Bible Verse Plans For You

Gods Plans For You Are Sure True And Faithful

Jeremiah 29:11 “I know the plans I have for you” – animated Bible verse art

We all make plans in life regarding the future. Dont we? But not all of our plans work out the way we want. We become influenced by people, circumstances, and opportunities. We all make choices both good and bad and they can influence weather we succeed with our plans or not. I must note however that the plans we make are based on our limited knowledge and often with self-interest in mind and can change as our interests or circumstances change.

Gods plans for you are sure. They do not change. His plans for you are great.

Israels choices had an effect on their future. It did not matter what they had planned or the choices they made Gods plan for them would not change. His plan was sure.

God used Nebuchadnezzar to bring about a situation in the lives of the Israelites to bring them to a point of crying out to God once again. God used the Israelites time in Babylon for their good so that the Israelites would cry out to God once more and turn back to God. Rebellion and sin have consequences.

Both the Old and New Testaments reveal Gods love and promise of a hope and future for those who are faithful and call out to the Lord. God does not stop us from making bad decisions. He does not turn His back on us forever, even if we have turned our backs to Him.

Gods plan for you is not to harm you but to give you a hope and future. That hope and future is for all who seek God and call on the name of the Lord.

God’s Will Verses From The Bible

With just a little bit of Bible study, we can find many scriptures and verses that tell us what God says about our lives and our purpose. And knowing that God has a plan, as well as keeping the faith and trusting him always, can help us live with purpose and intention.

Lets take a look at what the Lord has said about His plan for us and perhaps this will help give you a future purpose.

Verses That Prove God Has A Plan For Your Life

And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?

-Matthew 6:27

Welcome to Day 17 of 31 Days of Battling Anxiety with Biblical Truth!

God has plans. From the very beginning when He created this world, He had a plan. For day and night, heavens and earth, land and sea, sun and moon, birds and fish, animals and humans, He has always had a plan. And just four verses into His Word, we see that He likes His plan. He calls it good. Indeed, near the end of creation, He calls His plan very good. .

His plan is good because of the purpose it will serve. It is good because of the hope it will give. It is good because of the lives it will save. But really, it is good simply because of the God who calls it so. Creation had only to be created for it to be called good.

But still, God has plans. He has them for you. He knew the span of your life before you were formed in your mothers womb. He knows the hairs on your head, the thoughts in your mind, and the hours that you will live on this earth. He would not leave such attention to detail merely to chance. God has plans for you, and they are good.

Here are fifteen Bible verses that prove that God has plans for your life. May they fill your mind with peace and your heart with comfort as you soak up the knowledge that Gods plans for your life are not for disaster, but for hope.

The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps. Proverbs 16:9

Until tomorrow, carry on warriors.

Bible Verses About Trusting Gods Plan For Us

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Would you trust a blind stranger to lead you while being blindfolded yourself? I bet not. God is not blind, and He is no stranger. When He says that He has a plan for your life, trust Him because He never makes mistakes, and His love never fails. Jeremiah 29:11 is an excellent promise to hold on to.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are Gods handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

It is not always easy to do good, especially if the person is undeserving of anything good. But, let us not forget that everyone is Gods child, so when Jesus tells us to love our enemies, we should do just that.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Sometimes, I feel grateful for Gods control in my life. I trust Him with absolute confidence, and He is way better than me when it comes to planning and seeing the future. Let this Bible verse remind us how we should trust our heavenly Father.

Gods Plan For The Nations

Throughout history people have lived under the despotic rule of political leaders serving their own self interests to the detriment of the common man. God has a plan to establish a leader who embodies his love. Having defeated the power of sin and death, Jesus will rule over all nations as King and Lord.

People will gather from every nation on earth to praise God for the salvation He provides through Jesus, the Lamb of God, “who came to take away the sins of the world” .

God and His people will be unified in their love for one another. People from every nation will praise God with a loud voice, serving Him day and night, as God shelters them with His presence, comforting them, and providing for their needs.

The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.

Going Through Something Difficult God’s Plan For You Is Great

Today we revisit a message from 2017 that is more relevant today than ever.

God has a purpose and plan for you. His plans are sure, true, and faithful. This doesnt mean that you will never experience problems or trials in life, but you do have an eternal future in Christ spiritually. Gods plan for you is to prosper and grow spiritually in Christ in the very situation you are in right now.

Gods plans for you are sure.

Gods plans for you are great.

What plans have you made? Are they going as planned? We should consider our plans in light of Gods plan.

What Does Jeremiah 2: 11 Not Mean

Out of Context: “Plans to Prosper You” // Time of Grace

This verse promises restoration and redemption for a people in exile that would lead to the salvation of mankind. It is full of hope and assurance. However, it is not always used to convey that message. It can sometimes be used, when taken out of context, to mean that Christians today have guarantees of blessings and prosperity. It can also be used to give a false sense of purpose, chasing after material blessings in a worldly fashion, rather than seeking after God. This verse only guarantees the exiled Israelites that they had not been forgotten by their Lord, not that He guarantees material gain for people who believe in Him.

Does this mean that Christians cannot look to this verse for hope and encouragement?

Not at all!

While the verse does not guarantee comfort and success, it does promise redemption, something the modern Christian experiences daily after being forgiven of their sins, because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God does have a plan for all His people, and Jesus even says, Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore you are of more value than many sparrows . The truth Jesus states here is the same one from Jeremiah 29:11. God loves humanity, wants to redeem them to Himself, and plans for a glorious eternity together.

What Does It Mean That God Knows The Plans He Has For Us

In the context of Jeremiah 29, the phrase, I know the plans I have for you, refers to the plans the Lord has had for the people of Israel from the beginning. This verse is a reiteration of the promises of God, as well as the guarantee that He always keeps His covenants.

They were the descendants of Abraham, with whom God made a covenant to bless His descendants. They were the people of David, a man after Gods own heart. Even though they broke their promise to worship only the one true God, He was not going to forget His word, and would restore them to blessings. In fact, this verse is a foreshadowing of the coming Messiah, the Lord Jesus.

God promised David, a descendant who would reign forever, You have said, I have made a covenant with my chosen one I have sworn to David my servant: I will establish your offspring forever and build your throne for all generations . There is only one throne that lasts forever, the throne of God where Jesus Christ will reign forever. If God allowed the descendants of David to be carried out to Babylon to go extinct in exile, then that promise of an eternal throne for Davids descendants could not have been fulfilled.

In context, this verse served as an encouragement for the Jews in exile, and should be a great encouragement for Christians today. God is not fickle, and He keeps His promises! Because the Father kept His promises to use the Jewish people in His plans, the whole world has access to salvation through Jesus Christ.
