Much has been written and argued regarding certain evidence that supposedly shows dinosaur and human remains together. The evidence includes what are interpreted to be human footsteps together with dinosaur footprints, as well as prehistoric pictures in caves and on pottery where human figures appear together with exceptional creatures very similar to current reconstructions of these giant reptiles. However, rigorous scientific study has shown that these features have been misinterpreted.
Let us analyze, for example, the alleged human and dinosaur prints found in the riverbed of the Paluxy River in Texas. A few decades ago, some enthusiastic scientists proclaimed that this was sure evidence against the theory of evolution and proof for the occurrence of a worldwide Flood. Intrigued by these statements, more than one evolutionist and creationist scientist studied in detail the marks found on the rocks. In that particular place, the riverbed and bank have many marks due to water erosion. We can tell the true dinosaur tracks from the pseudoprints due to the marks left on the rocks from the circulating water. With a little imagination, we can make out prints similar to those of almost any animal.
Will We Ever See A Live Dinosaur
The answer is probably not but, then again? There are some scientists who believe a few dinosaurs may have survived in remote jungles. We are still discovering new species of animals and plants today in areas that have been too difficult to explore until now. Even natives in some countries describe beasts that fit with what might be a dinosaur.
Creationists, of course, would not be surprised if someone found a living dinosaur. However, evolutionists would then have to explain why they made dogmatic statements that man and dinosaur never lived at the same time. I suspect they would say something to the effect that this dinosaur somehow survived because it was trapped in a remote area that has not changed for millions of years. You see, no matter what is found, or how embarrassing it is to evolutionists ideas, they will always be able to concoct an answer because evolution is a belief. It is not scienceit is not fact!
Why Dont We See Dinosaurs Today
At the end of the Flood, Noah, his family, and the animals came out ofthe Ark . The dinosaurs thus began a new life in a new world. Along with the other animals, the dinosaurs came out to breed andrepopulate the earth. They would have left the landing place of the Ark andspread over the earths surface. The descendants of these dinosaurs gave rise to the dragon legends.
But the world they came out to repopulate differed from the one theyknew before Noahs Flood. The Flood had devastated it. It was now a muchmore difficult world in which to survive.
After the Flood, God told Noah that from then on, the animals would fearman, and that animal flesh could be food for man . Even forman, the world had become a harsher place. To survive, the once easily obtainedplant nutrition would now have to be supplemented by animal sources.
Both animals and man would find their ability to survive tested to theutmost. We can see from the fossil record, from the written history of man,and from experience over recent centuries that many forms of life on thisplanet have not survived that test.
We need to remember that many plants and air-breathing, land-dwellinganimals have become extinct since the Floodeither due to mans action orcompetition with other species or because of the harsher post-Flood environment.Many groups are still becoming extinct. Dinosaurs seem to be numbered among the extinct groups.

What Happened To The Dinosaurs
The Bible does not comment on the disappearance of the dinosaurs. However, it does state that all things were created because of will, so God clearly had a purpose for making dinosaurs. When that purpose was fulfilled, God allowed the dinosaurs to become extinct.

Two instances in the Bible could possibly describe a dinosaur, or at least, a dinosaur-like creature. Some theologians will argue the author could have used hyperbole or metaphorical imagery, but if he chose to do so, he picked some rather odd images to describe mundane creatures.
1. Behemoth
In Job, this creature is described as having a tail like a cedar and an herbivore diet. It also says this colossal beast had large bones like beams of bronze.
From the portrayal in those verses, it seems as though the passage indicates a creature similar to a diplodocus. Some commentators try to say God had described a hippopotamus in this passage, but the depiction doesnt seem to match up. Hippos, for instance, dont have tails like cedars.
2. Leviathan
The leviathan seems to have armor-plated skin that no hook can pierce. Like the behemoth, the author makes note of the strong limbs this animal possesses.
Psalm 104:26 indicates the leviathan lived in water, which could point to why some people say its a crocodile. And Isaiah 27:1 describes the leviathan as a twisting serpent.
These may align with a crocodile, but Job seem to indicate this creature literally breathed fire. Crocodiles and other similar reptiles have not been known to breathe fire. This may indicate a dragon-like species existed during Jobs time.

According to evolutionists, the dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 140 million years, dying out about 65 million years ago. However, scientists do not dig up anything labeled with those ages. They only uncover dead dinosaurs , and their bones do not have labels attached telling how old they are. The idea of millions of years of evolution is just the evolutionists story about the past. No scientist was there to see the dinosaurs live through this supposed dinosaur age. In fact, there is no proof whatsoever that the world and its fossil layers are millions of years old. No scientist observed dinosaurs die. Scientists only find the bones in the here and now, and because many of them are evolutionists, they try to fit the story of the dinosaurs into their view.

Origin Of Sin And Death
The idea of the gradual evolutionary development of living things until humans finally appear makes it difficult to understand sin and the origin of evil. The fossil record gives much evidence of death, disease, predation, and crueltyall supposedly taking place eons of time before Adam and Eve evolved and sinned. Yet the Bible clearly tells us that God said everything He created was good or very good . The Bible teaches that sin originated in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and that death is the result of sin. But if parasites, predators, disease, and death occurred before the creation of Adam and Eve , then death would be part of Gods original plan.

Dr Mantell realized there was something very different about these animal remains, and believed that he had found an entirely new group of reptiles. By 1841, about nine types of these different reptiles had been uncovered, including two called Megalosaurus and Iguanodon.
At this time, a famous British scientist, Dr Richard Owen, coined the name Dinosauria, meaning terrible lizard, for this is what the huge bones made him think of.

Is There Archeological Evidence For The Existence Of Behemoth And Leviathan
We should keep in mind, paleontologists did not dig up the first dinosaur until 1819. And according to World Wide Fund for Nature, 10,000 species go extinct every year. Researchers still have not uncovered all the creatures that existed in other periods of history, perhaps including ones such as the leviathan.
A lack of archeological evidence does not conclude such animals did not exist.
For instance, 10 archeological finds in 2018 alone bolstered evidence for events and people mentioned in Scripture. But before 2018, those historical events and people still had existed, whether archaeological artifacts proved it or not.
Does it matter?
Yes, and no.
It matters in a sense that we can see Gods fingerprints on all of creation, including the dinosaur fossils we pass in museums. It also matters in the sense that if the animals mentioned in Job are, in fact, dinosaurs, this concludes humans and dinosaurs overlapped in time periods of existence.
However, all in all, whether Job referred to a diplodocus or a hippopotamus, this does not affect major doctrinal issues in the Bible. We should keep in mind Scripture doesnt mention every animal that ever came into existence. This does not mean God didnt have a hand in creating all living things simply because they dont receive a specific remark in the Bible.

The main message of the Bible is not that the good peopleand not the bad peopleget to go to Heaven. The message of the Bible is that no one is good enough for Gods perfect Heaven, Therefore, Jesus died on the cross as our substitute to pay the penalty for our sin, and by faith in Him, we have our sins forgiven and are now fit to live in Gods Heaven.
Nevertheless, I understand the assumption behind the question about dinosaurs. Those who interpret the Genesis One creation story as an ordered-scientific account of the creation want to know where dinosaurs fit into the story. Based on this interpretation, all astrological, geological, anthropological, archeological, and biological disciplines must fit into the framework of a literal-six-day, twenty-four-hour creation occurring just 6,000 years ago. In recorded history, which begins about 6,000 years ago there is no mention of dinosaurs on the earth. Frankly, from a scientific point of view, it is hard to cram dinosaurs into a 6,000-year-frame work.

No. Although these animals mentioned in the book of Job cannot be identified with certainty, Behemoth is generally identified as the hippopotamus and Leviathan as the crocodile.
