About Christ’s Church Of The Valley

It is our mission to win people to Christ, train believers to become disciples and send disciples to impact the world. Serving is a great way to get involved in the CCV community. We have opportunities for every age and interest.

Our student ministry is dedicated to creating an authentic environment for them to connect with God in a real and powerful way. From the loud music to the crazy games, everything we do is about creating Christ-centered difference makers. Behind the scenes or upfront and personal, you can find the perfect fit for yourself and your family. Experience firsthand the impact our volunteer teams have on our local, national and international ministry.

Jesus called us reach out to people from every nationand we take this charge seriously. At CCV we are involved or have founded several large scale projects that have a global impact. Throughout the year, teams travel on short-term mission trips.

Neighborhood groups are vital to our church. They provide a sense of connection and security as we all tackle life together. Our neighborhood groups draw out the relevance of biblical principles discussed in the weekend services.

About Our Worship Services

Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:00AM with everyone meeting in the auditorium. We will sing a few songs, then we will have a prayer and be dismissed to classes. We have classes for all ages, we have an adult class in the auditorium. Classes will end at 10:45AM, after classes are over, we meet back in the auditorium to share announcements to the church, which includes upcoming events and prayer requests for various needs. After announcements we will sing one song, partake in the Lords supper, and take up the contribution. After the contribution we will have one song then a prayer, we will sing a few more songs. After the songs we will have a prayer and turn the worship service over to our minister. Sunday morning service will end at 12:00PM with an invitation and a dismissal prayer. We ask visitors to stay after service so that we can get to know you better.

Wednesday Evening Bible study begins at 6:30pm with everyone meeting in the auditorium to share announcements to the church, which includes upcoming events and prayer requests for various needs. After announcements we will sing a few songs, then we will have a prayer and be dismissed to classes. We have classes for all ages, we have an adult class in the auditorium. Classes will end at 7:15PM, after classes are over, we meet back in the auditorium to have an invitation and a closing prayer. We ask visitors to stay after service so that we can get to know you better.

Family And Personal Life

Wilson married his wife, Susan on August 9, 1968, and has three grown children, Paul, Kelli and Kristi, all of whom are involved in full-time ministry. Don also has eleven grandchildren, Madison, Russell, Riley, Marlee, Jacob, Garrett, Jenna, Suzanna, Mia, Whitney and Abigail. Four of his grandchildren are married.

The Sound Of Worship That Carries The Culture Of Ccv Philadelphia

CCV Worship is the music of CCV, a church in the Philadelphia area. CCV Worship exists to reach people far from God, introducing them to Jesus and equipping, encouraging, and empowering them to live their whole lives as fully devoted followers of Him.

Featuring a collective of worship artists and creatives led by worship leader Eric Sumpter, CCV Worship released their debut original single Rest in October of 2018. Shortly after, they released a Christmas EP, A CCV Christmas, which compiled some of the favorite holiday worship moments from event gatherings along with the original worship tune The King Has Come .

Christs Church Of The Valley To Build In Maricopa

A new church could soon be coming to Maricopa.

Christs Church of the Valley, which was founded in 1982 and has 13 locations Valley-wide from Verrado to Queen Creek, has submitted preliminary documents to the city in preparation for building a campus in Maricopa.

The campus would have a church building, parking lots and athletic fields on 10.3 acres near the southeastern corner of East Honeycutt and North Porter roads.

Preliminary documents submitted to the city describe the campus:

This site will include an auditorium to seat approximately 680 occupants in worship, children/youth spaces, support offices, kitchen/coffee café, outdoor grill/covered seating, grass play yards, sport court, fenced sport fields and generous parking to support the various events, the documents read. CCV also offers a special needs program on each campus during normal service hours. CCV provides more parking spaces than is required by zoning to accommodate the parking demands caused by multiple services held at 30-minute intervals. Parking attendants utilize bollards and direct traffic within the site to avoid backups. Campus security is provided during service times along with uniformed officers as needed.

The parcel is zoned CB-2 for business and is surrounded by similar zoning on all sides that are eligible for development.
