In What Name Should We Be Baptized
The Jesus’ Name doctrine or the Oneness doctrine upholds that baptism is to be performed “in the name of Jesus Christ,” rather than the Trinitarian formula “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” It is most commonly associated with Oneness Christology and Oneness Pentecostalism, however,
To Be Born Again Means To Distance Yourself From The World And All Evil
Almost everyone knows that the world is a sinful place full of affliction. And everyone who parts with this world, is also a part of its sin:
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
The disciples James and John rightly said:
Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility to God? Whoever wants to be a friend to the world, makes himself the enemy of God!Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
It is really not hard to see that humanity is corrupted and is getting worse day by day. If you are a proud member of the perverted society and tolerate the sins within in it, how can you be a part of Gods kingdom? The customs and standards of this world are in direct oppositon to the will of God. Therefore, friendship with this world means enmity with God.
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Can A Christian Be Baptized Twice

In order to answer your question properly, we should ask a few more questions:
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF BAPTISM? Romans 6:3-6 tells us, Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. We see in this portion that water baptism is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. By being baptized unto Jesus we were baptized unto His death. We IDENTIFY with the Lord, owning that we, too, have died, were buried, and risen a new creature when we put our faith in our savior. This act of identification is also our public proclamation of our belief in the Lord Jesus. Having done so, we are told to walk in newness of life and we should not serve sin. Colossians 2:12 speaks of this water baptism. It says, Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Can You Baptize Your Child Twice
You cannot, in either Orthodox and Catholic theology, re-baptize anyone. Baptism is the one-off rite that makes you part of the Church. Since Catholics and Orthodox share the trinitarian baptismal formula and the baptism is done with water, there is no reason whatsoever to attempt any such thing as a re-baptism.
Is It Ok To Be Baptized More Than Once
But none that Jesus or his disciples baptized, later experienced re-baptism by anyone.
If you obeyed the instructions of Jesus Christ concerning your baptism then its Ok. You obeyed! You dont need re-baptism.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Being Born Again Means Leaving Your Old Life Behind
Everyone who seeks a new life must be aware of its true purpose. It means that you stop living in sin and therefore start a new life in holiness and truth. In order to receive a new life it is mandatory to leave your old sinful self behind. Not only your bad habits and character traits must be discarded, but also every little thing that could prevent you from becoming a new person and serving God.
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
There are many examples in the Bible where people have given up their lives to start over new according to Gods will. God has commanded many of His children to leave their family and homes. Just like in the story of Abraham:
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee.
What Are The Two Main Effects Of Baptism
the principal effects of Baptism are grace, a washing of regeneration, a renewal by the Holy Spirit, an enlightenment, a gift, an anointing, a clothing, a bath, a seal. Why can Baptism be received only once? Baptism imprints the soul with a permanent mark or character designating one as a follower of Christ.

Six Texts We Cannot Ignore

Luther was not claiming to be saved simply because he was baptized. Rather, he rightly perceived the wonder and glory of baptism. He saw the visible, external act of baptism as an objective pointer to the invisible, internal reality of new birth and the faith through which we are saved on the basis of Christ alone. Luther was, after all, the great champion of justification by faith as well as one captivated by the power and grace of baptism.
Yet, as a baptist, I cant help but observe that something was missing in Luthers reminder to himself about his baptism. Luther was what we call a paedobaptist . He himself was baptized as an infant, not in response to a profession of his own faith, but because of the faith of his parents the faith they expected would be manifest someday in their newborn son. Luther himself supported and practiced baptism not only of adult converts, but also of the infants of Christian parents.
How much more powerful would recalling his baptism have been if he actually could have recalled it? What if his baptism would have been an expression of saving faith already plainly present in his soul, rather than just a hope and prayer of his parents?
The Promises Of Baptism
Bear one anothers burdens, that they may be light;.
Mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort;.;
He may;pour out his Spirit more abundantly upon you;.
Stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in;.
Ye will serve him and keep his commandments;.
Ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection, that ye may have eternal life;.

Baptism In Water For Believers
Matthew 28:19, 20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 8:35-38 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
What Are The Steps To Being Born Again
1 Peter 1: 23 describes the word of God as an incorruptible seed which is sown into the heart of man for him to be born again. The word of God is the seed that Holy Spirit sows in your heart to sanctify you and to bring a new life in you. The word or seed will germinant . The word of God you hear bring you faith to believe in Christ .

New Testament Precedent For Being Immersed A Second Time
While on his third missionary campaign, the apostle Paul came to the city of Ephesus. There, he encountered twelve men who formerly had been baptized with the type of baptism administered by John the Baptizer.
One might be inclined to conclude, therefore, that the apostle would have accepted these men as they were and merely organized them into a church.
But such was not the case. After questioning them as to the nature of their earlier baptism and determining that their pre-baptism instruction on the previous occasion had been lacking in essential details, Paul immersed these men into Christ . A simple understanding of the text reveals that their first baptism was deficient in some way.
And here is an extremely important implication of this case of re-baptism. The case clearly demonstrates that in order for ones baptism to be valid, accurate teaching and understanding must precede the rite. Otherwise, the act of baptism is a meaningless exercise and not based on faith .

What Is The Spiritual Meaning Of Baptism
The sacramental view holds that baptism is a means God uses to convey grace. The person baptized is set free from the power of sin and given a new spiritual life ” rel=”nofollow”>John 3:5-7).
Thecovenantal view holds that baptism is not a means of spiritual rebirth, but a sign and seal of God’s covenant of salvation. Baptism depicts the freeing from sin that occurs with repentance ” rel=”nofollow”>Acts 2:38), and serves the same covenantal purpose for Christians that circumcision does for Jews.
The symbolical view holds that no spiritual benefit results from baptism, itself. Rather, it is a public symbol of a spiritual rebirth that has already occurred in the person being baptized.
Which Apostle Followed This Command
Did all of the disciples of Jesus disobey him? None of them followed the baptismal-formula captured by those verses below.
Check the Bible, for not one disciple baptize anyone saying, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, .
They all baptized saying, the name of the Lord, that is saying, Jesus Christ.
And you want to know something, He was happy with them and how they baptized the people of the First Century Church.
Today, many Christians experience re-baptism not because the Bible instructs them to but because of their religious affiliations.

Can Baptism Save You
One does not have to be baptized to go to heaven. However, believers and their children should submit themselves to baptism if they are able. God commanded that we should be baptized. But our baptism, the visible expression of what God has done for us, that is, God’s grace, is not the saving power but is rather the divine authentication of God’s grace. The sum of the Scriptures teach us that baptism is not our testimony to God about what we have done for Him, but rather baptism is God’s testimony to us concerning His salvation promised, made possible, and applied by God the Father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Shall we deemphasize what the Almighty has emphasized? For not only did God command that the two sacraments are signs of salvation to be continued until the end of the world,;our Lord Jesus Christ forever linked baptism to the mission of the Church in the world. For the Great Commission is Christs final mandate to the Church and is, therefore, our first responsibility. We are not only to make disciples of the nations, but the disciples should be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Reasons Christians Experience Re
Therefore, dont be hasty to join religious organizations. Many of them dictate their members baptism or re-baptism. Some dont even baptize. They ignore the Bibles teaching on this.
Water baptism represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Seeing that he died once, then we should only experience baptism once.
In the first instance, if you obeyed his command concerning baptism you dont need to baptize again.

What Does The Bible Say About Being Born Again
The position of the scripture on the subject of being born again is explicitly clear but somehow not understood by many people. What bible says about being born again is that unless anyone be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Now on the aspect of the kingdom of God, the scriptures views it in two forms; firstly, when you hear the kingdom of God, what comes to your mind? The kingdom of God speaks of lifestyle and a place. ;Please do not get confused, the explanation of the previous statement will be made vivid later.
There are certain scenarios that Jesus illustrated to explain His teaching, such is called the parable, meanwhile, before His coming anyone who knows much about the kingdom of God John. Abraham understood it also. The parable of sower in Mark 4:13-20, 26-29, and parable of the mustard seed in Mark 4: 30-32 & Luke 13: 18-19, explains the meaning of the kingdom of God as a lifestyle here on Earth.
Furthermore, Jesus gave a counsel to a group of people that the kingdom of God does not come by mere observation rather the kingdom of God is within us . The kingdom of God is manifested when we exercise dominion over unclean spirits . Therefore, the kingdom of God as a lifestyle means that God is influencing the lives of men through His servants on Earth .
Generally, the Bible says about being born again is that, you will not live the life of God here on Earth or see the kingdom of God if you are not born again.
