Can Demons Live On The Inside Of A Christian
The first big area of debate that you will come across is whether or not Christians can actually have demons living and operating on the inside of them.
Many will say that once you are saved and born again, that there is no way that a demon can enter in on the inside of you.
We have now been bought back by Jesus Christ Himself and He now owns us. Thus, there is no way that a demon or a group of demons can enter in on the inside of a Christian.
At first glance, this appears to be a very logical and valid argument. But in the actual fields of combat, the deliverance ministers who do this on a very regular basis, have found out that Christians can get demons on the inside of them if the appropriate legal rights have been given to the demons to be able to enter in.
Here is their reasoning, and for the record, we do fully agree with this reasoning. The Bible says that we have three parts to our being body, soul, and spirit. When we get saved and born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live in our human spirits.
It is our human spirit that is instantaneously regenerated and born again at our conversions. Our souls and our bodies are not regenerated at this new birth, it is just our spirits. Please refer to our article, Regeneration by the Holy Spirit, on the actual verses on all of this.
One deliverance minister uses the analogy of the Temple that the Jewish people built for God the Father back in the Old Testament to illustrate all of this.
Analysis Of The Battle Prayer
With the Lords help, I drew up this special type of battle prayer for many of you so that you could throw every possible effective battle strategy against the demons, along with making sure that both you, the person who has the demons in them, and anyone else who may be in the room with you will be fully protected from any possible counterattacks from these demons once you start up the actual deliverance.
This battle prayer came in a little bit longer compared to some of the other ones that we have in our site, but when you are dealing with a nest of demons who have been living on the inside of a person for a certain number of years, you will want to cover all of your bases with them and the Lord, along with wanting to throw everything at them including the kitchen sink.
Notice the following strategies that was in this battle prayer :
1. The first thing you will want to do before you start to directly engage with the demons is to get Gods full protection on you so that neither you, the host, or anyone else who is in the room will be attacked by these demons. In this type of heavier battle prayer, I will have you do the following so that you can get Gods full protection on both you and the host before you start to actually engage with the demons:
b) Ask God to station His battle angels all around you
c) Plead the Blood of Jesus on your body, soul, spirit, and on some of your personal possessions for Gods protection

What Does The Bible Say About Deliverance
The Bible says that deliverance is a very important part of Christs ministry in each persons life. Jesus delivers from condemnation, sin and the influence of the devil. Only in Jesus deliverance do we find true freedom .
The Bible talks about many types of deliverance: deliverance from slavery and oppression of other peoples, spiritual deliverance and deliverance from physical illness. Liberation is a central theme of the Bible. Oppression arose as a result of the curse of sin in the world. Liberation comes from God.
Spiritual deliverance
Just as a person can be oppressed and enslaved by someone else, he can also be enslaved by sin and, consequently, by the forces of the devil . Sin makes us slaves to the devil. We cannot free ourselves . We need someone stronger than us. We need Jesus.
Jesus came to deliver us from the oppression of the enemy. On the cross, he overcame sin, death and the devil! Now, anyone who accepts Jesus as a savior is free!
Through Jesus, we are free from the condemnation of sin . We will no longer be punished in hell, together with the devil! We have the promise of eternal life, with Jesus in Heaven. We are no longer slaves to the devil, he has no right over our lives. But we still need to fight sin and the devils influence.

It was a rainy April morning the week before Easter. My young nephew was visiting for a few days, and I had brought him with me to the office. Being a computer nut, he had just planted himself in front of my keyboard when the phone rang: “Pastor, can you come? We need you, and we need you now!” It was Mike, one of my newer members.
“I would, Mike, but I don’t have a car here right now.”
“I’ll be right over!” he yelled.
While getting into Mike’s car, I felt sick in my stomach when he said: “Pastor, you’re about to get educated and educated fast!” Trying to figure out what he meant, my mind raced along with the car. I sensed it had something to do with the demonic.
My fears were confirmed after we arrived at the house. The atmosphere inside was hideousI’d never witnessed anything like it. His wife, Debbie, was thrashing around on the living room sofa, evidently possessed by an evil spirit. The voice speaking through her was gravelly, bitter, and vindictive. The next three and a half hours were a blur, even though each moment seemed to drag endlessly along.

Hope Is A Gift From God
Hope isnt up to us to muster from within. Hope is a gift, deposited into us by the Holy Spirit. In Jeremiah, God was revealing his plan to give us this hope forever. Not only for deliverance from Old Testament trials or enemies, but for a new life beyond our wildest imaginations.
Our hope is placed in a gift we simply cannot achieve on our own. We hope because God promises we will enter into the inner place behind the curtain, , and it is indeed a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future .
So that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us .

We Need Deliverance From Depression And Loneliness: The Illustration Of This Is In 1 Kings 1: 1
In 1 Kings chapters 17, 18 and 19 we see Elijahs faith shining out at the brook Cherith and in the widows house at Zarephath. On Mount Carmel we see it again, and his challenge to the powers of darkness. He stood up to Ahab, Jezebel and the prophets of Baal – what victory! and then, suddenly, poor Elijah, tired and exhausted, fled for his life . He felt dejected, fearful and depressed and he even prayed to die! He suffered a spiritual collapse, but God came to his help and delivered him and here is the promise for you – look up Isaiah 41:10.
Make Sure You Are A True Born
Deliverance from demons is only available for Christians. Demons are cast out of a person by the Word of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit. If you are not a true, born-again Christian, then you will not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of you. And if you do not have the Holy Spirit on the inside of you, then you will not have His power available to you to cast out the demons.

Basic General Rules To Follow
This deliverance system should be looked upon as a rough, basic outline. Once you start doing deliverances with demons, you will find out very quickly that there are two basic rules that you will have to abide by with the Lord:
The basic outline I will give you below will give you a very good way to start so you can get your feet wet with all of this. This system will probably work on most of the demon cases that God will bring your way.
But just realize that there are harder types of cases out there, and that you will really need to be guided by the Holy Spirit if any of those harder types of cases ever come your way.
Before I get into the main steps on doing an inside deliverance, here are 11 basic general rules that you will need to abide by with the Lord before setting someone up for an actual deliverance with the Lord.
The Battle Prayer In Its Entirety
Since the above battle prayer was broken up in the different sections I was covering, I will go ahead and put all of the above battle prayer in its complete entirety from start to finish under this caption so you can see exactly how all of it will fit and flow together.
You can also cut and paste this battle prayer into a word document, and then adjust as much of the wording as you want to fit the specific situation that you are dealing with on your end.

Specific Things To Note In The Battle Prayer
Since many people would be afraid to try and directly engage with their demons, please note the following that was put into the actual battle prayer itself. If you add these additional steps into the battle prayer itself, you will severely weaken the demons and take away any ability they may have to try and attack you direct once you start up the deliverance.
So people would not be afraid to try and do this on their own, I put these extra steps into the actual battle prayer itself so you will be fully protected from the demons once you start up the actual deliverance.
The Setting For The Deliverance
Be led by the Lord as to where He will want the deliverance to take place. It can take place in a church, in your home, in the demonized persons home, or in your office if you have that kind of private space available.
Also make sure to have a box of tissues, a waste bucket, and a dry towel nearby for the person. Sometimes the person may start crying if they have to relive certain painful events from their past. You will need a box of tissues just in case the person will start crying.
You will also want the waste bucket nearby in case the demons leave out of the persons mouth. Sometimes the person can literally vomit as the demons are being expelled out of them.
Most of the times this will not happen, but sometimes it does. So it would be wise to have this nearby just in case this kind of a manifestation does occur at the moment they are being cast out of the person.
You may also want to have some water and snacks available if you think the deliverance may take some time to get fully accomplished. Dont be afraid to take some breaks from time to time so every one can rest and recharge their batteries. This kind of work can be draining, so do not be afraid to take some timeouts when you think they will be needed.
Also make sure there is a restroom available for everyone and make sure that you watch the person who is being delivered when they have to use the restroom if you think the demons may try and act up with them.

We Need Deliverance From Sudden Temptation: The Illustration Of This Is In Genesis 3: 1
We know what its like to be faced with sudden temptation, though possibly not the kind that threatened Joseph. Study Genesis 39 carefully, and notice the terrible temptation which came to him and the courageous way he overcame then notice how the whole situation was aggravated and finally, notice the word but in verse 21, and the words that follow on into verse 23. So there is deliverance for the child of God in times of sudden temptation, and here is the promise for you – look up 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Do Not Try And Cast Out Alters
If by chance the person you are working with has had severe abuse and trauma in their backgrounds, and part of the core of their personality has split off into several different alters in order to help them survive all of their past abuse, DO NOT try and cast out these alters like you will be doing with the demons.
After the person has been fully delivered from the demons, God will then have to merge and integrate the alters back into the core of the persons real personality. This will all be done through a process of inner healing by the Lord that will gradually take place after the deliverance has been fully completed.
If you try and cast out those alters like you will be doing with the demons, you could cause serious damage to the persons psyche, as these alters have been Gods way of allowing the core of that persons personality to remain intact, and to be able to withstand the more extreme type of abuse and trauma they have had to endure over the years.
If you try and cast out those alters, you could further damage and fragment the core personality even more.
When the core personality splits off and fragments into these different alters, this is actually a self-defense type mechanism that God has placed into our systems so we can withstand some of the more brutal and violent types of abuse that can be inflicted upon us.
Another way to look at this is that the person will disassociate once they start to go through any type of severe trauma and abuse.
