Jackson Heights Church Hosts Jesus Is The Way Sermon Series
Jackson Heights Church of Christ, located at 1200 Nashville Hwy. in Columbia, will host a special sermon series on Jesus Is The Way for the public with guest speaker Mark Russell, of Valparaiso, Ind.
The meeting will begin Sunday, May 6, with services held at 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 5 p.m. and continue Monday-Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Everybody needs to focus on Jesus more. Were glad to have Mark with us because he is an effective communicator and these will be relevant messages that get people thinking about Jesus,saidi Jackson Heights minister Andrew Roberts.
Some of the weeks topics include Jesus Will Challenge Me, Jesus Transfigured and Jesus The Christ.
I want people to know what they can expect when they come to a service, Roberts said, They will be warmly greeted. There is going to be prayer, congregational singing and a truly biblical message. There are no requests for special donations. This isnt about bringing money into the church, its about sharing Gods word in the community.
All messages will be recorded and available in audiotape, CD or MP3 format. Lessons are available free of charge upon request. For information, call the church office at 388-6811 or go online to www.thebibleway.org.

The Lord is more willing to give the Holy Spirit to those who serve Him than parents are to give good gifts to their children. For the daily baptism of the Spirit every worker should offer his petition to God .
