Drive Thru & Door To Door Food Distributions

Southwest continues to partner with The Narrow Door to alleviate food insecurity in our valley. They have increased cleaning and severely limited volunteers at their food packing warehouse in order to remain active during the COVID-19 crisis, and we have strictly limited outreach efforts to teams of 10 in open air locations for the welfare of our volunteers and recipients.

Drive Thru Food Box Distribution Every other Friday beginning at 8 AM right here on the Southwest Church campus. Volunteers are not needed at this time, but please help us spread the word to those in need.

Door-to-Door Food Box Distribution Families in the east valley are especially impacted by the economic hit of COVID-19. We will continue our Saturday morning outreaches in Coachella and Thermal, but modify our practices to ensure there is no physical contact and appropriate distance is maintained while we pray for families and distribute food. Bi-lingual volunteers and volunteers with trucks are especially helpful!

Help Our Valleys Homeless Stay Cool This Summer

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission is on the front lines providing four cooling centers throughout the valley which offer temporary shelter, snacks and water for clients.

You can help these cooling stations by donating cases of bottled water, gatorade, and grab-and-go snacks. Items can be dropped off at Southwest Church Entrance 2 on weekdays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.

Drive Thru Food Distributions

Southwest partners with The Narrow Door to help alleviate food insecurity in our valley. One way we will continue to do this is by hosting a drive thru center on the Southwest Church campus, EVERY OTHER FRIDAY from 9-11 AM beginning May 29. We hope to distribute over 300 boxes. People can receive a food box and never have to step out of the car. We will load a box in your trunk!
