What Does Bible Say About Vaccines

Misusing The Bible Against Vaccination

Scientist says a coronavirus vaccine in just 12 months is ‘fake news’ | 60 Minutes Australia

Most of the emails and phone calls that I have gotten since I stated that the Constitution permits safe mandatory vaccination against highly contagious and lethal diseases have been from anti-vaxxers who claim the authority of the Bible. Have they actually read the Bible? Of course, the Bible says nothing about vaccinations: they were not even imagined at the time, but the Bible speaks volumes about the need to prevent the spread of contagious diseases. Large sections of the Bible deal with diagnosing contagious diseases such as leprosy and quarantining carriers outside the city walls until they were no longer contagious. The Bible also demands that we choose life over convenience, money or other values.

To be sure, no one should be compelled to take a vaccine that has not been proven safe and effective. But once a vaccine meets those demanding standards, religion should be on the side of saving lives not risking them. At the very least, the Bible and God should not be cited against these life-saving measures. Anti-vaxxers are free to cite science, philosophy, law but do not miscite the Bible or God. It is irreligious and insults the intelligence of those who have actually studied the Bible by assuming, as many do, that the Bible opposes everything they oppose.

What Does The Bible Say About Coronavirus And Covid

Although the coronavirus is not mentioned by name in the Bible, some Christians have claimed online there are prophetic passages and messages that can be linked to the pandemic.

A commonly mentioned passage is Matthew 24.

The scripture reads: For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginnings of sorrows.

The passage is attributed to Jesus Christ who told his followers what to expect before his second coming.

A similar account of Jesus teaching is found in Luke 21.

The passage reads: Then he said unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: Abd great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my names sake.

A passage in 2 Chronicles 7 also warns of plague: If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from the wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The Bible will tell you more on this subject.

Be Filled With The Blood Of Jesus

Literally, by believing and praying so , we will be filled with The Blood of Jesus Christ The Son of God! By faith and prayer, we have The PRECIOUS Blood of Christ circulating in our body, yes, The Blood of Jesus effectively working in our whole spirit, soul and body, for The Blood is the core of The Word of God, .

Thus, Paul caught this BIG revelation, always carrying about in the body The Dying of The LORD Jesus , that The Life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. .

I have been praying 2 Corinthians 4:10 and related Scriptures for some years now. Then sometime ago, while I was meditating on that Scripture, The Holy Spirit suddenly said: That Scripture is about The Circulation of The Blood of Jesus.

I thought it further. It is indeed! For It says always carrying about in the body The Dying of The LORD Jesus, that The Life of Jesus also be manifested in our body. The life of the flesh is in the blood, .

Therefore, as we circulate The Blood of Jesus in our body by praying so always and by taking The Communion, His very Life is manifested in our body.

Oh, that youll catch this revelation and run with it!

When you believe it with the heart and confess it with the mouth , you will be always carrying about in the body The PRECIOUS Blood of Christ, that The Life of Jesus also be manifested, revealed, effected in your body!

The Life of Jesus is in His PRECIOUS Blood. Get The Life! Get The Life of Jesus, by His Blood in your body; your whole spirit, soul and body.

We Should Think Generously Of Our Government And Health Professionals

Our government, at every level, will often make decisions we disagree with. However, on the whole, we can be thankful that our government is trying to do the best it can. Romans says: For the one in authority is Gods servant for your good . Our government is there to do good, and, for the most part, it is actually doing good as it does the difficult task of managing Covid-19.

Likewise, our health professionals, many of whom are Christians, are trying to do the best they can for the population. It is wise for us to respect their expertise, even if we disagree with some of the things they do.

Is The Coronavirus Pandemic A Sign Of The End

God made immune systems, why do we need vaccines ...

7Teacher, they asked, when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to take place?8 He replied, Dont let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, I am the Messiah, and saying, The time has come! But dont believe them.9And when you hear of wars and insurrections, dont panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end wont follow immediately.10 Then he added, Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.11There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.

However, Jesus made it clear that we cannot know when the end will come ” rel=”nofollow”>Matthew 24:27, , ).

Since Jesus spoke those words 2000 years ago, there have been many plagues that killed large numbers of people. The bubonic plague in the 1300’s A.D. killed about a quarter of the world’s population. Also since Jesus spoke those words, thousands of people have compared current events to Bible prophecies and predicted the end was near. They have all been wrong. So, as Jesus said, there is no good reason to believe anyone who predicts the end is near.

Psalm 91 Is More Literary Than It Is Magical

The entire psalm has a well-designed symmetrical use of poetic devices. Figure 2 shows how verses 12, 1416 are direct speeches; verses 26 and 1113 employ various metaphors; and verses 710 emphasize that no dangers will draw near Gods people. The last three verses are the highlight of the psalm. They are Gods own confession consisting of seven I will verbs. As a whole, the psalm highlights two main points from the two halves respectively: what happens to those who trust and dwell in God? And why and how do these things happen?

So no, obviously, the Bible doesnt say protecting your nose from a virus is a sin. But the cultural narrative that makes that argument appealing to a fringe few is no laughing matter. Instead of trying to use religion to avoid a commonsense scientific solution to a deadly pandemic, I hope religious Americans can instead focus on how we can protect one another and save lives. Because the Bible does have a lot to say about that.

What Are Vaccines Vaccinations And Immunizations

A vaccine is created from the same germs that cause disease, using extremely small amounts of weak or dead microbes such as viruses, bacteria, or toxins. A vaccine stimulates your immune system to produce antibodies, exactly as it would if you were exposed to the disease. After getting vaccinated, you develop immunity to that disease, without having to get the disease first.

Vaccination is the act of getting a vaccine, usually as a shot, while immunization is the process of becoming immune to a disease.

The Philistines captured the Ark and sent it to Ashdod instead of returning it to Israel. God taught them a lesson by sending them rats and hemorrhoids! .

But Jesus reconciled us to God by His death on the cross. He has made us holy:

Colossians 1:20-22Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christs physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

Should I Wear A Mask Should I Be Vaccinated

Yes! and Yes!

Even young and healthy people can be infected with COVID-19. There may be minimal or no symptoms. But they can still infect other people nearby, including people in high-risk categories. Wearing a mask in public and getting vaccinated helps to protect you, and also helps to protect other people who might get very sick or die from COVID-19.1,2

Jesus taught that one of the most important of all commandments is, “Love your neighbor as yourself” ” rel=”nofollow”>Matthew 22:34-40, , , ). Christian love requires that we do whatever we can to care for and protect other people. What could be more loving than wearing a mask and getting vaccinated to prevent accidentally infecting other people with a disease that could make them very sick or even kill them? ” rel=”nofollow”>Romans 13:10)

Pranksters, mischief-makers, and attention-seekers have made up many untrue and even silly scare stories about the COVID-19 vaccines. Those untrue stories have been widely circulated on social media. Some have been repeated by large media outlets. But, in reality, there is nothing sinister about the COVID-19 vaccines. They are similar to the vaccines most of us had as children or have taken as adults without any controversy .3

The COVID-19 vaccines are recommended by all major health organizations. All major Christian denominations also recommend vaccination.

Is Vaccination The Answer To Prayers About The Pandemic

In times past, terrible diseases like smallpox, polio, tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough maimed and killed many people. The answer to prayers for an end to those diseases came in the form of the vaccines that have now controlled or eliminated those diseases as major threats.5

We now have vaccines that have the ability to put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic and let us return to life as normal. But vaccines can only control the spread of diseases if a high percentage of people are vaccinated.6

Doubts and fears caused by the barrage of malicious misinformation on social media are causing many people to avoid vaccination. But putting a quick end to the COVID-19 pandemic requires us all to work together for the common good and get vaccinated as soon as possible.

What About Vaccines Made From Aborted Fetal Tissue

There are currently no vaccines created by using cells directly taken from the bodies of aborted fetuses. However, there are some vaccines created from cell lines that were derived from tissue taken from aborted fetuses from the 1960s. As the National Catholic Bioethics Center explains:

Any product grown in these or other cell lines derived from abortions, therefore, has a distant association with abortion. The cells in these lines have gone through multiple divisions before they are used in vaccine manufacture. After manufacture, the vaccines are removed from the cell lines and purified. One cannot accurately say that the vaccines contain any of the cells from the original abortion.

The key consideration in whether using currently available vaccines is licit or immoral is whether there is material cooperation with the evil act of abortion. If the abortion were conducted in order to harvest tissues that were to be used for the vaccine, then it would clearly be immoral. But in the case of the vaccines created from the cell lines listed above, the abortion was carried out for other reasons, and the tissue was acquired post-mortem for the purpose medical research.

A Warning To Christian Pastors

Vaccines are the solution for overpopulation. Jesus would ...

I have to say, someone who teaches that God approves of rulers who murder the unborn, and steal our rights as free people, is slapping God in the face.

Thats perverting the Word of God to drive someones idea of what is right and wrong. It disturbs me greatly that a Christian would distort what God said to fit their ideology.

No Christian should ever, ever do that.

No Christian should ever shame another into believing they must obey an evil government that hates God. If our government loved God, God would be number 1.

Yet, its exactly the opposite.

Easily proven as God has been driven out of our life and government, and replaced with perversion and sin. The government helped make that a reality, rulers like that are not of God, they are not ministers of God.

Your take away, your health, no matter what we are talking about always remains your decision. The Bible does not grant an unrighteous government to make those decisions for you, whether they are mandates or laws.

Now that we understand Christians are not compelled to follow unrighteous rulers

Patiently Ask God For Wisdom

Dont be foolish. God can show you a specific plan to follow during this time.

Dont try to squirm out of your problems. For when your patience is finally in full bloom, then you will be ready for anything, strong in character, full and complete.

James 1:4-6 TLBIf you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.

Should Christians Get The Covid 19 Vaccine

Its time to put fear to the side.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been genuinely terrifying, particularly for those who fall into the high-risk category or who have loved ones who do. A recently published NBC News article shared that the U.S. surpassed 400,000 COVID-19 deaths nearly one year after the nations first confirmed case. Now, as several vaccines for the general population have been released, there is hope for many Americans. Scientists say if enough people are vaccinated, there will be nowhere for the virus to go, and there will be few susceptible hosts left to infect. This is a way to achieve herd immunity without losing even more lives in the process.

While viruses are created to protect our health, a number of Christians have been against COVID-19 vaccinations. Two groups that have been particularly hesitant about getting vaccinated are white evangelicals and Black Protestants, though both groups are skeptical for different reasons.

Some evangelical Christians have subscribed to myths about the COVID-19 vaccine and the pandemic. Many of these same people have fueled misinformation campaigns and promoted conspiracy theories. Some critics have accused right-wing fundamentalist pastors of perpetuating baseless theories that are encouraging their congregants to ignore public health information. This includes unfounded theories like the vaccine is the mark of the beast and could even cause sterilization in women.

The first part of his argument is a dangerous but common form of Christian nationalism; the second is a core tenet of both the Jewish and Christian religions. What Does The Bible Say About Vaccines Biblical Arguments Against Vaccination

Covid-19: why vaccine mistrust is growing | The Economist

Arent vaccines saving lives? We are only using the wisdom God has given us, right?

The Bible contains stories showing how Gods people relied on their own wisdom to do what was good in their own eyes, only to find out they hadnt asked their Heavenly Father what He thought.

The golden calf , King David , and King Solomon come to mind. But vaccines? Where does it talk about that?

Lets explore some verses that may bolster the arguments against vaccination for Christians.

Why Should You Believe In The Precious Blood Of Christ And How Do You Use The Blood

  • The Blood is the ONLY PERFECT solution for all problems of mankind. It is The Fathers ONLY provision for Salvation and things that accompany Salvation, .
  • Only The Blood of Jesus Christ truly heals: our whole spirit, soul and body.
  • Pharmacy is from the Greek word phamakea, which means sorcery; witchcraft.

In these last days, both medical and recreational drugs will be used by Satan to bewitch many into destruction.

Much of medical practice is by the evil wisdom of a powerful demon called asclepius whose a snake/ snakes on a pole symbol doctors use.

Indeed, pharmaceutical and medical solutions are at the core of the offering of the mark of the beast.

Those who put their faith in pharmaceutical and medical solutions will easily be eventually bewitched and deceived to take the mark!

Be WARNED now! And take heed that you are not deceived.

You see, as The LORD Jesus Christ has told us in advance, there will soon be more pestilences. And eventually, the mark of the beast will be offered as an all-in-one protection from them, among other promises of deception by Satan to destroy the receivers in hell.

Vaccinations will get people conditioned and brainwashed to accept the mark of the beast when it is eventually introduced. For the mark will be offered as a composite solution for health protection and enhancement, transactions convenience/necessity, mental prowess and performance, long-life, etc.

  • The Blood of Jesus sets free and makes whole.
