Will God Protect His Children Through The Seven Last Plagues

This answer is also available in:

Many Bible teachers mistakenly teach that the Church will not go through the last seven plagues but will be raptured to heaven. The Bible teaches that Gods Church will surely be here during the last plagues, but the good news is that His people will be divinely protected from them. Lets examine the Bible:

The plagues will fall only on those who receive the , not on those who dont .

The plagues are called the wrath of God , and the wrath of God falls only on the disobedient, not the obedient .

The final plagues are called the seven last plagues which are similar to the ten plagues that fell upon Egypt during the time of Moses. During each of those earlier plagues, Gods people remained right in the midst of Egypt , yet they were divinely protected.

Notice how the Lord fully protected the Israelites during the plagues:

And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the land. I will make a difference between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be

So the LORD did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died .

Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail .

To Some Zionist Christians And Jews The Bible Says Jerusalem Is Israel’s Capital

President Trump announced Wednesday that the U.S. views Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a controversial move that complicates Middle East politics.

Those Jews and evangelical Christians who say an undivided Jerusalem should be the eternal capital of Israel have a ready answer for anyone who questions that claim: The Bible says so.

The most often-cited text is 2 Chronicles 6:5-6, wherein King Solomon quotes God as saying, “Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city in all the tribes of Israel in which to build a house, that my name might be there, and I chose no man as prince over my people Israel;but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.”

The Bible could hardly be more clear, it would seem.

“As far as God is concerned, Jerusalem has been the eternal, undivided capital since the reign of David,” said Laurie Cardoza-Moore, whose television program, Focus on Israel, is aimed primarily at evangelical Christians like herself who see the Bible as “true and historically accurate.” God, she said, “established the boundaries of all the nations, and he chose the city of Jerusalem for himself.”

What About The Lost 10 Tribes Of Israel

Perhaps you have heard about the lost 10 tribes of Israel which were separated from Judah when the Northern Kingdom was taken into captivity by the Assyrians .; The fact is that nothing is lost to God.; They are lost to history perhaps, but to God, never!; Revelation 7:4-8 says that these tribes are not lost if God knows where they are:

Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed,;from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, from the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000, from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000, from the tribe of Zebulon 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

Why Stand With Israel Today

Does The Bible Really Say That The Antichrist Will Make A ...

Israel is a land about which God says uniquely, prophetically, redemptively, and repeatedly in the Bible This is Mine. God refers to Israel as He does to no other land on Earth. Israel was raised up to be a light to the Gentiles.

The Church at its inception was virtually entirely Jewish, and it remained so until the Gospel began to spread. Ultimately the Gospel spread to Antioch, where the first Gentile congregation began, the base from which the Gospel spread into all the world.

In the book of Romans, chapters 9 through 11, the apostle Paul deals with the question of the Jews in Gods providence and purpose. Within the whole of the Bible, these three chapters virtually stand alone as an elaboration of the theology of Gods dealing with Jews.

The Jews were the firstfruitthe first people to understand a covenant God. They then relayed the riches of that truth to the world, and through their agency, the Messiah came into the world.

The Word of God calls Jews the root and Gentiles the branches. Were reminded that while because of unbelief, some of them were broken off and you stand by faith, we are not to become haughty but to fear: For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. When the fullness of the Gentiles is completed, all Israel will be saved.;

So why stand with Israel today?

Five Bible Texts About Gods Protection Of Israel

The last few months we were startled by several missile and terror attacks in Israel. Unfortunately there were casualties.

God promises in His Word that He will protect Israel, the apple of His eye. We give you five Bible texts that underline this.

Deuteronomy 32:11-12Like an eagle that stirs up its nest and hovers over its young, that spreads its wings to catch them and carries them aloft. The Lord alone led him; no foreign god was with him.

Deuteronomy 33:29Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.

Isaiah 46:4bI have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain;you and I will rescue you.

Psalm 121:4-5; 7

Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you the Lord is your shade at your right hand. The Lord will keep you from all harm he will watch over your life.

What is Israels hope? My hope is in you. David writes in Psalm 39. Prayer point for us: that all Israel may place her hope on the Lord!

God Promises Abraham Land

The first part of Gods promise to Abraham was land. Today the land is called Israel. This promise is repeated in Genesis 15:18-21 and 17:8. Exodus 23:28-31 describes the boundary of the land as extending from the Red Sea to the wilderness of the Euphrates River. A more detailed description of the Promised Land is given in Numbers 34:1-13.

The Prophecy Of Israels Miraculous Restoration

After centuries in exile, God once again brought His people back into their land. In my estimation the most amazing thing that has happened in recent history has not been the end of World War II or placing a man on the moon, but the day when Israel was reborn, reconstituted as a nation.

Through the prophet Amos, God said,

And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the way cities, and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards and drink the wine thereof; and they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God.

God says, I’ll bring them back and plant them there, and no one will uproot them. God has brought them back to stay, regardless of what anyone says about it.

Why We Should Pray For Israel

What does the Bible Say – About Israel

There are dozens of Scriptures where God says that we should pray for the peace of Israel.; In Psalm 122:6 it says, Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.; Not only does this say that we should pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and by extension, Israel, we read that those who love you be secure.; This is a clear signal that God would be pleased that we pray for Israels peace and safety because God is not giving up on Israel .

In the New Testament, Paul prayed for Israels salvation, saying, Brothers and sisters, my hearts desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved .; If Paul is telling the church that his hearts desire is to pray for Israel and that they may be saved that should clearly be our prayer for them also.; Believers today are grafted into the natural olive tree described as ethnic Israel for we are fellow citizens with Gods people and also members of his household .; Romans 11:24 is clear about this: After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

How Do We Know That God Protects The Nation Of Israel

We know from several standpoints:

1. Biblical Promises

First, the God of Israel promises protection for His chosen people:

I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you

Whoever assails you will fall no weapon that is formed against you will prosper

I will be a wall of fire around her he who touches you, touches the apple of the LORDs eye

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you

Those who strive with you shall perish

2. Historic Examples of Israels Protection

Secondly, there are well-known examples of Gods intervention on behalf of His people:

  • When the Egyptian army pursued the Israelites during the Exodus, God slowed them by removing their chariot wheels, and drowned them as the parted waters returned
  • In the fifth century BC a number of Jews were still in Babylon under Persian rule. God used a brave Jewess, Queen Esther, to prevent the killing of Jews, both young and old
  • God promised Joshua that, when the Israelite armies marched around Jericho seven times, blew their trumpets and shouted loudly, then Jericho would be given into their hands. When they did this the city walls fell flat
  • When five kings went up with their armies and made war against the men of Gibeon, the LORD said to Joshua do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand. The armies fled, struck down by large hailstones. And the sun stood still until Israel had revenge on their enemies

Jerusalem: Capital City Of The King Of Kings

After Jesus puts down all who fight against Him at His return, He is going to establish the Kingdom of God here on earth. The Bible reveals that Jerusalem will be His capital city, and Gods laws and justice will flow out from it.

The gospel of the coming Kingdom of God is the message Jesus came preaching . When this Kingdom is established, Jesus will rule over the entire earth as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS .

Jesus is prophesied to rule over this Kingdom. During the first 1,000 years, the earth will become abundantly productive, nations will be at peace, and all humans will have the opportunity to understand and accept Gods way of life, which will lead to eternal life as members of Gods family.

Here is how the prophet Isaiah describes this coming Kingdom: Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORDs house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.;

Many people shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.;

He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore .

Treat Foreigners Or Refugees As Citizens And With Love

What does the Bible say about a Christian serving in the ...

The foreigners residing among you must be treated as native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.Leviticus 19:34

Most Christians are aware of Jesus instruction to love your neighbor as yourself, but may not be as familiar with the law of Moses that has the same instruction for treating foreigners. The instruction to treat them as native-born would have been shocking to people in Moses day.

Refugees then and now can end up living elsewhere for a short time or for many years. Of the 25.4 million refugees in the world today, more than 14 million have been out of their country for more than five years. Of these, 3.5 million have been refugees between 10 and 37 years. And another 3 million have been displaced for 37-plus years thats a lifetime! This instruction in Leviticus is especially helpful when people end up staying for years as refugees or migrants.

God has set a high standard for treating those who are foreigners. His people are to love them like we love ourselves and to treat them as citizens. And the reason given? Because God the I am commanded us to.

It will be rebuilt with a boundary line running from Hananel Tower to Corner Gate. 39;From there, the boundary will go in a straight line to Gareb Hill, then turn toward Goah. 40;Even that disgusting Hinnom Valley will be sacred to me, and so will the eastern slopes that go down from Horse Gate into Kidron Valley.
