How Do We Allow The Lord To Prepare Your Heart For Marriage

Best Bible Verses About The Art of Waiting and Patience/Be Blessed

We can allow the Lord to prepare our hearts for marriage by spending time with Him in prayer and by reading His Word. We can also look for mentors or older couples who can help us to grow in our understanding of marriage. Its important to remember that God is the one who prepares our hearts and that we cant do it on our own. We need to trust Him, even when we dont have all the answers.

Bible Verses About Waiting For The Right Person

One of the most difficult things any person can do is to wait on Gods promises for their life. We all have our own set of goals, desires, wants, and needs. It is no secret that this waiting game can be exhausting and frustrating at times.

Bible verses about waiting for the right partner are here to encourage you to stay strong in the Lord while you wait for your perfect someone who will love you unconditionally.

The Bible is full of proverbs about waiting for the right person. Proverbs 3:5 says, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.

This verse encourages us to trust Gods plan for our lives instead of trying to take control of things ourselves. We are reminded that God will be faithful to work out everything according to His perfect timing even if it means waiting a long time. After all, He knows what we need better than we do!

Bible Verses That Will Encourage You During Your Waiting Season

It is no secret that waiting on Gods promises for your life is one of the hardest things a person can do. Each person has their own goals, desires, wants, and needs.

When God laid Waiting for your Boaz on my heart, I felt like the main things He wanted me to stress to all of you beautiful women of God is that He has a purpose for your life, He is concerned about each area of your life, He will provide your partner, and He wants to woo and love you first.

In the story of Ruth from the Bible, Ruth wasnt actually waiting, did you know that? She was about her business, caring for her widowed mother-in-law. She clung so tightly to the loyalty of her deceased husband, that she told her mother-in-law, Naomi that she would go wherever she went, stay wherever she stayed, and that her god would even be Ruths god.

While she was collecting Barley and working Boaz noticed her in the field and took interest in her. She continued about her business and worked as Boaz showed her grace and kindness, but she acted when the time was right. She laid at his feet and then later in the story Boaz takes Ruth as his wife and is called the kinsman-redeemer in other words her lover, protector, and partner.

God is a good Father, and He knows exactly what we need, and He is willing to give it to us, but His timing is best. Here are five Bible verses that will encourage you while you are waiting on God:

1. Delight yourself also in the Lord,

And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

What Does The Bible Say About Being Single

As a single woman in the church, its very easy to feel at a disadvantage. With a lot of ministries failing to address singles and undermining their needs, it seems like single people are not valued as much.

The truth is God does not favor married people over singles. But God has equally beautiful promises for single women as well.

The bible encourages men and women to be patient and utilize singleness as a season to pursue their purpose and grow in their faith. In addition, we learn about a number of single women in the Bible, such as Rahab, Esther, or Mary Magdalene, that God uses for his glory.

The Bible calls this season a gift from God in multiple bible verses on singleness. He stresses that a single person is at an advantage because he/she gets to completely devote their life to Christ.

And I know from experience that using your single season to focus on who you are will serve you in the long run. Because once you get into a relationship and forge a soul tie with your future partner you want to make sure you keep God at the center.

However, that does not mean that you have to remain single. Just like Paul sums it up in 1 Corinthians 7, each person has their own gift and calling from God, which may or may not include marriage.

Therefore, if you are contemplating whether God called you to be single, ask yourself what God has called you to do with your life. Will marriage serve to advance His kingdom? Remind yourself of Gods Promises for Single Women.

If Anyone Is Thinking About Dating Did You Talk To God First

Comforting Bible Verses

If you havent consulted God about it that means that you havent asked Him if the person you have met is the person He wants you to marry. Christian dating does not consist of casual dating, which is unbiblical. This type of dating will leave you broken and all over the place and Im not even talking about sex. Non believers date for fun, for the moment, for a good time, for sex, to not be lonely, to impress people, etc.

If you dont think that you are going to marry this person and if you dont feel like God has possibly brought this person into your life for marriage, then stop wasting each others time. A relationship is not something to take lightly. Casual dating is a form of lust. It doesnt always have to be sexual. Lust is always selfish. It is always about I. Lust never seeks the Lord for His will.

Many people think they are in love for reasons such as the persons looks, communication skills, etc. No, did God send you the person? Do you believe God has called you to commit your life to this person in marriage? Falling in love is not in the Bible. True love is built on actions, choices, etc. It proves itself over time.

Many people get into relationships and when they break up they find out that they were not really in love. There are so many things in this world that help you deceive yourself. For example, sex, physical attraction, looking at other couples, constantly listening to love music, fear, constantly watching love movies, etc.

  • Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? Ecclesiastes 4:9-11

The Reason For Christian Breakups

Some of you are in a relationship with the person that God wants you to marry and you will eventually marry. Sometimes Christians get into relationships with Christians and it just doesnt work out. I know it hurts, but God uses this situation to work in a believers life to conform them into the image of His Son and build their faith. God will replace the person He has taken away with someone better. Trust in Him.

How Did God Design Marriage To Be A Blessing For Us

God designed marriage to be a reflection of His own love for us. When we are married, we have the opportunity to experience the love of God in a very tangible way. Marriage is also a place where we can grow and learn about ourselves. We cant expect our spouse to change us, but we can allow the Lord to work in our hearts and prepare us for marriage.

Bible Verses About Finding Love ~ You Will Get Married So Just Relax

Bible verses about finding love: The unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to be holy in body and spirit. But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.

I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:32-35

Remember that being married is hard work. So often times women are in a rush to get married that they do not even enjoy their singleness. In your singleness, you can pretty much do whatever you want, go after whatever you want, and work on yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself in a relationship. When are married your primary concern is your marriage.

Therefore, do not be a rush to go ahead and get married, love will come but enjoy your single time now. Like I always say, become a happy single person and then you can become a happy relationship person.

Bible verses about finding love:And dont be wishing you were someplace else or with someone else. Where you are right now is Gods place for you. Live and obey and love and believe right there. God, not your marital status, defines your life. Dont think Im being harder on you than on the others. 1 Corinthians 7:17
