What The Bible Says About Faith And Trust

Let God Make Your Way

What is REAL FAITH according to the BIBLE?

Commit your way to the LORD trust in Him, and He will act.

You may not understand the difficult or uncertain situation you find yourself in, but God does. His track record in your life and in the Bible is one of faithfulness. If you give your life to Him, you can rest assured that He will keep up His end of the bargain. God cannot lie, so when He says that He will act on your behalf, you can believe Him.

Trust What Jesus Did For You

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

The confidence you have is in what Jesus did on the cross. Your sin required death. It required a sacrifice. Instead of you dying, Christ took that on Himself. He paid for your sins. Your faith is in who Jesus is and what Hes done, not in anything you have or will do.

Putting your faith in Jesus does not require a list of good deeds to earn good standing with God. You could never achieve what it takes to be in Gods presence. So a perfect, sinless Savior did what you could not. You can trust in this salvation because it is dependent on something Jesus has already accomplished.

Look To The Promise Of Heaven

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Paul was the author of this verse. In this letter, this follower of Jesus was telling his young apprentice about one of the numerous hardships that he was going through. But Paul knew no matter what torture, imprisonment or harassment he might face, the Lord was on his side. The Lord would help him face every circumstance.

Paul put his trust in God when the world let him down. He knew that in difficulty he could look to the promise of heaven because he trusted in Jesus. He did not have to get worried because of the difficult things he went through. Neither do you. God cares about how you have been wronged. He will take care of you in those times. Do not let them distract you. Keep your eyes on Him.

What Does The Bible Say About Faith

The Bible says that faith is confidence in what we hope for and the assurance that the Lord is working, even though we cannot see it. Faith knows that no matter what the situation, in our lives or someone elses, that the Lord is working in it.

The Hebrew word for faith is Emunah which means support. This is perfect because faith is like the Lords support to us because he is working in every situation for his glory. Regardless of what we think, He always knows best, and there are many times we have to see by faith and not our own eyes.

5 Bible Verses About Faith:

You Can Trust God For Forgiveness

Many are the woes of the wicked, but the LORDs unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in Him.

The beginning of this psalm paints a picture of those who love God confessing their sin to Him. David was no stranger to sin and mistakes. David took another mans wife as his own. Then he had the womans husband killed in battle. In this psalm, He remembers what it was like to come to God for forgiveness and be restored. David remembered the unfailing love of God even when he messed up.

You can trust in God because He does not treat you as your sins deserve. Instead, he offers forgiveness and eternal life through Christ Jesus.

How To Keep Your Faith Strong

What’s So Special about FAITH? | What the Bible Says about BELIEVING | Understanding Agreement ?

Being honest is not always easy. As Christians, we know how easy it is to fall into sin. Therefore, you need to work at being truthful, and it is work. The world does not give us easy situations, and sometimes we need to really work to keep our eyes on God in order to find the answers. Being honest can sometimes hurt, but knowing that you are following what God wants for you will make you more faithful in the end.

Honesty is also not just how you speak to others, but also how you speak to yourself. While humility and modesty is a good thing, being too harsh on yourself is not being truthful. Also, thinking too highly of yourself is a sin. Thus, it is important for you to find a balance of knowing your blessings and shortcomings so you can continue to grow.

Proverbs 11:3 – “Honesty guides good people dishonesty destroys treacherous people.”

Romans 12:3 – “Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Donât think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.”

Bible Verses About Faith And Trust That’ll Bless Your Heart

Dexter is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ who finds joy in helping others succeed.

The Bible is a powerful book that contains principles, instructions, and promises that the devil doesn’t want you to know. The devil is an evil spirit that doesn’t like you, he is vicious, and is responsible for most of life’s trials. However, you can overcome him, but it will require faith and trust in God’s word.

Reality Check

You are probably trying your best to remain hopeful but given the perils unfolding daily, you’re finding it extremely difficult to stay focused. I won’t pretend that trusting God in these last days is the easiest thing to do. In fact, trusting in God in turbulent times is one of the most difficult qualities to perfect as a Christian. But faith is powerful, even in the hand of the weakest saint. God has given us victory, and as such, we can all stand our ground even when all seems lost. God is faithful, he is with you, and your faith will see you through. Your confidence in God is your escape route and the virtue that’ll make the difference, keep hoping.

Don’t Get Me Wrong

I’ve heard of persons who have lost their spouse, mother, father, child, and even beloved friends. Other folks have lost their marriage, job, house, and even their sanity.

A Word on Faith

  • Are you going to allow lifes trials to get the better of you?
  • Or, are you going to trust God, exercise tolerance, and wait on His deliverance?
  • Faith in God is all that you really need in hard times

How To Keep The Faith In Times Of Trouble

    Object Lesson About Trusting God

    1. Keep a positive attitude, reflecting on God’s promises. We are to praise Jesus in all things and in all circumstances.

    2. Surrender your circumstances to God. It can be so easy to get upset and shake our fists at Him when things arent going right. Instead, ask Him for help and to change your circumstances. Let Him take the wheel and trust what He is going to do.

    3. Be generous. The Bible says even in times of trouble, we are to give. It seems counterintuitive when you are struggling to keep your head above water. However, in giving and blessing someone else, you are blessing yourself too. God loves a cheerful giver.

    4. Spend more time in the Word. This will help keep you grounded and not going in another direction due to confusion or desperation.

    5. Reach out to friends and family. One of the best things to do in hard times is to draw close to those who love you most. Sit down and discuss your situation with a close friend or family member and let them give you some encouragement. Being connected to others is essential. Having faith means we are part of a covenant body of believers, a family of brothers and sisters united in Jesus Christ.

The truest act of faith, which is made possible by God’s gift of grace to us, is complete trust in the Lord through every circumstance, even when we do not understand why something is happening or not happening.
