If the different kinds of dinosaurs survived the Flood, then they must have come off the Ark and lived in the post-Flood world.
In the Bible, in Job 40:1524, God describes to Job a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called behemoth, is described as the chief of the ways of God, perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!
Actually, very few animals are singled out in the Bible for such a detailed description. Contrary to what many may think, what we know now as dinosaurs get more mention in the Scriptures than most animals! So dinosaursall the different kindsmust have lived alongside of people after the Flood.
Why Would God Create Dinosaurs
Some Christians argue dinosaurs could not have existed because God would not create such creatures that could wreak havoc upon human civilization. Enormous amounts of archeological evidence deter this argument, but we should also note the Bible mentions God created several other ferocious animals.
For instance, he created a fish large enough to swallow the prophet Jonah. Although no one would want to be ripped apart by a T-Rex, spending several days digesting in the belly of a sea creature doesnt sound like a great way to go either .
Daniel found himself face-to-face with a pack of lions in an enclosed den . Even though God chose to shut the mouths of the lions so they wouldnt consume this prophet, in most instances, lions dont go easy on their prey. In some ways, it might be worse to be torn senseless by lions than by velociraptors.
Even if we dont know the exact purpose God created them, they roamed the earth, and we cant deny the evidence for that.

No. Although these animals mentioned in the book of Job cannot be identified with certainty, Behemoth is generally identified as the hippopotamus and Leviathan as the crocodile. These identifications match the descriptions of them given in the Scriptures. In any case, the terms Behemoth and Leviathan cannot refer to dinosaurs. God told Job to observe these animals personally, and Job lived long after the dinosaurs had passed off the scene.Job 40:16 41:8.

In , we read that all flesh had corrupted his way upon the Earth . Perhaps people and animals were killing each other maybe dinosaurs had started killing other animals and humans. In any case, the Bible describes the world as wicked.
Because of this wickedness, God warned a godly man named Noah that He was going to destroy the world with a Flood . God therefore commanded him to build a great ship so that all the kinds of land animals and Noahs family could survive on board while the Flood destroyed the entire Earth .
Some people think that dinosaurs were too big, or there were too many of them, to go on this Ark. However, there were not very many different kinds of dinosaurs. There are certainly hundreds of dinosaur names, but many of these were given to just a bit of bone or skeletons of the same dinosaur found in other countries. It is also reasonable to assume that different sizes, varieties, and sexes of the same kind of dinosaur have ended up with different names. For example, look at the many different varieties and sizes of dogs, but they are all the same kindthe dog kind! In reality, there may have been fewer than 50 kinds of dinosaurs.
God sent two of every land animal into the Ark there were no exceptions. Therefore, dinosaurs must have been on the Ark. Even though there was ample room in the huge ship for large animals, perhaps God sent young adults into the Ark that still had plenty of room for them to grow.

According to the Bible, dinosaurs must have been created by God on the sixth day of creation. Genesis 1:24 says, And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
The sixth day of creation was also the day when God created people . Therefore, dinosaurs and people must have lived together on the earth at one time.
Dinosaurs were also originally vegetarians. All animals were. Genesis 1:30 says, And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. Thats a big difference from most modern portrayals of dinosaurs.

Were Dinosaurs On The Ark
From a biblical perspective, the most likely explanation for the extinction of the dinosaurs is the worldwide Flood described in Genesis 6 and 7. Soon after the flood mankind began to rapidly decrease in size, and in length of years. There was a class of very large animals which perished at the flood. God knew that the strength of man would decrease, and these mammoth animals could not be controlled by feeble man.
How Do Dinosaurs Fit With The Bible
Before you say anything, I dont refer to the Bible as a textbook. Im just looking for clarity about my religion.
If the dinosaurs existed, which they obviously did, they had to disappear, right? How did they disappear and the humans didnt? Since the Bible says God created everything, the humans and dinosaurs would coexist. The dinosaurs disappeared, which some say a meteor caused and others say the great flood did. First well talk about the flood. If Noah took two of every animal, that includes the dinosaurs. If they disappeared after the flood, it wouldnt make sense. For example, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was an apex predator. How did they just disappear? And all the other dinos?
Next, the meteor theory. This makes more sense to me, as the dinosaurs died but some things, like birds, fish, and mammals survived.

What Happened To The Dinosaurs
So what happened to the dinosaur? Gods Word tells us that God sent a flood to destroy the earth and that only Noah, his family and the animals that he brought on the ark were spared. Because Noah was commanded by God to bring two of every kind of creature on the ark , he would have brought dinosaurs as well. Your first question probably has something to do with squeezing all those animals and large dinosaurs on a boat. Am I right?
First, we need to know that the ark was not a tiny boat with animal heads sticking out of the windows. God instructed Noah to build a massive structure that could hold not only the animals but also all the food along with Noah and his family. Secondly, Noah would have taken younger and much smaller dinosaurs on the boat so that they would be able to mature and reproduce after the flood.
After the flood, the earth was not the same and it was probably difficult for the dinosaurs to find enough food to survive. The climate changed and the earth entered the Ice Age. Since the dinosaurs were most likely reptiles, it would have been challenging for them to stay warm enough to live. No one knows for sure what happened to the dinosaurs but we do know that the dinosaurs arent the only animals to become extinct. Many animals over the years have died off due to all sorts of causes.

When youre told evolution and faith arent compatible, the options seem bleak: You can reject a vast body of scientific evidence or you can reject God.
I know. Im a science educator and a university biology professor, but I was raised a creationist in a faith community that reads the Bible literally.
For a person of faith who wants to love God with heart, soul and mind, rejection of either science or God is an impossible choice.
Instead of an outright rejection of science, many find science in the Bible, and particularly in Genesis. Modern science evidence regarding astronomy, geology and biological evolution is sometimes retrofitted and forced into Scripture. The mental gymnastics required to do so while taking the Bible literally can be exhausting.
According to Pew, almost 40% of white evangelical Christians reject the evidence for evolution, the highest portion of any category that Pew surveys. In a separate Pew study, in Texas, Pew found that the percentage of highly religious adults who reject evolution approaches 50%. Intelligent design, touted as an alternative to evolution by some, is not really a view separate from creationist views, rather, it is a way of defending such views.
Its a conversation thats been going on for hundreds of years.

Will We Ever See A Live Dinosaur
The answer is probably not but, then again? There are some scientists who believe a few dinosaurs may have survived in remote jungles. We are still discovering new species of animals and plants today in areas that have been too difficult to explore until now. Even natives in some countries describe beasts that fit with what might be a dinosaur.
Creationists, of course, would not be surprised if someone found a living dinosaur. However, evolutionists would then have to explain why they made dogmatic statements that man and dinosaur never lived at the same time. I suspect they would say something to the effect that this dinosaur somehow survived because it was trapped in a remote area that has not changed for millions of years. You see, no matter what is found, or how embarrassing it is to evolutionists ideas, they will always be able to concoct an answer because evolution is a belief. It is not scienceit is not fact!

The story we have all heard from movies, television, newspapers, and most magazines and textbooks is that dinosaurs lived millions of years ago. According to evolutionists, the dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 140 million years, dying out about 65 million years ago. However, scientists do not dig up anything labeled with those ages. They only uncover dead dinosaurs , and their bones do not have labels attached telling how old they are. The idea of millions of years of evolution is just the evolutionists story about the past. No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, and because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view.

Evolutionists claim that dinosaurs evolved over millions of years. They imagine that one kind of animal slowly changed over long periods of time to become a different kind of animal. For instance, they believe that amphibians changed into reptiles by this gradual process. This would mean, of course, that there would have been millions of creatures during that time that would be in between, as amphibians evolved into reptiles. Evidence of these transitional forms, as they are called, should be abundant. However, many fossil experts admit that not one unquestionable transitional form between any group of creatures and another has been found anywhere. If dinosaurs evolved from amphibians, there should be, for example, fossil evidence of animals that are part dinosaur and part something else. However, there is no proof of this anywhere. In fact, if you go into any museum you will see fossils of dinosaurs that are 100% dinosaur, not something in between. There are no 25%, 50%, 75%, or even 99% dinosaursthey are all 100% dinosaur!
The Bible tells us that God created all of the land animals on the sixth day of creation. As dinosaurs were land animals, they must have been made on this day, alongside Adam and Eve, who were also created on Day Six . If God designed and created dinosaurs, they would have been fully functional, designed to do what they were created for, and would have been 100% dinosaur. This fits exactly with the evidence from the fossil record.
