For over 50 years, music has been a rich part of our heritage at Cherry Street. Our multi-generational choir has been an integral part of the services as they lead our congregation in worship. The choir sings during each Sunday service as well as special concerts and programs throughout the year.

The Bible is the centerpiece of all that is preached and taught at Cherry Street. Our Sunday School classes take a verse by verse approach to discipleship. Each lesson is tailored to an age appropriate application. Life Story / Obituary
Lorena Jayne H. Flieman, age 95, of Holland passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at Resthaven Care Center.
Jayne was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was very involved in the Sunday School class for seniors. Jayne had a love for singing, she was in the church choir and sang many solos.
Jayne was a bus driver for Holland Public Schools for 35 years serving the special needs children and was fluent in sign language. She was a Dutch Dancer at Dutch Village from her youth to in her 80s and was a member of Evergreen Commons.
She had a loving passion for her grandchildren, great grandchildren, church and school kids and all the children that she came in contact with over the years.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Flieman Jr. in 1995, her daughter Kathy Ann Flieman-Castor in 1970, son-in-law Wayne Webb in 2021 and daughter-in-law Roxanne Flieman in 2022.
She is survived by her children: John Flieman of St. Pete Beach, FL Shevonne and Dave Hartfield of Allegan Rylenn and Linda Flieman of West Olive Bob Flieman of Hudsonville Patti Webb of Holland Tom and Bonnie Flieman of Holland Laura and Jerry Norton of Orlando, FL 9 grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren sister: Connie DeHaan of Zeeland many nieces, nephews and cousins
