Quotes Regarding Church State In America

End Times: Where’s America in Bible Prophecy? Dr. Mark Hitchcock

“If the liberties of the American people are ever destroyed, they will fall by the hands of the CATHOLIC CLERGY.”

In the book Confusion Twice Confounded, Monsignor Joseph H. Brady states that the U.S. Supreme Court is wrong in decisionsregarding seperation of Church and State. He says: “A sound view of the Constitution in its relation to religion probablyawaits a change in personnel in our highest tribunal.”

During the Reagan administration, President Ronald Reagan, after much pressure, appointed an ambassador to VATICAN CITY!When W. Kenneth Dan was asked why we need an ambassador in Vatican City, He replied “It would allow the USA to influencethe political decisions of the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH!”

HOLY OFFICE STILL EXISTS

“But Constitutions can be changed, and non-Catholic sects may decline to such a point that the politicalproscription of them may become feasible and expedient. What protection would they have against a Catholic state?”

“The Catholic Church in this nation must live on to accomplish her work, even though our Republican form ofgovernment disappears.”

REMEMBER! It is the earth beast that calls the people of the world to form an “image to the beast”, ie, an image ofthe Papal Church/State entity that is the Roman Catholic Church. It’s coming!

America Will Be Included With The Nations

There are no specific references to the United States in Bible prophecy. However, there are biblical statements about what the nations in general will be doing during the tribulation period. Passages like Haggai 2:6-7, Isaiah 66:18-20, and Zechariah 12:2-3 speak of all the nations involved in end-time events. These kinds of references clearly will include the United States in their fulfillment, but they do not teach us anything specifically about America in prophecy.

Some have brought forth various biblical passages from which they theorize that America is included in a more specific way. I will now address the merits of some of these suggestions.

Is The United States Of America In Bible Prophecy

1) Perhaps in the end times the United States will be weakened to the extent that its influence in the world suffers, and America does not play an important role in end-times events.2) Perhaps in the end times the United States has ceased to exist altogether.3) Perhaps the United States is simply one of the other nations of the world that reject God in the end times .

Father Of Many Nations

Abram and his wife Sarai were both advancing in years and had not been able to have children. Yet God had told him that he would have descendants who would inherit a land. For 24 years after they left Haran, Abram and Sarai waited and pondered these promises. Finally, when Abram was 99 years old, God appeared to him once again.

In Genesis 17:6, God promised: I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. At this point Abram also learned that he would become the father of many nations . God told him that He was changing his name to Abraham, meaning the father of a multitude, and Sarais name to Sarah, meaning princess. Within a year, he was told, Sarah would bear him a son . Such a thing seemed too incredible for words, but nevertheless it happened just as God said that it would and Isaac was born at the appointed time.

Actually, Abraham had had a son 14 years before Isaacs birth, but this son Ishmael was not the son of promise. After ten years of waiting on Gods promises, Sarah had encouraged Abraham to take her maidservant Hagar and have a child by her. He did this and thereby engendered problems and conflicts that have endured to this day.

After Isaacs birth, Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away . Ultimately Ishmael married among his mothers people, the Egyptians, and had numerous children. The Arab nations take their origin from Ishmaels sons.

Nations Small And Great Described In Bible Prophecy

America in Bible Prophecy Magazine by Amazing Facts

Several midsize and smaller nations, such as Egypt, Jordan and Libya, are identified clearly in the Bible. So does it makes sense that the greatest single nation of our time or the greatest community of nations would be left out?

Many events now in the past were laid out in advance in the Bible. God’s prophets accurately foretold the rise and fall of great empires and nations, and sometimes specific kings one after another. Many prophecies, including those dealing with the United States and other major English-speaking nations today, were spoken and written down thousands of years before their fulfillment.

Prophecies make up a fourth to a third of the Bible. But why are the scriptures that identify the United States and give advance news of its future not widely taught or understood among Christians today?

A primary reason is that the key to understanding the most sweeping prophecies has gone largely ignored. It can be found in the first books of the Bibleespecially the book of Genesis.

Is There Any Bible Prophecy About The United States Of America

Is there any Bible prophecy about the United States of America? from Compelling Truth

Neither the United States of America, nor any country in North or South America, is directly mentioned in the Bible. Yet many struggle with the idea that the worlds leading nation would not once be the subject of Scriptures end time prophecies. As a result, some have found places in which America may be included as part of a larger discussion of Gods prophetic future, though many details are uncertain.

For example, the United States will likely be one of the many nations included among those who generally reject God in the end times .

In addition, a global coalition of nations will serve under the leadership of an international leader known as the Antichrist. While this leader appears to arise from within the revived Roman Empire that includes Europe and the Mediterranean area, the United States will likely serve as a member nation in whatever conglomerate arises during this time.

A Historical Note: Great Civilizations Can Fall

Many great nations have risen and fallen throughout human history. In each case, the nation probably had no expectation of its impending demise. Most of the citizens of these nations were not likely to expect their nation to fall. The harsh reality of documented history, however, is that great nations do fall.

  • The Babylonians never thought Babylon would fall, but its demise came in less than a century.
  • The Persians never thought the Persian Empire would fall, but it finally capitulated after about two centuries.
  • The Greeks never thought Greece would fall, but it waned in less than three centuries.
  • No one thought the mighty Roman Empire would decline, but it waned after holding out for nine centuries.

Is the United States invincible? We tend to think we are specialthat we will succeed where others have failed. But such a mentality may be as arrogant as it is unwise. Research demonstrates that many of the fallen civilizations in history also thought they were superior to their neighbors and forebears. Few of their citizens could imagine their society would one day collapse.

Joseph’s Descendants To Be Great

We see, then, that these promises of national greatness were never fulfilled anciently by either Israel or Judah. So how were they fulfilled?

Jacob, or Israel, was the father of 12 sons who founded the 12 tribes of Israel. When he went to Egypt to be reunited with his son Joseph, God inspired specific prophecies of national greatness to the two sons of Joseph. Of all the tribes of Israel, those from Joseph would be the specific nations on which the promise of national greatness would predominantly comenot the descendants of Judah, the Jews.

Again we need to understand that this would not be fulfilled among the people of the small kingdom of Israel in ancient times. Rather, the fulfillment would be vastly greater, yet still among the same peoples of the house of Israel, though much later in history, when Israelites would dwell around the world.

Jacob told His son Joseph that his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, would grow to become great powers on earth, not in a tiny portion of the Middle East. Conveying to them the promises originally given to Abraham , he said, “Bless the lads let my name be named upon them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth” .

The language is very expansive. God said the promise of national greatness would mean a world power involving “a multitude” in the middle of the entire world systemglobal in scope and power.

Captive Israelites Become Known As Cimmerians

Israel In Prophecy #5: Where is America in Bible Prophecy?

In captivity, Israel lost even its national name. Having abandoned their sign of identity that God established, the Israelites have become lost to most secular historians. However, they were certainly not lost to God. Notice the message he inspired the prophet Amos to record in the years prior to Israels captivity. Behold, the eyes of the LORD God are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, says the LORD. For surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground .

In 1 Kings 16, we read of Omri and of his rise to power. He overthrew his predecessor, Zimri, and established a powerful dynasty. Though he only reigned twelve years, he established the capital city of Samaria and put laws in place that guided the nation through the rest of its history. His role as lawgiver was so established that 150 years after his death, and many dynasties later, the prophet Micah still referred to Israel as keeping the statutes of Omri. Clearly rejecting the laws that God had given through Moses, the House of Israel chose instead to keep the laws enacted by Omri. Omri, we are told by scripture, did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all who were before him .

A Tall And Smooth People

Some have pointed to Isaiah 18 which speaks of a people tall and smooth who are feared far and wide. The passage further states that this is a powerful nation whose land the rivers divide. The chapter ends by stating that the people of this nation will bring a gift of homage to the Lord when He returns to reign from Mt. Zion.

Because these verses speak of a powerful nation whose land is divided by a great river, some have jumped to the conclusion that the nation is the United States since it is divided by the Mississippi River.

But the opening verses of this chapter indicate it is speaking of Cush, the ancient name of Ethiopia. At the time Isaiah wrote this passage, Ethiopia was a part of the Egyptian empire and the river referred to is undoubtedly the Nile.

The British Empire Emerges

How had the British done it? How, in the first place, did a peripheral island rise from primitive squalor to world domination? And how did they, between the wars, still manage to keep their rickety empire together with little visible effort? . This was the question posed by author Luigi Barzini and it has been echoed by many.

While other nations set out with a cohesive plan to conquer vast stretches of territory and to build an empire, the British, it has been said, stumbled into theirs in a fit of absentmindedness. How did such a remarkable development come about?

Canada, a vast trove of agricultural and mineral wealth, came almost unbidden into the British Empire. After Englands victory over France in the Seven Years War , many in Parliament argued against even accepting Canada from France, warning that its scanty trade in beaver skins would not offset the burden of defense and administration . In fact, Halifax was the only community in America founded by direct action of the British government .

Overall, British influence was beneficial for the whole world, just as God anciently prophesied that it would be. It was the British Navy that wiped out the international slave trade in the early 19th century. The British and Foreign Bible Society, headquartered in London, was responsible for the Bible being translated into virtually every language and made available for the first time to peoples all over the earth.

A Village Of Tarshish

Probably one of the most popular passages where people claim to have found the U.S. is in Ezekiel 38 where the prophet describes an invasion of Israel that will be launched in the end times by a nation from the remote parts of the north. The descriptive verses about the northern power make it clear that this nation is Russia. What is not so clear is where the U.S. fits into this invasion.

Those who find us in the passage point to Ezekiel 38:13 which says that the merchants of Tarshish and all its villages will speak out against the invasion. The argument is that Tarshish is Britain and the villages or young lions are the English speaking nations like the U.S. and Australia that were founded by British immigrants.

To say the least, this is a highly imaginative interpretation. Its validity is seriously questioned by the fact that no one knows for certain the true identity of Tarshish. Furthermore, recent archaeological developments indicate that Tarshish was most likely Spain, not Britain.

Is America Mentioned In Bible Prophecy

America in Bible Prophecy (LIVE STREAM)

The world intuitively understands that the politics, elections, trends, and economy of the United States influence every other nation on the planet. It is the worlds sole superpower with no close rivals.

The worlds reaction to the results of the 2008 US elections illustrated this in a profound way. Today America elects The President of the World, read the daily issue of Al Chourouk, a Tunisian Arabic paper. We witnessing an election that might as well be all ours, wrote Koh Lay Chin of the Malaysian New Straits Time. And as the results rolled in guaranteeing the election to Barack Obama, Africans rejoiced in the streets, Brazilians threw beach parties, and Australians celebrated in posh ballrooms.

He is the first truly global US president the world has ever had, said Pracha Kanjananont, a 29-year-old Thai sitting at a Starbucks in Bangkok. I really think this is going to change the world, gushed Akihiko Mukohama, 34, the lead singer of a band that traveled to Obama, Japan, to performwearing an I Love Obama T-shirtat a promotional event for the president-elect.1

Ephraim And Manasseh Receive The Birthright

Let us look further at how the birthright promises were amplified for the descendants of Joseph. An important part of this story occurred a short time before the death of Jacob-Israel. By this time he and his entire family were living in Egypt where Joseph was serving as administrator directly under Pharaoh. Joseph came to visit his elderly and infirm father and brought with him his two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. A little-understood ceremony occurred during this visit.

In Genesis 48:5, Israel informed Joseph that he was adopting Ephraim and Manassehthat they would be counted as his and therefore be counted among the tribes of Israel. Thus Joseph was given a double portion. After Joseph brought his sons close, Israel embraced them, laid hands upon them and set them apart for special blessing.

At this time a remarkable event occurred. Joseph had purposely arranged the boys so that the older, Manasseh, was standing on Israels right side and the younger, Ephraim, was standing on his left side. This was so that he would place his right hand, signifying the greater blessing, on Manasseh and the left on Ephraim. Israel, however, crossed his hands and put the right hand on Ephraim and the left on Manasseh. When Joseph saw this he tried to correct what he perceived as a mistake on the part of his nearly blind father. Israel resisted, however, and explained that this crossing of his hands was purposeful.

Earth Beast Speaks Like A Dragon

Unfortunately, this nation which starts off as a ‘Christian’ nation, ends up speaking like a dragon … Revelation 13:11-12 …’and he spake as adragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell thereinto worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.’

“we occasionally have to twist the arms of countries that wouldn’t do what we need them to do.”

As we learned earlier, the dragon representsSatan, who used Papal Rome to enforce ‘religious’ laws and persecute and kill God’s true people who would notadhere to them. So Satan will use America like he used the Roman Catholic Church during the dark ages to enforce”religious” laws upon the world. America will start to “speak” the way the Roman CatholicChurch spoke in the dark ages, and you will notice in the verses above that the earth beast “causes the worldto worship the first beast”. So America will cause the world to obey the Roman Catholic Churchin some way.

We can clearly see today that the American government, currently led by President Obama, has started doing awaywith the rights and freedoms of the people in preparation for the mark of the beast which is to come soon. Andwhich nation is at the forefront of attacking and taking control of certain countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya,Syria and otherswho refuse to go along with their political policies? America.
