Temple Baptist Church of West Cobb is an independent, Bible believing church preaching and teaching from the King James Version of the Holy Bible. We are based in western Cobb County GA near the Cobb/Paulding County line, at 5415 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127. Brother Josh Hon is our pastor. We work to spread the Gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

About The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter
Attending church each Sunday is a respite from fast-paced daily living. Attend church at 2595 New Macland Road to reflect, worship God, strengthen your spiritual connections, and focus on Jesus. Worship with a community of people who are trying to be more Christlike and learn from each other. There are two meetings in a two hour time. The main meeting is called sacrament meeting. This meeting consists of songs, prayers, and sermons given by different members of the congregation and take the sacrament . In addition to sacrament meeting, there are a variety of other classes for both children and adults. Theres something for everyone from 18 months old and up! Each meet together for a lesson and discussion that are based on a different section of scripture each week.

I love the security for the children’s area. My biggest & only complaint is the standing and singing the first 20 minutes. The ones with health issues that cannot stand like myself cannot read the words to the songs on the screens because everyone is standing .”

Where Do My Children Go
First Baptist has excellent preschool and children’s ministries. Greeters are just inside our entrances before every service and our “blue shirt” volunteers will assist you in getting your children to their class or department. Connection Group classes are offered for all ages. Your child will be checked-in by our staff in the Rutledge Building on the first floor. Our secure classrooms will require you to register before leaving your child with us and you will be assigned a pager so that you can be contacted while on our campus.
