We all hold a high value on keeping our community safe, especially those who are most vulnerable among us.

Prince Of Peace Little Food Pantry

We are pleased to announce the installation of a Little Food Pantry to serve arearesidents. The pantry is stocked with non-perishable items and will be restocked on a regular basis.

The pantry is available for all who may be in need of the items. There are no eligibility requirements and no set number of times someone may use the pantry. We count on the users to be respectful of the resources and we ask that no more than half the items be taken so that there is something for the next person.

The Pantry is available 24/7/365 and may be found in the parking lot of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, on 4 Northcrest Dr. (opposite the intersection of Moe Rd. and Rte.146.

Donors may leave non-perishable items in the pantry. If you bring donations during business hours please bring them into the office.

The pantry was built by Jakob Quail as a Boy Scout project and its construction was funded by a grant from the Grace Endowment Fund.

We hope this pantry is a blessing to the community.

Welcome To Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church

In the land of a ‘thousand oaks,’ oak trees are sort of important. They’re even protected by city ordinance which forbids them to be cut down! But did you know oak trees are also important to God? Not only because they are part of His creation but also because God once used oak trees to describe His people. Now, being compared to a tree might not sound like much of a compliment, but think about what God is saying! Oak trees are powerful and majestic they have deep and strong roots they are beautifully adorned with leaves to provide shade and comfort for those nearby they can withstand harsh drought conditions and all of this happens because they thrive and grow in the presence of the sun.

This is why Prince of Peace exists: to make and strengthen “oak tree” Christians. We believe this happens when people come into the presence of the Son, Jesus Christ, who draws near to us through His Word and Sacraments. Here the Lord fortifies and deepens the roots of our faith. He gives us endurance and hope to withstand the harsh conditions of living in a broken world. And He beautifully adorns us with His love, equipping us to serve those nearby with love and good deeds.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope it tells you a little bit about our ministry and answers any questions you might have. Even more than that, we would love for you to visit us in person. Come meet your God and a couple of the oaks He has planted.

The Divine Service

Indoor Worship | Every Sunday | 9:30am

Every church approached the challenges of the pandemic a little differently. Some continued to worship indoors while others went exclusively virtual. Starting in July 2020, we moved our weekly worship service outside. We did this in an effort to follow local guidelines but also to provide an opportunity for people to continue gathering in-person. As of August 2021, we have moved back inside. We plan to continue making use of our outdoor worship from time to time as weather permits, but our primary location will be inside our chapel. We invite you and your family to enjoy a weekly opportunity to grow in your faith, hear the confirmation of Gods love for you in Jesus and be set free to love and serve those around you!

Family Bible Hour

Every Sunday | 11am

Following the Divine Service and some fellowship time each Sunday, we host Family Bible Hour. Children are welcome to attend with or without their parents as they sing songs, learn a Bible story, and complete a corresponding activity. At the same time, the teens and adults meet back in the chapel for their own Bible study. We cover a range of topics, doctrines, books of the Bible, etc. All are invited and welcome to attend.

Fill out the information below to subscribe to our weekly emails which include Bible class Zoom links, worship insights, devotions, and more!
