Why Is It The Case That The Man Is Sexually Impressed By Thewoman
It is not an accident. God made males that way. Why? Genesis 2:24 says, Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. The reason man is sexually impressed by and attracted to woman is because of Gods design. However, there is a big difference in the physical attraction of a husband and wife, and that of a man who is physically attracted to a stranger at the beach, at the pool, or at the mall.
First, look at the husband/wife relationship. Let your fountain be blessed, And rejoice with the wife of your youth. As a loving deer and a graceful doe, Let her breasts satisfy you at all times And always be enraptured with her love . Contrast this to the unmarried man/woman. But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart . Someone may try to rationalize and say, Well, so long as nothing physical happens, theres nothing wrong with it. Another commonly stated expression is, Its all right to look so long as you dont touch. But that is not right! The Bible teaches that God is concerned not only about our actions, but also with our hearts .
So Should Women Show Off Their Body To Attract A Man
As we can see in these Bible verses about showing off your body, women are called to honor God with their bodies, not to use their bodies for sexual immorality or with a lustful intent.
This contradicts what the world tells us about a womans body, but we cannot ignore that using our bodies to attract a man was not Gods intent.
For so long I followed the worlds advice when it came to sex and dating, and used my body to try and get men to notice me.
But a few months after I had made the decision to stop having sex before marriage for God, the Holy Spirit got my attention as I attracted the stares of a few young men along the boardwalk by the beach in San Diego.
I felt the familiar feeling of a conviction, and I started to tug my shirt, and my shorts down to cover myself.
I lived in Pacific Beach, so I wore what most other women in their 20s wore at the beacha pair of high-waisted denim shorts and a tight-fitting crop top.
But in that moment, the Holy Spirit was telling me that yes, I had made the decision to commit to purity by waiting until marriage to have sex, but I didnt look like it on the outside.
I had made the decision to pursue purity on the inside, but now it was time to reflect that decision on the outside.
For a few weeks, I wrestled with the Holy Spirit and tried to pretend that it was still okay to wear the same outfits that I had worn for so long. But after I continued getting attention from the wrong kind of men, God was making it pretty clear.
Is It A Sin To See And To Be Seen
When we apply the test of intention to Jesuss teaching that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart, , we conclude that both the person who looks at another in lust and the one who inflames the lust are participating in a sinful act.
There are a couple of occasions in scripture where the beauty of a womans body is specifically noted:
- Rachel:Rachel had a lovely figure and was beautiful. Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, Ill work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel. Genesis 29:17-18
- Esther:Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This young woman, who was also known as Esther, had a lovely figure and was beautiful. Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter when her father and mother died. Esther 2:7
- Bathsheba:One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite. 2 Samuel 11:2
The Bible doesnt tell us how Rachel and Esther were dressed, but both of them were noticed in part because they had nice figures.

God Will Resurrect My Body After I Die
God never wastes anything. He gets the maximum use out of all He creates. Right now you are living in the 1.0 version of your body. You will get the 2.0 version of your body in heaven. The Bible says,

We dont really know what our resurrected bodies will be like, but we do have a few clues. We know that after Jesus came from the grave, He walked around Jerusalem for forty days in a resurrected body. He was seen multiple times by many different groups of people, including one event where more than 500 people saw and talked with Him. So we know that other people will still recognize you in the new 2.0 version of your body in heaven, but there will be one major difference: in heaven your body will be perfect, with no blemishes, no broken parts, no wounds, and no pain.

We live in a world like that. Our people have lost the ability to blush over the exposure of their bodies.
One preacher said, I would like to find out what kind of fruit Adam and Eve ate that made them realize they were naked, because Id like to pass it around again. That statement was tongue-in-cheek, but the preacher was right, because many people need to have their eyes opened to what is appropriate and what is inappropriate. The world today is very confused with regard to how we ought to dress, but a Christian is not like the world.

What Does The Bible Say About Dying To Self
If youre not willing to deny yourself, you cant be a Christian. You must love Christ more than your mom, dad, and you must love him more than your own life. You must be willing to die for Christ. It is either you are slaves to sin or you are a slave to Christ. Accepting Christ will cost you an easy life.
You must deny yourself and take up the cross daily. You must trust in the Lord in the hardest situations. You must discipline yourself and say no to the world. Your life must be all about Christ.
Even if you are persecuted, have failures, you feel lonely, etc. You must continue to follow Christ. Most people who call themselves Christians will one day hear depart from me I never knew you and they will burn in all hell for all eternity.
If you love your life, love your sins, love the world, and dont want to change you cannot be his disciple. God will not listen to the excuses that some people make such as God knows my heart.
Someone that wants to keep his life and still lives a continuous lifestyle of sin is not a Christian. That person is not a new creation and is just another false convert. You cant even breath apart from him, its not about your best life now. The Christian life is hard.
You will go through trials, but the trials are building you in Christ. Your life is not for you its always been for Christ. He died for you even though you didnt deserve it. Everything that you have is for Christ. All the good comes from him and the bad from you.
A New Creation In Christ Will Choose To Die To Self

Likewise today, people who flaunt their wealth may risk losing it, or at least some of it. Wearing expensive jewelry, watches, and displays of large amounts of cash draw unwanted attention. How much better to heed the Bibles advice not to brag about ones riches. Wisdom is with the modest ones, says Proverbs 11:2.

The fact is, everything you can see on earth was created by God. He made it, and He owns it. What you think you own is really on loan.
The Bible says, The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 1 Corinthians 6:13
Today we make the same common mistake Greek philosophers did thousands of years ago. Aristotle, Socrates, and Plato believed in dualism, which included the idea that your mind is important, but your body isnt important spiritually. They devalued the body. In fact, some Greek philosophers taught that your body is evil, so it really didnt matter if you messed it up.
The Bible tells us the exact opposite.
Your body is holy because God made it, and everything God makes has a purpose.
We are to bring glory to God with our bodies, so we cant compartmentalize our lives and think that we can divorce our bodies and live as if only our spirit matters. God owns your body!
