This is another powerful verse by Jesus akin to the LOA.
When you pursue a goal with almost sincerity and believe in your heart that you are deserving of it and that you are going to receive it, you are bound to realize it. There is no other outcome that is possible.
When you believe that you are deserving of something, you automatically become a vibrational match to your desired reality.
This is a powerful verse that also appears in Luke 11.9.
What Exactly Is Manifestation
If you are in the personal development space, you dont have to look hard to find books, articles and spiritual guides teaching and talking about manifestation and law of attraction.
The idea behind manifestation is that you can bring forth something into your life by focusing, believing, and attracting it.
At first glance, this new age thinking seems as simple as focusing your attention on your desires and they will materialize.
There are, however, very serious elements that are wrong with manifestation and that is why I believe Christians should stay as far away as they can.

How We Can All Use The Law Of Attraction
For the religious, it seems blasphemous to pray to creation, rather than to the creator. If this matter of semantics were brushed aside, however, more people could experience the benefits of the proper use of the Law of Attraction.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The similarities between the biblical teachings and modern practices of the Law of Attraction are hard to ignore, so it is a wonder that the Law of Attraction isnt preached about more directly in the Christian church.
The more you study the Bible with the Law of Attraction in mind you will find that the practice of New Thought, is a lot older than you may have realised.
You might even find a deeper connection with God when you see that He provides what was promised in the Bible.
When I read some of the Christian blog where the law of attraction is fiercely criticized it seems like the authors always want to flex their knowledge and understanding of The Bible.
Its seems like their argument is always justified by quoting from The Bible. The issue with this is that you will never be wrong as long as you do that.
Ultimately we all have to make up our own minds and understand God and creation in our own way.
Hanging on to archaic doctrines is not progressive and in a world where we have almost completely decoded the gene code we can no longer be guided by blind faith.
What Does The Bible Say About Manifestation
Many believe that the concept of manifesting your goals and desires goes against the spirit of Christianity and the teachings of the Bible. It cannot be further from the truth.
If you care to look closely enough, you will realize that the meaning and intention are the same.
In the Bible, you will find,
God wants you to achieve your dreams and realize your goals. The Bible is clear that only then you will bring glory and honor to Him.
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14
God doesnt want you to stress about anything but just focus your energy on prayers. All you need to do is do good deeds, feel grateful, and make the request.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

What Power Do Humans Have In Their Mind
While this topic is debated and studied, the Bible has quite a bit to say about it:
1. All powers are ordained by God and subject to God
2. Human minds have no supernatural power of their own
3. Humans do not have the power over death
4. Humans can only get power from God
5. Humans that seek powers from other sources, misuse power, or resist the power of God shall be rebuked or damned by God
6. The power of God comes only from God

Does The Bible Teach The Law Of Attraction
The Bible doesnt teach the Law of Attraction. Quoting the Bible isnt the same as responsibly reflecting its teachings.
Readers would be wise to remember that the devil, too, quoted Scripture when he tempted Jesus, but was rebuked because he used it in a sinful, self-centered manner . Some advocates of manifestation quote verses like Matthew 21:22 and Mark 11:24 to support their ideas.

What Is The Christian Perspective On The Law Of Attraction
Ever since the publication of the 2006 book The Secret and the 2007 movie of the same name, the law of attraction has circulated in our pop culture vernacular. Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carrey, and other celebrities are adherents of this movement. You might not even realize the roots of the movement, but maybe youve heard people talking about positive vibes, manifesting what you want, and other similar buzzwords or phrases.
If youre interested in self-help or self-development, you might have noticed popular social media figures promoting law of attraction concepts. For example, YouTuber Lavendaire, who has a million subscribers, wrote this on her blog:
All realities begin in the mind: your beliefs become thoughts, thoughts become words, words become actions, and actions become reality. As you take action towards your dream, the universe will conspire to help you achieve it.
What exactly is this philosophy? Where does it come from? Is it compatible with a Christian worldview? Lets talk about the background of the law of attraction and compare it with Scripture, and consider how we as Christians can think about this philosophy.
Seek And You Shall Find Ask And It Will Be Given
This is perhaps one of the most quoted Bible verses and the wisdom and truth in these words is unquestionable.
Ask, and it shall be given to you seek, and you shall find knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
The problem is that for most of us, our live experiences do not reflect the promise of these words.
You may plead for something, ask incessantly, spend your life looking and searching and knocking on every door yet you still dont receive.
What gives?
Are these just empty words? Is it symbolic? Or is it fact?
This phrase was one of the main ideas presented in the film The Secret and one of the great teachers from the movies, Abraham wrote a follow up book called Ask and It Is Give.
This book provides some great insight into the idea of this powerful statement and how it really works.
This is not only proof of the law of attraction in the Bible but it sums up the whole process of manifesting.
When you ask God you immediately start the creative process. It starts moving towards you but you most probably cant see or experience this yet.
The problem is that most people ask for something consciously and five minutes later they fall back into their old thoughts and beliefs that offer thoughts that contradict what they asked for.
The idea of asking is not something you do once. You are asking with your every thought.
When you knock, can you see the doors opening? Are you taking inspired action?

The connection between eyes and faith is taught throughout Scripture. The Pharisees had a hard time believing Jesus did not own supernatural power. Jesus would also have a hard time believing that He was capable of working all things together for the good of those who love Him, including healing and miracles.
Jesus said, If you love me, keep my commands. Jesus told us to obey the Lords command not just because we are told to but because it is correct. If He commands something, then it will produce good results. When it comes to faith, we must learn that Gods Word can change peoples lives by revealing what they need to know in life.
Law Of Attraction And Christianity
I first came across the Law of Attraction through The Secret movie. The law of attraction on the surface looks like a great thing and there are parts of it that mimic and almost mirror Biblical principles. However, one of the devils greatest tools of deception is to twist and pervert the principles of God.
This is similar to how propaganda works. Propaganda shares bits of truth and mixes in bits of lies and one arrives at a place where you are unable to separate the truth from the lies as it blends together. This is insidiously happening in the law of attraction.
What is the Law of Attraction? Is the Law of Attraction Biblical?
In the New Thought philosophy, the Law of Attraction is the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, people can bring positive or negative experiences into their life.
For example, law of attraction says, your thoughts determine the way you live. Similarly the Bible teaches in Proverbs 4:23, Be careful how you think your life is shaped by your thoughts.
Nothing wrong with that right? Right
The Law of Attraction says that our thoughts and emotions determine our physical health.

However, this is due to how God designed our bodiesnot because of our connection with a universal energy force and our negativity or positivity attracting negative or positive physical symptoms.

Manifestation Law Of Attraction ~ Way Keep A Spiritual Journal
It is no secret that when you write things down they are more likely to come true. It can be your manifestations or even your goals. So you can write down your prayers, your wishes to God, write down gratitudes, or write down what you are believing God for.
The good things about spiritual journals are that you can come back and read them time and time again. This is a great way to be reminded of what you are believing God for and it is wonderful to come back time and time again to read it and be grateful for each manifestation that you see come true.
I am a master of writing letters to God and oftentimes your manifestations it takes some time to see God move on your behalf. Sometimes it takes YEARS. I love when I am able to come back to my journals time and time again and read where I was then versus where I am now.
Often times, when things are in writing it, is a wonderful reminder of what you are believing God for and a good reminder when you see your manifestations come to pass even if it is YEARS from now. Because oftentimes when they are not in writing we tend to forget. The more you see how much God has done for you the more you are reminded of how much more He can manifest for you. The New Thought Movement The Law Of Attraction And The Bible
If you are looking for proof of the law of attraction in The Bible then you dont have to look very far. The Bible is jam packed with direct and indirect references to what we have now come to know as the law of attraction.
The law of attraction is an idea that was not only derived from The Bible but the so-called New Thought Movement in the early 1900s actually was a breakaway group that read The Bible in a different way.
Most of what people believe to be the meaning of what is written in The Bible is in fact just an interpretation by so-called Biblical scholars.

Law Of Attraction In Islam
Those whose religious beliefs come from Islam enter into a personal journey that takes them on the path to growth and spiritual development. Along this path, they find awakening to the divine presence of God.
The foundation for Islam comes from the Prophet Muhammad who described the personal path as at-tariqah and tazkiyah, which means purification of the self in Arabic.
