The phone at the legendary Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood went straight to voice mail.
A woman voice told the whole story, one quite familiar during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will remain closed for the foreseeable future, not just following Los Angeles County Health guidelines, but for the safety of everyone.
During any other time and at any other business it would not be so alarming, but few establishments will be adversely impacted as much as churches, the beacon of our community and bedrock of our foundation.
However, while vaccines are getting into the arms and many restrictions have be lifted such as indoor dinning at restaurants, worship service will continue to conducted online at Faithful Central.

Of the esteemed Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer who was called to be this churchs third pastor in 1982.
With the combination of excellence in leadership and Bishop Ulmers dynamic teaching and preaching style, the church continued to expand its membership with two and eventually three Sunday morning services.
Faithful Central once conducted services at the Forum, but now is comfortably situated at 321 N. Eucalyptus Ave., Inglewood.

The important role of fathers takes center stage at Daddy Changed the World: The Pain and Power of Fatherhood, an online event sponsored by Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer and Faithful Central Bible Church.
The program will stream live on FCBCs YouTube channel on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 21, at 3 p.m. Several notable guests are set to participate including Bishop T.D. Jakes, Kirk Franklin, Priscilla Shirer, Tyrese Gibson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Dr. Eric Mason and Hillsong United.

According to Ulmer, the service was inspired by the words of George Floyds daughter, who made the comments after witnessing the international outrage sparked by the killing of Floyd by a White police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25.
The gathering is an expression of the biblical truth of Proverbs 17:17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. The guests were chosen based on my personal friendships with them. It was our mutual friendship and respect for each other that would be the context of my comments, complaints, anger and questions. I wanted it to be a conversation among friends about an issue that is seldom discussed among friends of different races, said Ulmer.

Noting that the event occurs as the nation reexamines racial injustice and police brutality, he said that he hopes the programs multi-ethnic guests, as well as the viewers, will appreciate the value of conversation and dialogue to change society in America.

Never in my life had I truly dissected bible scriptures and had the understanding on how to apply scripture directly into my life. Bishop Ulmer is a teaching minister not a preaching preacher. He does not possess a get-over spirit often felt in many mass churches. He gets the concept that teaching a person scripture and how to properly apply it to not only their lives, but how to allow the scripture to absorb directly into your heart, then the tithes will come from a natural place of reverence. Its a Special Place to commune!!!

Troyvoi Hicks, central figure in the book LIFE AFTER THE DOWN LOW, written by his ex-wife Ingrid Michelle was never reported to authorities when substantiated allegations of his molesting young parishioners at the Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, CA Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, Pastor was revealed to its leadership.
Instead of the Church Leadership ensuring the protection of its young children by contacting the proper legal authorities the Youth Pastors and others embroiled in this sex scandal were allowed to leave the congregation of their own free will and without any form of monitoring.
In an earlier report, it was stated that Troyvoi Hicks left Faithful Center following a $200,000 to $300,000 settlement paid out to the family of an accuser. However, many other accusers also former attendees of Faithful Central were never granted that same justice or opportunity to address the aftermath resulting from the cover up of sex scandals of which they were also involved.

LA MIRADA, CALIF. Tomorrow, 404 graduates will be handed diplomas at Biolas first traditional in-person commencement ceremonies since the start of the pandemic. Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Los Angeles, along with John-Paul Foster, co-pastor at Faithful Central Bible Church and adjunct professor at Biola, will be giving the commencement address at the four commencement ceremonies.
There will be a total of four ceremonies held in Chase Gymnasium on Biolas campus in La Mirada. The ceremonies will be Biolas first traditional graduation ceremony since 2019 while still abiding by the countys health and safety protocols.
The four ceremonies will occur throughout the day as follows:

In fall 2020, Biola hosted a drive-thru commencement ceremony and pod style commencement ceremonies were held in Spring 2021.
