One way that children learn is by watching the examples around them. It is imperative that we watch to make sure that our children have godly examples in their life. Children are constantly watching us watching what we do, watching how we respond to our frustrations, watching how we treat one another we must be the godly example for them.

It is also in Johns gospel that we find one of the last acts of our Lord upon the cross was done in fulfillment of our Lords obligation to honor his mother.
Do Not Exasperate Your Children
âChildren, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. âHonor your father and motherââwhich is the first commandment with a promiseââso that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.â Fathers, do not exasperate your children instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.â
