When the Apostle Peter wrote about Jesus bearing our sins on the cross, he referred to Isaiah 53:5 which says, with his wounds we are healed , but it was in the context of spiritual healing and not a physical sickness, as Jesus was crushed for our iniquities upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace . The healing that this passage promises is beyond a physical recovery that even if a person is healed, theyll eventually die, so the greatest healing of all is the removal of our sins by Jesus bearing them on the cross. That was Isaiahs intent in writing chapter 53.

What Is The Gospel
The gospel is the good news of Gods grace invading the darkness of this world. It is the grand narrative of creation, fall, redemption and consummation ordained by God and orchestrated through the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. Christs crucifixion is the heart of the gospel. His resurrection is the power of the gospel. His ascension is the glory of the gospel.
Christs death is a substitutionary and propitiatory sacrifice to God for our sins. It satisfies the demands of Gods holy justice and appeases His holy wrath. It also demonstrates His mysterious love and reveals His amazing grace. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man. There is no other name by which men can be saved. At the heart of all sound doctrine is the cross of Jesus Christ and the infinite privilege that redeemed sinners have in glorifying God because of what He has accomplished. Therefore, we want all that takes place in our hearts, churches and ministries to proceed from and be related to the gospel.
The end result of the Gospel is the restoration and renewal of all things. The world that we live in, which is plagued by darkness, death, and despair, will one day be renewed fully and finally when Jesus returns again. The end of human history is not evacuation from the earth but restoration of the earth, and the Gospel is the only remedy for that to happen.

Jesus Called His Twelve Disciples To Him And Gave Them Authority To Drive Out Impure Spirits And To Heal Every Disease And Sickness Matthew : 1 Niv
As disciples of Jesus, we have the authority to heal every disease and sickness. In Romans 6:10,11, we are reminded that the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead has been given to us and lives inside us when we are born again.
We have multiple records of Jesus healing the sick, and we see his disciples healing the sick, but how often do we exercise this authority? Do we even believe that we have this authority over sickness? It is not just a recitation of words that will bring us healing but a life of faith and prayer.
We have no authority to do anything if we do not first believe that we do, and second, stand boldly in that authority. In James 5:14-16, we are instructed to take our sick ones to the church. It is not the building that saves, nor the people, but the prayer of faith.

For children ages 0-3, we have a nursery that parents can utilize for the entirety o of the service. Children ages 4 and up will worship alongside the adults for the first half of the worship service and then will be dismissed to Niños, which is an age appropriate environment for our children about God. The children will return after the sermon to conclude the service as a community.

When you sin and do not confess or ask for forgiveness, or simply fall away from Gods path, you may be spiritually sick. The world is often the main cause of sickness as the world does not follow Gods will.
Thankfully, treatment of spiritual sickness is easy. Look at Romans 12:2, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will ishis good, pleasing and perfect will. Remember to avoid the thinking patterns of the world but to stay close to Gods will to avoid spiritual sickness. Jesus Himself is the cure for spiritual problems as He is the physician for sin .
