Some people read the Bible as just a storybook or something thats only relevant to Christians. Others see it as a way to find answers to their most pressing questions and problems. And still others believe its a historical document that can be used as evidence for certain truths about history.

Our Thoughts On Whats In The Bible
Sadly, the boys are NOT as enthusiastic about this series as they are for most VeggieTales weve seen. I think the different format just did not resonate well with them compared to a story format. However, I did like that the focus is more on talking about what youll find in the particular books of the Bible rather than just adapting something to a story. This particular volume presents a very quick overview of all the Bible at the end of the Revelation segment, too. I also liked that the General Epistles and Revelation were presented as 2 episodes with the ability to select the one you want to watch.
In my initial viewing of this program, I did not see anything blatantly anti-Catholic presented. Instead, I liked one statement made by Mr. Vischer alluding to the fact that we are saved by Grace and then called to become more like Christ through how we live our lives. Basically, we cant do anything to earn salvation, but we are expected to do good works as part of our Christian lives. And, I find that to fit quite well with what our family believes.
