Mass Update May 5 2021
My Dear community,
Mass will be celebrated and will be open our parishioners. Appropriate social distancing will be required. Saturday at 5:00 p.m. , Sunday at 8:00 am 9:30 am , and Sunday at 11:00 a.m. . We will need to follow the following guidelines.
Parishioners must:
- Use the hand sanitizer available
- Respect the social distancing of 6 feet.
- The congregation will stand.
- No singing during Mass.
- No sign of peace, or holding hands during the Lords Prayer
- The collection basket will not be passed. Instead, one basket will be placed in front of the Altar to receive donations.
- Mass will be about 25 minutes with just one reading, a brief homily, and distribution of the holy communion after the final blessing.
- Receiving Communion in the hand.
- Keep one line for communion per side.
- Stay 6 ft behind the person in front of you during communion.
- Upon leaving please leave the campus and not converse in the parking lot we dont want people breaking social distancing by gathering in the parking lot.
- Parishioners are still encouraged to stay home when ill.
- Those who feel they still wish to stay home and watch Mass on TV or Computer still have a dispensation to do so. Parishioners should come at your own Risk. Please follow the above requests and the CDC guidelines to take personal responsibility for your own safety.
