Bold Christian University is a weird case. It calls itself a university and offers degree programs, but its not an accredited school. I dont mind, as I dont think a government should have the power of telling religious institutes what to do, but its important to know this fact.
The institute offers three different degree programs:
- Bachelor of Christian Evangelism
- Master of Christian Evangelism
- Doctor of Christian Evangelism
Youll learn everything about Christianity: Literature, Sociology, Evangelism, and many other topics. If you are looking for a degree program that is entirely free and that gives you a comprehensive understanding of Christianity and its history, look no further. Bold Christian University has got you covered.
As the name suggests, it is a bold university. You sure wont be missing that. You can tell a lot of passion and religious fervor went into making the website and all the materials. I suggest attending this if youre already convinced of your path towards Christendom. Otherwise, look for other more neutral programs.

Yale is an Ivy League school that offers many online courses to the public completely free. I know they dont exactly fit this list, since they dont offer a certificate upon completion, but they are offered by such a high-quality university that not including them felt wrong.

- Introduction to the New Testament history and literature
Even if you are looking for a course that comes with a certificate, I suggest looking at these two courses offered by Yale. They are a great introduction to religious studies, and they will make your study path much easier in the future.

In 1John 5:18 John affirms three truths about believers, whom he refers to as born of God:
The person who is born of God does not continue to sinWhether we understand sin here as the sin of deliberate unbelief or as a moral sin, this statement is true:
Those who are born of God, that is, those who believe that Jesus is the Christ , may have observable glitches in their faith, as Peter did under pressure of fear, but those glitches are temporary hiccups that do not reflect their real faith that God sees in their hearts. They do not continue to sin, they do not continue to reject Jesus. Their real rejection of Jesus ceased when they acknowledged him as the Christ, and God knows that.
And those who are born of God, also, as John taught previously, do not continue a life of habitual moral sinfulness. Yes. They still sin, they still do wrong things John makes clear in 1:8 and 10. But their life is not characterized by sin.
the one who was born of God keeps him safeJohn gives the reason, and it is a strong reason, why a person of real faith in the real Jesus will never reject Jesus in a final way. Johns does not continue to sin is followed in the Greek text by alla which is a strong but, setting up a contrast between what is said before and after. Rather than the person who is born of God continuing in sin, particularly in the sin of denying or rejecting Christ, there is someone keeping him safe from such a possibility.
