Are Gods Promises For Everyone
Some are, and some arent.
Gods promise to Noah is for everyone. We all benefit from this promise even people who dont believe in God benefit our world will never be destroyed again by flood.
Gods promises in the Abrahamic Covenant were mainly for Abraham specifically , but an element of the promise was for everyone:
And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.
That refers to Abrahams descendent: Jesus the Messiah. All people in the world are blessed because Jesus came to die for the sins of the world. However, they only receive the blessing if they believe in Jesus .
God made specific promises to specific people that were only for that person or group of people, not for everyone. One hundred years before Cyrus the Great was born, God made him a promise . It was specifically for him, by name, even though Cyrus hadnt been born yet.
This is what the LORD says to Cyrus His anointed,
Whom I have taken by the right hand,
To subdue nations before him . . .
I will go before you and make the rough places smooth
I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars.
So that you may know that it is I,
The LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name . . .
I have given you a title of honor
Though you have not known Me.
And God does have plans for our own future and hope , which are actually better plans than what God had for the Babylonian captives.
How Many Promises Of God Are There In The Bible
In the book All the Promises of the Bible, the author Herbert Locklear found 7,147 promises from God to man in the Bible.
That is a lot of promises.
Which leads us to the other end of the spectrum of having an overwhelming amount of promises and not even knowing what to do with them.

Seeking God Infuses Hope
Time in Gods presence renews endurance to run the race ahead, a longing to see His kingdom come, and an expectancy to see Him move here on earth. Because He cares for you, you can cast all your apprehension on Him and receive a restored hope for the future.
- This I recall to my mind therefore I have hope. Through the Lords mercies, we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning great is Your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, says my soul, Therefore I hope in Him! The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Lamentation 3:21-25
- Then you will know that I am the Lord those who hope in me will not be disappointed. Isaiah 49:23

Choosing To Seek God Leads To Deliverance
God has never forsaken those who diligently seek Him. Those who trust in Him will never be abandoned . He is a fortified tower of safety for all who run to Him .
- I sought the Lord, and he answered me he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant their faces are never covered with shame. Psalm 34:4-5
- The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him he hears their cry and saves them. Psalm 145:18-20
- Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Psalms 107:13-14

Gods Promises In The New Testament
The New Testament is filled with hundreds of promises here are a few:
- Salvation: If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
- Holy Spirit: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.
Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Gods Promises In The Bible
In summary, we are promised by God some very foundational things that we could not live without. They are essential to our existence and give us hope for the future. We are promised:
- salvation from judgement
- a place in the world to come
- to share in spiritual blessings with the Messiah
- in Heaven, we will have a new name
- we can never be separated from the love of God
- there will be no more suffering and pain in the world to come
These promises are at the core of our faith. God has so loved the world that He made it clear how we can regain access to His presence. He gave His Son to unite us with Himself and to invite us to His Kingdom. That is the Good News of the Gospel and the great promise that will not be broken.

The Promises Of God To Israel
When we talk about the promises of God, we have to acknowledge an important fact. Before any of His promises can be applied to the Body of Messiah, Gods promises were first given to His people Israel. And it is impressive how often God stresses the fact that His promises are eternal and last forever.
The whole story of salvation centers around the history of Israel, her creation, redemption and restoration. Gods might and power is evident in His everlasting promise to Israel . There, the Lord promises He will make Abram into a great nation and will bless him.
Later on, in Deuteronomy 30:3-5, God promises to Israel a specific land you guessed it! From that moment on, we know it as the Promised Land. The Lord said He would bring his people to the land He chose, and He would make their descendants prosperous.
