Some of the studies, I have done, most I have not, yet, but have added them to my own wish list. Some are geared specifically toward women, others are not.

How To Study The Bible
A time will come when you will look for meatier teachings. As Paul, Peter, and the writer of Hebrews mentions we grow from infants needing milk to adults who need solid food.
This comprehensive Bible study guide is published by The Associated Bible Students, a non-denominational Christian Fellowship based in Ohio. They have independent congregation all over the world who are totally independent and free to preach the Word as they see fit for their church. This gives their pastors the leeway to make their preaching relevant to the local conditions and mood.
All of their ministers use this study and it has served them well. It would definitely help you grow deeper roots in your Christian life.

Free Bible Correspondence Course
Washington Avenue Church of Christ in Evansville, Indiana has long provided free Bible studies by mail to those who wish to learn more of Gods Word and increase their personal knowledge of His message and His promises.
We are happy to offer another Free Bible study from the World Bible School to our correspondence students who have studied with us before, as well as those who are looking for a sound study for the first time.
If you are wanting to know about Jesus and His teachings, this is the study for you. You will study at your own pace, but there is always someone available to answer your questions.
This Master Series course includes many key verses from the Bible in each of the 7 booklets, which means a student can complete the study without a Bible. Gods Plan For Mankind
The Christian Biblical Church of God was established in 1983 by a Fred Coulter and a small group of believers. The CBCG now ministers to thousands in various fellowship groups and small congregationsas well as to thousands of scattered believers around the world. Fred Coulter is the author of Gods Plan for Mankind and can be order for free through postal mail.
Their website offers a plethora of free books. It no wonder why more than 40,000 people actively use the resources to assist them in their Christian walk. Thankfully, you can too. Check out their other offerings here.
Open Yale Courses In Religious Studies
Yale is an Ivy League school that offers many online courses to the public completely free. I know they dont exactly fit this list, since they dont offer a certificate upon completion, but they are offered by such a high-quality university that not including them felt wrong.
There are 2 courses available through the Open Yale Courses platform:
- Introduction to the Old Testament
- Introduction to the New Testament history and literature
Even if you are looking for a course that comes with a certificate, I suggest looking at these two courses offered by Yale. They are a great introduction to religious studies, and they will make your study path much easier in the future.
Warning: these courses dont come with any certificate. They are purely available to learn more about the Bible itself.
Dallas University offers many free online Bible courses, including:
- Evangelism
- James
- Daniel
And many more. You can find all courses in the linked page. If youre looking for a course that explains the Scripture in depth, youll be hard-pressed to find one better than this.
Completing these courses will take a long time. Many of these courses last several weeks, and there are 20 of them. Finishing the seminar will turn you into a Bible expert, but dont expect it to be easy.

International Seminary For Distance Educations Courses
ISDET is an institute that promotes a very low-cost online education for everyone. You only pay a small registration fee when you enroll, and then youre done.
All you need to enroll in this course is to have enough schooling to be eligible to apply to any other undergraduate program. But not even that is necessary, as the school might make an exception for you if you are older than 21.
The three bachelor programs available to students are:

- BMin
- BRE
The school supplies all materials for free, and there is no tuition. You will pay a small registration fee, and then another small fee when you graduate for the printing and shipping of the certificates. Thats it.
Christian Leaders Institutes Courses
This is by far the best online Bible course you can attend. It is entirely free, including your transcripts, provided you pass the preliminary class Christian Leader Basics .
Whether you are looking to brush up your theological knowledge, or you are looking to become a minister of faith, this course is for you. Completing it will net you training to become a certified minister. How cool is that?
The college is accredited, so you know you are in good hands. It offers a real curriculum with high-quality education, all for free.
It is a great choice if you are an active Christian, or a minister, be it volunteer, part-time, or full-time. There is a course for everyone. Lets say you wanted to become a Christian Wedding Officiant. There is a course with a certificate for you.

The last item on our list of free Christian books by mail consist of non-traditional Christian sources. However, these resources are very good places to get some free books, either through exchange or give away.
The first resource we would recommend is . With over a 1 billion users Facebook is a great place to hunt for free Christian books. Their marketplace has items listed on daily basis for free and if you are luckly you willfind Christian books that someone is willing to ship to you.
The second resource is Paper Back Swap. This is also a excellent source to find second hand Christian books. Paper Back Swap is a club, where members share books for free. All you have to do is send one bookto another club member via post and you will be able to choose from over 1 million available titles and receive it free via mail.
Gods Love Comes First
In previous meditations we looked at what John says in 4:7 21 about the significance of the command love one another and how God demonstrated his love to us. Johns commands and his clear expectations that Christians will love one another are written in the context of the truth about Gods love. The command to love one another is not just another rule that we have to follow, but arises from the grand and reassuring reality of Gods love.
John says a lot about the command to love one another. In doing so he has told us:
God is love 4:8, 16.Love comes from God 4:7. God has demonstrated his love in sending his Son to save us 4:9, 10, 14.
All of this makes it clear that Gods love came first.
He loved us before we loved him.
His love was not motivated by any love in us, or any loveliness in us, or any lovability in us.
He who is love, took the initiative, and proactively, in love, reached out to us.
Nor is it that God took one little step towards us, one little reaching out of his hand towards us, then waited for us to take a small reciprocal step towards him. What God did, before any response on our part, was total: he came all the way to us.
All the way in incarnation all the way into our human flesh.
All the way in substitution all the way to die our human death.
All of this, without us doing anything to cause his love and without us doing anything in response. All of this while we were still rejecting him.
We love because he first loved us 1John 4:19.
