Reason No : Niv Underestimated Christs Miracles
One insult in Christs divinity is enough to make your head spinning especially if you read it the Bible. How much more if the insult is done multiple times? This is exactly what the NIV has done!
If it isnt enough to insult Christs divine nature, NIV went on to undermine or downplay His miracles.

Tried Tested And Trusted
There are enough good Bible translations out there to fit most peoples needs, but I cannot personally recommend the TNIV because there are just too many issues with it, and why would we need another translation when we have perhaps the best already available in the ESV, the NASB, and the New King James Version? When we try to modernize the language into our times, we can edit, omit, or mistranslate words, and any time we mess with the original manuscripts to make it more readable, we are tinkering with the very breath of God because all Scripture is inspired by God . Different translations are not inspired by God. Thats an important difference to note. Not all Bible translations are equal. Many are plainly heretical . Thats why its essential to study and read about each Bible before you buy it. Read the reviews and what scholars, pastors, and teachers are saying about it before you buy it.

Which Of The Many Bible Versions Is Best For Reading And Studying The Bible How Do They Differ
The English language has changed substantially over the four centuries since the King James Version of the Bible was first published. Many people find it increasingly difficult to understand the words and may be put off by the KJV’s foreign-sounding words. We can be thankful, however, that many newer versions exist that are much more up-to-date in their wording. But this raises another issue: Which of these many versions is best for reading and studying the Bible? How do they differ? The following is excerpted from our free booklet How to Understand the Bible:
More than 60 English-language versions are available. We can divide them into three broad types: word-for-word, meaning-to-meaning and paraphrased. Usually a particular Bible version will explain, on its introductory pages, which approach was used in preparing it.
How Easy Is The Niv To Read
The NIV Bible is written at a 7th Grade Reading Level. This means that children from the ages of 12 and up should be able to confidently read the majority of the NIV text and understand what it means.
What determines this level is the total number of unique words and sentences, as well as sentence length and the length of the words themselves. Other grammatical features also carry weight in the score. The reading level doesnt take into account any understanding of history and context. Just the words and grammar of the text.
As an example, this sentence you are currently reading would score at a Grade Nine on the readability test.
This sentence would be at Grade Two.

Reason No : Niv Eliminates Christs Comfort
Isnt it comforting to know that we can always run to God our heavenly Father and Yahshua/Jesus every time we are in need, when we are lonely and sad, and even during our darkest hours?
But sad to say, NIV has also eliminated some of the most comforting words of Jesus Christ. Notice Luke 4:18-19:
NIV The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lords favor.
NKJV The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
Jesus Christ was sent to heal the brokenhearted. If you are heartbroken and you only use the NIV, how would you be able to find this comforting verse?
Another verse the NIV altered is found in Luke 8:48:
NIV Then he said to her, Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.
NKJV And He said to her, Daughter, be of good cheer your faith has made you well. Go in peace.
Christ brings comfort and Luke 8:48 shows us this. Sadly, you wont read this in the NIV version.
Difference Between Niv And Kjv
The Bible has been a vital source of unity among the Christians since ages. At the same time, it has been an important instrument of separation, maintaining boundaries between truth and falsehood, and separating the believers from the non-believers. In the modern times, the Bible has been translated into many versions in the English language, each unique in a number of ways. Two such popular English translations of the Bible are the New International Version and the King James Version .

Finding the right Bible isnt easy. There are dozens of translations and hundreds of editions to choose from. Our new series of guides is here to answer your questions about the different Bibles on offer today.
First published in its full-form in 1978, the New International Version Bible has grown to become the most popular modern Bible translation in the world. This is due in part to the NIVs commitment to making the text clear and accessible without losing the original meaning and structure. There is a good chance you, or someone you know, will have an NIV Bible sitting on a shelf at home.

Reason No 1: Confusing Footnotes
If you are a new convert, how would you feel if the Bible you are reading has confusing footnotes? For example, in Acts 7:46, the footnote reads: Some early manuscripts read the house of Jacob. Thats the footnote for the word, the God of Jacob.
Now, thats a substantial difference. This is not the only footnote that can sow the seed of doubt in the heart of a new convert. With so many footnotes that contradict each other, do you think that it promotes confidence and faith in the Holy Scripture?
Being a Christian is hard enough, but adding the challenge of reconciling conflicting statements in the Bible makes the Christian race even TOUGHER!
Let me give you another example. Read Matthew 16:18, which reads, You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church.
Obviously, the Rock here is Christ. He is the foundation of the Church. Peter means small rock or stone. Christ cant possibly build His Church on Peter. However, we read the footnote of NIV, Peter means rock. Without any explanation, it is implying that Peter is that rock which Christ will build His Church upon!
This is a disgraceful footnote used to support the claim of the Universal Church that they have the only right of the Christian faith.
Please read the footnotes of Mark 1:1, John 10:29, Acts 20:28, I Corinthians 16:24, John 7:8, Luke 23:34, John 10:9, Romans 9:5, and Mark 15:39. All these footnotes will surely send your mind swirling in doubt and confusion.
Reason No : Niv Denies Christ As The Creator
This might be a shock to many Christians, but Yahshua or Jesus Christ is the Creator of all things. Now, this is entirely a different topic that I wont discuss today, but you may simply check out these verses as they prove that Christ is the Creator: Colossians 1:16 John 1:1-3 and Hebrews 11:3.
Theres one particular verse that I want you to take a look at. Its found in Ephesians 3:9:
And to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things .
And to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ .
Did you see a big difference? NIV just denied Christs Creatorship!
This is a direct assault to Christs divine nature and His role as our Creator, Savior, and Messiah.
Now, if you are just using the NIV, how would you know this profound truth written in the pages of your Bible? Surely, NIV users are again eternally denied of this truth.
Reason No : Niv Deleted Messianic Prophecies
The Messianic prophecies are very important since they show us the divinity and veracity of Bible. Through the Messianic prophecies, we see how the prophecies concerning our Savior was fulfilled to the letter!
Again, it is sad to see how NIV deleted some of these verses that could have boosted more the faith of Christians. Notice the following alterations:

Completion Of The New International Version
The New Testament NIV was completed and published in 1973, after which the Committee once again carefully reviewed suggestions for revisions. Many of these changes were adopted and incorporated into the first printing of the complete Bible in 1978. Further changes were made in 1984 and in 2011.
The original idea was to continue the work of translation so that the NIV would always reflect the very best of biblical scholarship and contemporary English. The Committee meets yearly to review and consider changes.
