The Eagle Analogy And Our Christian Walk

BIBLICAL MEANING OF EAGLES IN DREAMS – Evangelist Joshua Orekhie

Another very powerful analogy that the Lord has hidden back in His Word in the Old Testament is what I call the eagle analogy. Here is the verse where this specific analogy is being given to us by the Lord:

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

The two key words in this verse are that we will mount up with wings like eagles. The Original King James Version uses the words as eagles.

I believe God is trying to tell us something when He compares all of us to eagles in this particular verse. I remember when I first saw this verse years ago, it really jumped off the page at me.

Several years ago, I did a study of eagles and their personality traits to see if there were any personality traits that were inherent in the eagle that God wanted us to have with Him.

After finding out exactly what personality traits eagles do have, I came to the conclusion that God was definitely trying to convey some additional knowledge to all of us as to what additional qualities He would like all of us to have worked into our personalities.

The other thing I noticed, starting about 10-15 years ago, is that there were a lot of eagle pictures and eagle statues in many of the Christian bookstores, with all of them coming off the above verse.

I believe this analogy to be an extremely powerful and profound analogy, and that it fully applies to each and every Christian.

Eagles Are Considered Majestic

Due to the way eagles look and act, many people consider them almost majestic and invincible. They seem to have a look of royalty about them.

In the same way, we, as Christians, have this same air of royalty about us since we are now considered kings and priests of the Lord due to the sacrifice that Jesus has personally made for all of us with His death on the cross.

This majestic royalty that we now have operating through us all comes direct from Jesus. It does not come directly from us, or any of the good works that we may have done to-date for the Lord. It all comes to us as a direct result of Jesus dying on the cross for all of our sins.

Only the blood that Jesus has personally shed for each one of us on the cross is what makes us kings and priests before Him, lest we all get puffed up with our own pride and arrogance, thinking this was all of our own doing and making.

Symbolizing Swiftness In Scripture:

Deuteronomy 28:49The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth,as swift as the eagle flieth a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand 2 Samuel 1:23Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives, and in their death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions.Jeremiah 4:13Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind:his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.Lamentations 4:19Our persecutors are swifter than the eagles of the heaven: they pursued us upon the mountains, they laid wait for us in the wilderness.Habakkuk 1:8Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat.Job 9:25-26Nowmy days are swifter than a post: they flee away, they see no good. 26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.

1 Corinthians 15:52- harpazoIn a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

The Eagle: A Living Creature Before The Lord

Isaiah 6 shows how the ministry of Isaiah began. He saw and heard things that made the poor man tremble in soul and body. He saw the Lord, but I want you to see who else he saw and heard and what they did, or do, In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts the whole earth is full of His glory! And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke .

Here the seraphim have one job: Proclaim the holiness of God and announce that the earth is full of His glory.

They are next to the Lord.

They are the ones who told Isaiah whom he saw and by extension, who we are reading about.

There is another time when the seraphim show and announce the Lord.

The whole chapter shows the work of the four living creatures, who carry about the Lord Himself throughout the earth.

Problem Of Identifying The Species In The Bible

Isaiah 40:31 Wings Like Eagles

Whether you read the Bible in Hebrew, or in any of its many translations, we have a big issue with identifying what is the animal, the bird or the flower that the Bible call by name.

There are three reasons to this problem.

First, in ancient times, the science of systematics and taxonomy did not exist. People called an animal or a bird by different names in different places. Moreover, they sometimes called different species with the same general name. So a name of animal in the Bible does not necessarily be an exact name of one specific animal or bird.

Second, after the Jews were sent to exile, they did not know all the natural animals of Israel anymore, and knew better the animals in their new countries. So even if they continued to read the Bible in Hebrew, they lost the relation to the original animal that their forefathers knew very well.

Third, when the Bible was translated to many languages, first Aramaic and Greek, then Latin, and from the 16th century to all other European languages, the translators translated the names of animals and birds to species that they knew in their own homelands. They didnt always know the original animal.

The Wings Of The Great Eagle Revelation 1: 14

Robert R. McLaughlin Bible MinistriesThe Tree of Life is a weekly teaching summary. The Tree of Life for week ending 01/18/04The Wings of the Great EagleRevelation 12:14

After studying the reasons for the Jewish holocausts, we now see the deliverance of born-again Jews in the first half of the Tribulation, Revelation 12:14> REV 12:14, And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman , in order that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.

This part of the Tribulation period is a time of great historical disaster. In historical disaster, most people assume that all opportunity is gone, but, for the believer, the opportunity and spiritual impact are even greater during these times. In difficult times we can reveal to others the power of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do not need historical prosperity for Christian blessing. Our stability lies in the One who has everything under control, Isa 33:5-6, The Lord is exalted, for He dwells on high He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He shall be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation or deliverance, a wealth of wisdom, and knowledge respect for Jehovah is his treasure.

The Prophet And The Eagle

What do you think?

The statements by William Branham included in these articles are so strong, they force you to make a conclusion.

Will you accept William Branham’s statements and conclude that he was God himself – greater than Jesus, equal to the Holy Spirit, infallible, and above reproach?

Or will you conclude that William Branahm was delusional.

There is no middle ground, because to compromise these statements requires you to deny William Branham’s own words. It’s time to choose: is William Branham’s word Infallible, or was his message fallible?

Lion With Eagles Wings The Scriptural View

People often ask, Who is the Lion with Eagles Wings?

Here is the Bibles quick answer: The first of Four Symbolic Beasts in Daniel 7, the Lion with Eagles Wings, who stands on the feet of a man and is given a mans heart, began as a symbolic representation of a real earthly kingdom that spanned the time frame between Cyrus of Persia to the coming of Christ, ending with the rise of the Roman Empire. The Six Beasts of both Daniel 7 and 8 establish a succession of significant world powers that trace real events in Earths experience, transitioning from history into the present day and, going even beyond that, into our future.

The Lion represents the Tribe of Judah finding its autonomy after the Babylonian Captivity. It then reached its ultimate destiny when it transformed into a Man, rose to its feet and became Christ Jesus, Israels Messiah, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, the Branch of Jesse, the Desire of Nations, the Bright and Morning Star, the King of Glory, ImmanuelGOD WITH US!

This symbolic Lion is found in Daniel 7:4, which says:

The first was like a lion, and had eagles wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a mans heart was given to it. Daniel 7:4

A Story About Two Eagles And A Vine

31 Bible Verses About Eagles [EAGLES IN THE BIBLE] | Just Bible Verses

17 The Lord said:

2 Ezekiel, son of man, tell the people of Israel the following story, 3 so they will understand what I am saying to them:

A large eagle with strong wings and beautiful feathers once flew to Lebanon. It broke the top branch off a cedar tree, 4 then carried it to a nation of merchants and left it in one of their cities. 5 The eagle also took seed from Israel and planted it in a fertile field with plenty of water, like a willow tree beside a stream.6 The seed sprouted and grew into a grapevine that spread over the ground. It had lots of leaves and strong, deep roots, and its branches grew upward toward the eagle.

7 There was another eagle with strong wings and thick feathers. The roots and branches of the grapevine soon turned toward this eagle, hoping it would bring water for the soil. 8 But the vine was already growing in fertile soil, where there was plenty of water to produce healthy leaves and large grapes.

9 Now tell me, Ezekiel, do you think this grapevine will live? Or will the first eagle pull it up by its roots and pluck off the grapes and let its new leaves die? The eagle could easily kill it without the help of a large and powerful army. 10 The grapevine is strong and healthy, but as soon as the scorching desert wind blows, it will quickly wither.

The Eagle Can Fly Long Distances And Up To Very High Places:

  • The Lord will bring a nation against you from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies
  • But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

The Bible Book Of Revelations: Bear And Eagle Prophecy Update 12

UPDATE: 12-3-20 5:40 p.m. NEW VISION POSTED WITH DATE BELOW

Helpful hint: Stand back from the screen about 5 feet and walk left and right to see dimensions.

Usually when people view this picture they see the Eagle right away. The red arrow is pointing to the back of the Eagles head. The bears head is almost like a dark shadow below the Eagles beak. The Bear is being pointed out by a blue arrow and is facing left. The Dragon overlaps the Bears face right next to the Bears ear. The wing of the Dragon is over the Bears back. There are two yellow arrows pointing at the Dragon. One is at the top of the Dragons head and the Dragon is facing left. The other arrow is over the Dragons wing.

According to Nostradamus, the Bear and Eagle Prophecy is the prediction of World War lll. The Bald Eagle represents The United States the Bear represents Russia, and the Dragon represents China.

My interpretation of the present picture is that the United States is watching them very closely. Russia and China appear to be on the same side and the Dragon appears to be in front of the decisions going on.

The crazy part of being given visions such as these is I am at a bouncy house. My guides will grab my attention whenever they see fit. It does not matter what I am doing. Again, I am only a human who just basically woke up one day with an extraordinary gift.

Will The United States Vanish From Its Position Of World Dominance Between Now And The Time Of The End

Isaiah 40:31 Wings Like Eagles

Do the eagles wings split off from the world government and stand in opposition to it in support of Israel? We cant say conclusively from scripture exactly what path the U.S. ultimately takes.

There is no doubt that the eagles wings in Daniel 7 is the U.S. Can we say the same of the eagles wings of Revelation 12:14? No. This scripture is not clear.

There does seem to be reason to believe that the United States may stand with Israel. If this is true, it may also be possible that the U.S. will serve as a center for world evangelism and a harbor of safety from the coming storm.

Since Americas future is not explicitly defined in scripture, we have to believe that the course we take could be altered through the power of prayer.

Where Can We See The Biblical Eagles In Israel

The griffon vulture is an endangered bird.

There are two main places where you can see vultures in their native environment.

  • Gamla in the Golan Heights.
  • Valley of Zin near Ben-Gurion tomb in the Negev.

In Hai-Bar Carmel natural reserve, Near Haifa, bred vultures were introduced back to nature. The vultures can be seen there in cages. This is a special Israeli project that aims to help increasing the vultures population in nature.

Here Is A Simplified Account Of The Bible Meanings Behind The Symbolism Of This Prophetic Lion

These are prophetic events, each one well-developed throughout the Bible and brought to their fulfillment with the Lion becoming Christ.

The transformation of the Nation of Judah into the single person of the Son of God, also tells that the time-frame for the end of this Lion Kingdom comes at the time of Christjust in time for the rise of the next kingdomthe Bear.

  • A mans heart reveals to us the sympathetic bond that Christ has with mankind through His humbled form of humanity. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. Hebrews 4:14-15 2:17
  • This is the picture of the Lion as Daniel saw it in vision: At the end of 70 years, Judah would be rescued from Babylon by God. They would be left one more chance to solve their problems as a nation and stand righteously before Him. When the fullness of time came, Judah would produce the long-promised Messiah in human form. He would be lifted up for our salvation.

And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples unto Myself. John 12:32
