A Message From Fr Michael Parker On The Passing Of Pope Emeritus Benedict Xvi

    Good and faithful servant

These words of the Gospel ring true as we mourn the death of Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, a servant of the Church, committed theologian, pastor, and spiritual leader.

May our prayers for Pope Emeritus Benedict be joined with the Church and the world in thanksgiving for all he shared in Gods Name.

O God, faithful rewarder of souls, grant that your departed servant Pope Emeritus Benedict, whom you made successor of Peter and shepherd of your Church, happily enjoy forever in your presence in Heaven the mysteries of your grace and compassion, which he faithfully ministered on earth.
