Jesus love was so powerful that He willingly gave His life for those who belong to Him.

You may even be “turned on” by someone at first sight. But you cannot genuinely love a person whom you do not really know.
Satan does not want you to know and experience true love. That is why he promotes all kinds of false love. He wants you to get involved in sex outside of marriage. He wants to generally mess up your life so that you think life is not worth living.

Unfortunately I have witnessed parents who dont know this kind of love. Ive seen parents standing in line at the grocery store buying tobacco, alcohol, and energy drinks while at the same time yelling at their preschooler for asking if they can have a candy bar from the display in the checkout line. God calls us to be better than this. He calls us to love with a love that puts others firstjust like he puts us first.

Generally, we are seeking love from others to make us happy. When we are living in the moment, we are already happy because the thoughts that would normally make us unhappy arent there. Since we are naturally happy when we are living in the moment, there is nothing we need or want from others. When we believe our judgments about someone, we can feel anger, disappointment, or resentment, or we can just feel separate from that person. All of this blocks us or prevents us from loving the person we are with.
When we are with someone, and believing our judgments, commentary, or labels about them, this puts up a wall or a barrier between us. We arent connecting with them, loving them, and truly being with them. We are just experiencing our thoughts about them. For example, we might experience our thoughts about how they arent appreciative enough, arent in good enough shape, arent a good enough father etc. But these thoughts just get in the way of love.

There really isnt anything I can say to expound on this statement. The words speak for themselves. When you love and experience love Gods way, your relationships will not be dependent on geography or what you can or cannot do for each other. Your relationships will stand the test of time and distance and you will protect these relationships by holding them close to your heartby cherishing them for the treasure they are by treating them with respect and withwell, with love.
