Little is known about the inner workings of Life Change Community Church, the mysterious church founded with the support of Kris Jenner and frequented by her extended family. Although the Kardashians have claimed to have donated thousands to the organization over the years, their financial records have never been made public until now! RadarOnline.com has uncovered government documents that reveal that the church management failed to pay thousands in taxes in its early years, and was subsequently hit with liens from the state government.
Founded as California Community Church in June 2008, the organization was briefly known as the Life Change Community Church in 2010 and 2011, according to California State Department records viewed by Radar. And around that time, records suggest, they stopped paying some of their taxes.
On April 23, 2012, Life Change Community Church was hit with a lien for $1,601.93 in unpaid taxes covering the period of October 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011. Just a few days later, they were hit with a separate filing that listed $2,012.82 in unpaid taxes, plus interest and penalty fee for a total of $2,293.74. That lien covered a period up until September 30, 2011.
The church paid up and both liens were individually released by July 10, 2012.
It is not known what efforts such donations fund.

Yes, Kris Jenner and her clan regard themselves as very religious. Kim opened up about their religion in an interview with Vogue, saying:
We dont share it much, but were really religious. We start our day with a group chat with a Bible verse from my mom, and everyone chimes in on the meaning of it. We are very Christianand our work ethic and our discipline comes from so many years at Catholic school.
Kim was baptised along with all of her four children in 2019, where they were photographed at a traditional ceremony in Armenia.

To be sure, Jenner and Johnsons joint web-based operation doesnt exactly have a church per se. From what weve found, most of California Community Churchs few and random services are held at the Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel located at 30100 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. Other places where previous services have been held are locations, including, Edwards Grand Palace Theater in the Calabasas Commons.

A 10% reduction of someone like Kim Kardashians income is around $5 to $6 million a year, all going to the church thats co-founded by her mother.
Not only that, but members are paying $1,000 a month just to be members and it’s unclear where that money goes.
A look at their church website shows that they have programs for kids, teenagers, and adults, and from the pictures, it looks like they take trips and do fun activities with the kids but nothing that could possibly cost millions of dollars a year.

Until 2021 when the church service was suspended, Kanye hosted weekly religious services for an exclusive group of friends and family. The denomination the family followed, at least at that time, appeared to be Christian.
Based on past videos of Kanye’s Sunday service, the music was mostly gospel versions of Yeezy songs, like “Jesus Walks” and “Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1.” The choir was even known to rock Kanyes clothing line instead of traditional robes.

The Guardian reports that Johnson left his old parish and swore off the ministry in the wake of an adultery scandal, until Kris talked him into launching the California Community Church. Johnson married Khloé and Lamar Odom, and I cant decide if that makes him more or less likely to officiate at the Kimye wedding. It costs $1,000 a month to join, or 10 percent of your income.

California Community Church Donations Could Be A Tax Write
One of the ways these rich people do that is through charitable donations. Basically, if you donate enough money to charity, you could reduce the amount of taxes you pay up to 60% or 100% if you pay in cash.
Guess what counts as a charity? Thats right, the California Community Church.

So not only is Kardashian likely getting out of paying taxes through these tithes, but shes also giving that money to her mother who literally owns the church.
Theres something else in the law of the tax world that says churches are exempt from paying certain state and federal taxes, so long as they meet all of the requirements for tax exemption from the IRS which they do.
However, thats not something thats entirely set in stone.
According to RadarOnline, on April 23, 2012, the Life Change Community Church was hit with a lien for $1,601.93 in unpaid taxes covering the period of October 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011.
A few days later, they were hit with a second lien, this one for $2,012.82 in unpaid taxes.
This could likely be for two reasons one being that they simply didnt pay the taxes or forgot, and the other reason being that they werent paying their taxes related to payroll expenses.
