A Prayer For The Future Of The Parish

Holy Spirit lead us forward. Usher us beyond satisfaction or complacency into the loving challenge of ministry in our ever-changing world. Through your Divine guidance, may the parish, the school, and the many ministries of the St. Charles community build a City of God within our neighborhood so that we may be instruments of Gods grace. Amen

    Celebrating First Saturday Devotion

    At St. Charles Borromeo

On Saturday, September 3, our SCB Parish will be participating in the Five First Saturdays Devotion requested by Our Lady of Fatima. Confession will be available beginning at 7:30 am , we will begin praying the Rosary at 7:30 am, and we will celebrate Mass at 8:15 am. We invite you to join us for the Intention of seeking reparation for sins, to console the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for peace in the world. Please come and pray with us. After Mass, please stay for coffee and juice and join in fellowship and community.

    Basics

The Five First Saturdays devotion is one of the principal points of the Fatima message. It centers on the urgent need for mankind to offer reparation and expiate for the many injuries that the Immaculate Heart of Mary suffers from the hands of both impious and indifferent men. On the First Saturday during 5 Consecutive Months, the Devotion consists of: 1. Going to Confession, 2. Receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion, 3. Saying five decades of the Rosary, 4. Meditating for 15 minutes on the mysteries of the Rosary. All this offered in REPARATION for the sins of blasphemy and ingratitude committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
