As humans, we face many challenges that will always make us discouraged and tend to worry about what tomorrow will become, but from the verse above we see that God has definite and concrete plans for us.
This plan he has is for us to prosper and live a better life here on earth and beyond.

Christians who dont focus on Gods Kingdom tend to pursue comfort, health, and prosperity. So, its easy for them to believe false teachers who promise that God wants all of His children to be healthy and wealthy. If you hold to this belief you can expect a rude awakening when life doesnt go your way.
Be aware, Satan has ruined countless lives by seducing them to believe God wont let anything bad happen to themonly to later deceive them into questioning Gods goodness when trials occur. To guard against the enemy you must be aware of his schemes.
Ephesians 4:14 warns, That we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
When Satan tempted Eve to distrust Gods motives, he got the foothold he needed to trick her into eating the forbidden fruit. And he wants to do the same to you so he can seduce you into rebelling against God .

The past few years have been tough ones, and people are looking for hope and encouragement in the midst of worry and anxiety.
Today I thought I would share a few Bible verses that explore the topic of worry, and how we can find peace and calm in a troubled world.

Reasons You Shouldnt Worry About Tomorrow
1. God is in control. Life situations can change in an instant, from your job status to your relationships to your health. However, God is unchangeable He is the same today as He was yesterday as He will be tomorrow .
Because of that, you can breathe easier knowing that the unchangeable God sits on the throne for eternity, no matter whos causing you strife at work, at home, or elsewhere .
God promises to bring good out of every situation for those who put their trust in Him . When you put your faith in God and His commandments, you stop living for your selfish desires and start to reflect His power, love, and self-discipline .
This doesnt mean that youll always understand the Lords ways, especially when disaster strikes . Rather than try to make sense of lifes tragedies, put your trust in the Kings promise that His plan is to prosper you and give you hope and a future .
2. God wants you to look to Him, not the future when youre troubled. God wants to guide you through your daily struggles.
Like any loving parent, God wants to be the voice that tells you which path to take when youre at a crossroads . Also, like any loving parent, He cant help you if dont allow Him into your life first.
Thats a pretty ungrateful way to live. It also sets a bad example for your children and others who look to you for your Christian witness.
Consider how God sustained the Israelites in the desert with just enough manna for the day .

A shepherd will always cater to his sheep. God is our shepherd and we are his sheep, so we dont need to worry about anything.

Focus On Gods Attributes
Even David, who the Lord referred to as a man after Gods own heart, wrestled with worry. David cried out, For innumerable evils have surrounded me My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. But when David felt surrounded by evil, and his heart failed him in fear, he didnt remain stuck in anxiety. Rather, David looked to God for his help. He prayed, Be pleased O Lord, make haste to help me! Let them be ashamed .
David also combatted worry by remembering that God was for him no matter what man may try to do. He said, In God I have put my trust I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? .
We can learn a lot from Davids response to worry and fear. David wasnt a perfect man with a perfect family. He blew it big time later in life. And his kids made horrible choices that caused him grief. But David knew he could trust in Gods character. He knew that he was the apple of the Lords eye and was confident that God was aware of his troubles. And David knew that God was the only One he could turn to for help in his time of need.
Because the best way to be victorious over worry is to know Gods character so well that when troubles arise, youre ready to trust Him even when life doesnt make sense.

Dont Worry Trust In God
Have faith in Gods plan for your life, and trust that he has plans to give you a hope and a future.
