Bible Study: God’s Unconditional Love
The Father has an amazing love for all people.
Everyone wants to be cherished. But human devotion isnt always dependable. Even the most stable relationships change over time, according to how the lovers feel, the way they treat each other, and whether life is stressful or not.
We can be thankful that Gods love is quite different. Lets look at a few principles that describe His amazing affection for people.
1. Gods love is intrinsic to His nature. First John tells us God is the source of love . It also reveals that love is not only one of the Creators fundamental character traitsHe is love in His very being .
- When you think of the Lord, do you picture Him as loving? Explain.
Contrary to the worlds mindset, the fact that God is love does not mean He winks at or excuses sin . However, He forgives us if we are humble enough to ask.
2. Gods love is universal. He has compassion on both believers and unbelievers.
- According to John 3:16, what motivated God to send Jesus to earth?
- Has God given you a love for those who dont yet know Him? If not, ask Him to fill you with a genuine love for them and to show you how to share His love.
3. Gods love is unconditional. Unlike earthly affection, His love doesnt fluctuate. The Father doesnt care for us more when we have pleased Him or less when we have failed or sinned.

God Never Runs Out Of Unconditional Love
Gods love is infinite. There will never be a day when God doesnt love you. You cant do or say anything to revoke Gods love: thats the gospel in a nutshell.
The problem is, in our finite world, we get rejected by our friends, our marriages sometimes end in divorce, and our parents dont support us in the way we desire. Is it any wonder we dont fully understand Gods love for us?
But by working on our relationship with God, reaching out to Him, and trusting Him for everything we can begin to know an unconditional love we have not known .
Love Your Neighbor As Yourself
Dont get me wrong. I fail all the time. I indulge, insist on my own way, and react poorly every day. Thats why I also need to love myself in order to love well.
You shall love your neighbor as yourself .
When I am feeling nourished, protected, and care for, its easier for me to choose the same. And a parent, that means I must carve time for nourishing myself in the Word or going for a walk to relieve stress. I need to draw from the well of Love Himself God so that I can overflow with love to my kids and others.

Love Endureth All Things
It approaches every situation, afflictions, tribulations, temptations, and persecutions without complaint and with a positive attitude for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.; When love endures, it depicts an attitude of a heavy burden but continues on because it knows its in the right place.; In other words, Im committed to you, regardless of the situation.; Well work it out and were hanging in there until the end.; God is showing us how to love by enduring this hateful and sin-filled world.; He has a great plan and Jesus will be victorious in the end.; Every effort brings you closer to God.
Bible Verses About Gods Unconditional Love For Us
Throughout the whole bible, there are so many scriptures about love and thats the whole intention of showing us God is love. To understand true unconditional love , and how to practically live out and give to others, we need to return to the source which is in Gods word. Below are just some of the verses that tell us about Gods unconditional love for us.
1. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
2. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
3. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 1 John 3:1
4. We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19
5. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 1 John 4:16

To love your child like Jesus doesnt depend on how you feel. Its OK if you dont like or even cant stand your child right now. Loving them is about what you choose to do for their well-being. Gods love is so much more than I can grasp, much less put into words. If you want to know how to love your children like Jesus, the most useful thing you can do is draw near to Jesus. Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God .He will show you perfect love and will pour out love through you. Gods Love: The Whom Why And When
So lets take a look at what Gods love does mean. The Bible tells us that God loves the world. The Apostle John wrote, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.7 John did not say God so loved certain persons in the world, or God so loved only those who knew of him and decided to love him back. No, God loves everyone.
Gods overarching love for the world he made and the people he created is absolute. God loved the whole world and those in it from the very beginning, and he did so because love is an expression of his nature. It was and is in him to love. And so he loves every man, woman, and child.8

Although some confuse this with self-help advice, it is possible to love ourselves. 1 John 3:1 says, See what great love;the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!;And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
We are only known when we know God. When God tells us we are His children, heirs to the throne, and part of His royal priesthood, we can live every day not worrying about what others feel or think about us. Then we can resist the devils lies and see others from the same perspective God sees us.
When we look through the lens of the word and see people the way Jesus sees them, we will gain a new perspective both of ourselves and others. We will care in new ways for people, desperate to see them experience the same thing we have experienced. We will tell others about who we are in Christ and show them that they can be children of God, too.
Real Love Is Powerful
Real love IS the most powerful agent of change and healing.;When someone receives real love they feel safe in relationships. Being loved despite your imperfections makes a person blossom. Being loved for who you are rather than what you do, empowers people to let their creativity or unique flavor out for people to see To be themselves.;We were all created to shine in different areas and real love unlocks that potential. It removes fear of ;not being good enough or making a mistake.
Lastly, receiving real love can remove;feelings of ;loneliness, perfectionism, rejection, and isolation. ;Love reminds people that they have an ally that will fight to see them as a beautiful reflection of God and stick with them through lifes difficult moments,;No matter what!
So, my prayer is that we would not desire relationship with others;for just the good feels.;I pray that we would be so fiercely in love with our friends, family, spouses that we would want to stand by them through their darkest moments .
Lord remove selfish ambitions from our hearts, give us hope for hopeless circumstances, and give us a pure and unshakable love for others.

God Shows Us Unconditional Love
God is the ultimate in demonstrating unconditional love, and He sets the example for us all in how to love without expectation.
Romans 5:8But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful.
