Bible Verses About Gods Timing And Plan

Knowing God’s Plan For Your Life – Jeremiah 29:11 – Popular Bible Verses

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Sometimes Gods timing for His plan is difficult to comprehend because He is working on a different timeline. God is never slow in keeping His promises instead, He knows the perfect timing for everything.

The Lord works out everything to its proper end even the wicked for a day of disaster.

The Lord has a grand plan, and He can turn even the evil things people do to us into something good and beneficial.

But, as it is written, What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.

We cannot fully comprehend the will of God, and therefore we cannot fully understand how great His plan for us is.

Instead, you ought to say, If the Lord wishes, we will live and do this or that.

Unlike God, we know nothing of what will happen tomorrow, so we must always consider Him in our plans.

God’s Plan Of Salvation From The Book Of Romans:

Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9-10 – If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Romans 10:13 – For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Sometimes Gods Plan Is For You To Wait

Wait or take action? Its hard to say. At times in our life, its important to wait on God. You cant change Gods timetable and his timing is perfect.

I have a hard time waiting and some people wait too long. I try to wait until I think I know the direction he wants me to go, then I pray that he will open the doors I am to walk through and close the doors that he wants closed.

This has been a powerful prayer for me because regardless of human will, no matter what we do, if God closes a door it will remain closed.

God’s Will Verses From The Bible

With just a little bit of Bible study, we can find many scriptures and verses that tell us what God says about our lives and our purpose. And knowing that God has a plan, as well as keeping the faith and trusting him always, can help us live with purpose and intention.

Lets take a look at what the Lord has said about His plan for us and perhaps this will help give you a future purpose.

What Is Gods Ultimate Plan

In the words of John Piper, Gods ultimate plan for the universe is to glorify Himself through the white-hot worship of a blood-bought bride.

Jesus came the first time to set right what went wrong in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and sin and death entered the world. In His foreknowledge, Gods ultimate plan existed from the foundations of the world before Adam and Eve were even created. .

This Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.

Jesus came to die in our place, purchasing salvation for all who would put their faith in Him. Part two of Gods ultimate plan is His second coming.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

For the Son of Man will come in His Fathers glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.

Then the heaven and earth will pass away, to be replaced with Gods new heaven and earth of unimaginable beauty and glory, where there will be no sin, sickness, death, or sadness.

Psalm 3: 7 Waiting Patiently

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

~ Psalm 37:7

These words of David have brought tremendous solace to many who have been overwhelmed with the struggles of life.

Let us be still in the presence of the LORD every day as we patiently wait for Him to act because God is never late and His timing and plan are the best for us.

Indeed, the LORD saves the righteous from the wicked in His own time and in His own way To remain still in the presence of the LORD and calmly await His action.

Galatians : 4 In The Fullness Of Time

Pin on Bible verses

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.

~ Galatians 4:4

God gave His Son so that all men and women that believe, in past, present, and future, could be forgiven of their sins and enjoy eternal life.

God sent His Son into the world at the appointed moment: in the fullness of time, to save us from our sins.

Yes, God sent forth His Son at the appropriate moment, and He was born of a woman and under the Law in order for us to obtain forgiveness of sins.

In all we do, we must align with Gods timing if we want it to be successful.

Bible Verses About God’s Will – Scripture Quotes on God’s Plan

God’s will for our lives has reason and purpose. It is through scripture, where we can find meaning and principles discerning God’s will. if you are interested in knowing Gods plan for your life, then you must learn to walk with God. You need to develop a relationship with Him. Christianity is all about a relationship and spiritual connection rather than just religion. You will cultivate that relationship best by spending time in His Word, taking time for prayer, and taking every opportunity you can to be involved in church and small group Bible study opportunities. When you seek these disciplines in your life, God will begin the first steps to revealing His plan to you.

Many times when we say we are seeking Gods will, what we are really wanting to say to God is this: OK, God, heres what Im planning to do. Now I need you to rubber-stamp this, all right? I must tell you that this is not really effective in finding His true will. Before God will begin to reveal His will to you, you must be committed to doing whatever it is that He desires for you to do. God will likely be slow to show you His plan if He knows you will likely not do that plan anyway.

Seek God’s will and plan for your life through obedience, prayer, and listening to the Holy Spirit. Use these Bible verses about the will of God to gain a better understanding of His plan for your life.
