The Meaning Of Baptism:
Baptism is a public confession of faith in Christ, done in obedience to His command, and as such is a picture of what salvation means. Do Christians Need To Be Baptized
Our Savior commands us to follow His example in all things, including baptism: Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” At the beginning of His public ministry, Jesus chose to be baptized. John the Baptist was calling the Jewish people to confess their sins and demonstrate repentance through immersion in the Jordan River. The Importance Of Baptism
First thing to note above is that the Messiah himself was baptized with water.
I put water in quotations, because there are some that say that there is no need for a water baptism.
Their argument is that the Messiah now baptizes us with the Holy Spirit.
This is contary to what we are told in the scriptures, because as followers of the Messiah we are supposed to do what the Messiah done.
Keep in mind that John the baptist also thought that it wasnt his place to baptize the Messiah, but the Messiah urged him to do it. .
Ask your self, if theres anybody that doesnt need to be baptized wouldnt it be the Messiah himself?

The Messiah himself didnt baptize any body, but he did encourage his disciples to do so

How Is The Holy Spirit Represented
The representation of the Holy Spirit is not seriously important, but it does need to be explained, to help you avoid doctrines that may be created around this topic.
We see in a physical representation of the Holy Spirit as a Dove in many places in the world, so lets see if this has any biblical credence:
Matthew 3:16
16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Above we see the baptism of the Messiah. And we are told that Spirit was descending like a dove upon him.
This is where the representation of a dove as the Holy Spirit comes from, so it does have some biblical credence.
It is important though to note, that were only told the Spirit descended like a Dove, and that were never told it is a Dove.
The scripture could easily have said it descended like an Eagle.
This is important, because the Holy Spirit is just what its name suggest, which is, a Spirit and we all have access to it.
Is Being Baptized Twice A Sin
Generally, being baptized twice is not a sin, but it can be a sin if it is done in unbelief. For example, if you get baptized multiple times because you are not sure the first one cleansed you enough, then that would be a sin. But if you are baptized twice due to the fact that you didnt have sincere repentance the first time, then, of course, this is not a sin.
Im not sure if you noticed by now, but water baptism is all about sincere repentance. If there is no sincere repentance the first time someone gets baptized, then the person should get baptized again as soon as they have true repentance.
Of course, this is not a sin. Having a desire to be right with God is not evil in any way!
However, if someone has a sincere desire for God but they are continually getting rebaptized because they feel as though the first, second, and third one wasnt effective, then this would be a sin.
The reason being is it is not done in faith and everything that is not of faith is sin .
The Bible consistently shows us that baptism is a one-time event, except for certain exceptions. So if someone is getting baptized over and over again just cause they feel like it, then this is a person who is walking in unbelief to Gods Word.
Their sin is not the multiple baptisms, but rather the unbelief that is causing them to be rebaptized.
So, if you have been baptized on your own faith, and you had sincere repentance, your baptism was valid and you do not need to be rebaptized.

The Fruit Of The Holy Spirit
When you recieve the Holy Spirit there are some beautiful characteristics that come with it. The scriptures call them Fruit.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

John 7:38
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
The fruit of the Spirit are all things people search for their whole life and never find. But were given them when we believe in the Messiahs death and resurrection.
James 4:5-6
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
The scripture above explains this very point. Here we are told that the spirit the Most High gave us is naturally envious, i.e. lusteth to envy.
It is the Most High that gives us grace . This grace is the Holy Spirit.
