Resurrected Bodies Are Different From Mortal Bodies
Have you ever wondered what a resurrected body is like? According to 1 Corinthians 15:35, some of the Corinthians wondered the same thing. Read Paulâs answer in verses 36â54, and note words and phrases that describe the differences between mortal bodies and resurrected bodies. For instance, verses 40â42 teach that resurrected bodies will shine in glory in varying degrees, just as the sun, moon, and stars differ in brightness .
We learn from verse 29 that ancient Saints participated in baptisms for the dead, just as we do in the Church today. How are we doing as a family in preparing the names of our ancestors for temple ordinances? See also âBaptisms for the Dead,â Gospel Topics, topics.lds.org.

Key Verse: 1 Corinthians 1: 33
“For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.”
God never contradicts himself. He never has to go back and apologize because he “misspoke.” His agenda is the truth, pure and simple. He loves his people and provides wise advice through his written word, the Bible.
What’s more, since God knows the future, his instructions always lead to the outcome he desires. He can be trusted because he knows how everyone’s story ends.
When we follow our own urges, we are influenced by the world. The world has no use for the Ten Commandments. Our culture sees them as constraints, old-fashioned rules designed to spoil everybody’s fun. Society urges us to live as if there are no consequences to our actions. But there are.
There is no confusion about the consequences of sin: prison, addiction, STDs, shattered lives. Even if we avoid those consequences, sin leaves us estranged from God, a bad place to be.
Confusion In The Enemys Camp
TOPIC: CONFUSION IN THE ENEMYS CAMP
When the three hundred Israelites blew their horns, the LORD caused the warriors in the camp to fight against each other with their swords. Those who were not killed fled to places as far away as Beth-shittah near Zererah and to the border of Abel-meholah near Tabbath .
God is not just omnipresent, He is omniscient and omnipotent. He is everywhere at the same time. He sees everything and can do anything. His power has no limit. Psalm 147:5 says, How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! .
Whereas God uses His power positively for His children, He uses the same against their enemies. One of the ways God uses His power against the enemies of His children to favour them is by causing confusion in the camp of their enemies.
We see an instance in the book of Exodus when all Pharaohs horses, his chariots, and his horsemen pursued the Israelites into the midst of the Red Sea. God, through Moses, divided the sea for the Israelites to pass through on the dry ground.
After all the Israelites had safely passed through the Red Sea on dry ground, the LORD commanded Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea so that the waters would come back upon the Egyptians, their chariots, and their horsemen. Moses did, and in the morning, the sea returned to its full depth, while the Egyptians were fleeing into it. The Egyptians all drowned in the sea.

Bible Verses To Read When Confused About Love
God, Himself is love, and as we come to Him and allow Him to be a part of our lives, that love begins to flow through us to others. So likewise, when we submit our relationships to Him, He begins to work mightily in them. We see this throughout Scripture, where God intervenes in marriages, families, and friendships to bring restoration and healing.
Being Distracted By The Worries Of Life
18. Matthew 6:19-21 Stop storing up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moths and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal, because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
19. Matthew 6:31-33 So dont ever worry by saying, What are we going to eat? or What are we going to drink? or What are we going to wear? because it is the unbelievers who are eager for all those things. Why Did Paul Say Women Should Keep Silent In Church
Paulâs teachings in 1 Corinthians 14:34â35 may seem confusing, since earlier in this same epistle he wrote that women prayed and prophesied . The Joseph Smith Translation replaces the word speak in verses 34 and 35 with the word rule. This clarification suggests that Paul could have been referring to women who were trying to usurp authority in Church meetings.
Men Should Act Like Men Women Should Act Like Women
While there is some overlap in describing both masculinity and femininity, spiritually speaking, men need to be more masculine than they are feminine, and women are to be more feminine than they are masculine.
The Bible alludes to the importance of masculinity and femininity throughout scripture. Fathers are to demonstrate leadership, and mothers to be nurturing . Men are to clearly look and act like men, and women are to clearly look and act like women, and they are to follow in large part what culture determines to be masculine or feminine . Men are to be particularly strong and resilient to difficult conditions . Within the marriage bond, men and women are equal in value but have different roles to play . A mans behavior and appearance should not be characterized as being soft and delicate . God has always wanted men and women to dress according to their gender .
Instead of perverting gender into some sort of continuum, Christians must celebrate the differences of Biblical manhood and womanhood. We should encourage men to act like men and allow them to engage in recreational activities associated with masculinity. We should encourage the same with women. Fathers need to provide for their sons by not only affirming their masculinity, but by doing masculine things with them camping, playing football, building things, and teaching them how to provide for and defend the people in their care.
