What We Believe: Articles Of Faith With Proofs

1. We believe in the only true and living God, and that there are three in the Godhead: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

2. We believe that the Scripture of the Old and the New Testaments are the revealed Word of God, and the only rule of faith and practice.

3. We believe in the doctrine of a particular and eternal election.

4. We believe in the doctrine of original sin.

5. We believe in man’s impotency to recover himself from the state he is in by nature by his own free will and ability.

6. We believe that sinners are justified in the sight of God only by the imputed righteousness of Christ.

7. We believe that God’s elect shall be called, regenerated, and sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

8. We believe that the saints of God are saved by grace, by which they are also kept and preserved, and shall not finally fall away, but shall be ready to be revealed at the last time.

9. We believe that baptism and the Lord’s supper are ordinances of Jesus Christ and that feet washing an example given by our Lord and Master and should be kept up and practiced until He comes again.

10. We believe that the bodies of all the children of God that remain at His second coming will be changed in a moment’s time and the twinkling of an eye.

11. We believe that no minister has the right to the administration of these rules and ordinances only such as are called and come under the imposition of the hands of a Presbytery.

    Why Give

Thanks for your interest in supporting the ministries of GraceSpring Church. Your generosity helps us continue our mission of leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and furthering His ministry.

But we encourage you to give for even simpler reasons:

    1. We give because God gave first.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

    2. We give because God asks us to give.

Giving is an act of worship. Through His word, the Bible, God asks us to give cheerfully, generously and sacrificially out all that that He gives us. We acknowledge that God is the God of our finances by being obedient to His commands.

    3. We give because it changes us.

God does not need our money. God asks us to give for our own benefit. When we give it reminds us that everything we have belongs to God. Giving puts into practice the belief that God will supply our needs. Even further, we see through scripture that God rewards giving both with earthly blessing and the promise of eternal treasure.
