Why Are Ufos News
Part of the $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government funding bill signed by President Donald Trump last December included a line stating the Pentagon and Director of National Intelligence must deliver a non-classified report with a detailed analysis of unidentified aerial phenomena data collected by the Office of Naval Intelligence and the FBI. That report is to be submitted to Congress next month.
That provision was added by Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who says his concern is not extraterrestrials, but the threat the objects pose to national security. Anything that enters an airspace thats not supposed to be there is a threat, Rubio told 60 Minutes, in an episode that aired last week. He added that the stigma of UFOs should not keep the U.S. government from seriously investigating the unidentified flying objects seen by many military pilots.
Last month, the Department of Defense released videos of what Rubio is referring to. Three unclassified Navy videos, one taken in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015, have been circulating in the public domain after unauthorized releases in 2007 and 2017.
Evidence Cited By Proponents
Among scientists, the consensus is that the ancient astronaut hypothesis is not impossible, but unjustified and unnecessary. The “mysteries” cited as evidence for the hypothesis can be explained without having to invoke ancient astronauts proponents look for mysteries where none exist. Since ancient astronauts are unnecessary, Occam’s razor should be applied and the hypothesis rejected according to the scientific consensus.
Would Meeting Aliens Change Our Understanding Of The Cross
At the core of Christianity is the death of the incarnate Christ on a Roman cross, bringing redemption for humans. Is redemption unique to Earth? Again, Christians hold multiple views. As outlined in a good recent book Cosmology in Theological Perspective by Olli-Pekka Vainio , here are four options:
1. Aliens are not fallen, and thus have no need for redemption.
In C.S. Lewis space trilogy, the intelligent people on Mars and Venus know God but have not succumbed to sin. Perhaps other worlds have the situation we would have had on Earth if Adam and Eve had chosen to obey God. Or, perhaps life on other worlds is dramatically different from ours in ways that dont fit with our concepts of sin and redemption.
2. Aliens are fallen, and they have their own relationship with God that is different from ours.
This could be similar to the situation of angels in Scripture. Angels were created by God and some chose to fall into disobedience, yet we do not read of a redemption plan for them. Speculation about this goes back to the 1600s, when scholar Bernard de Fontenelle argued aliens are not not part of the human economy of salvation.
3. Aliens are fallen, but included in Christs redemptive work on Earth.
4. Aliens are fallen, but Christs incarnation and redemptive work are repeated on their own worlds.

Do I Believe In Ufos Absolutely
Is there intelligent life in outer space? Although this question intrigues scientists, theology can give us the answer.
Occasionally at conferences, someone will ask, Do you believe in UFOs?
I usually answer, Absolutely! Any flying object that cant be identified isa UFO.
I then continue, But do I believe in UFOs piloted by Vulcans, Klingons, orCardassians? The answer is a definite no. Sorry, Star Trek fans!
But if I dont believe in aliens flying around in UFOs, does that mean I rejectthe idea that intelligent life could exist in outer space? As one of my friendsonce said, Looking at the mess people get themselves into in this world, sometimesI wonder if theres intelligent life on earth, let alone outer space.
The Four Living Creatures
The four living creatures were not space people from some remote planet rather, they are identified as heavenly cherubim! Note Ezekiels own explanation:
And the cherubim mounted up this is the living creature that I saw by the river Chebar .
Cherubim were an order of angelic beings in Jehovahs service. For example, they were used by the Lord to guard the entrance to Eden after Adam and Eves transgression . Cherubim figures were mounted on opposite ends of the mercy seat atop the ark of the covenant within the most holy place of the tabernacle .
In Ezekiels vision, each cherub had four facesman, lion, ox, and eagle. Jewish tradition interpreted this as follows:
Man is exalted among creatures the eagle is exalted among birds, the ox is exalted among domestic animals the lion is exalted among the wild beasts: and all of them have received dominion, and greatness has been given them, yet they are stationed below the chariot of the Holy One .
This is doubtless a symbolic representation of Jehovahs supremacy and sovereignty over the entire creation! There is not the remotest connection with space aliens.

Life In The Universe Aboundsbut The Fallen Angelics & Lucifer Work To Topple Mankind
Here is a radio show that includes my testimony along with a number of discussions regarding fallen angels or cursed beings, UFOs, other life forms and how this all fits together into an incredible story about Jesus Christ our awesome savior and our amazing Father God.
Toward the end of the radio program, Discovering Your Spirituality, the host, Kenneth Locklin, explains that he started a Blog Talk Radio show as a Bible Study but a caller from the United Kingdom challenged him saying
What Does The Bible Say About Aliens And Extraterrestrial Beings
There is a lot of unknowns in the universe out there. Space is vast and we cannot explore all that is out there. There have been movies made about astronauts, sci-fi themes, and aliens. As believers, it is important to have a viewpoint on what we believe about extraterrestrial beings. Today we will be exploring, what does the Bible say about aliens.

Can Christians Believe In Aliens
Orthodox Christians already believe in at least one form of intelligent life that exists and was not created on Earth: angels . For this reason, some Christians believe that, if aliens exist, they are a form of fallen angel . But is it possible that other forms of intelligent alien life exist in the universe?
The answer depends on how we interpret the Bible and what we believe about Gods sovereignty.
The Bible does not explicitly affirm or deny the existence of non-angelic extraterrestrial beings. Some take the position that this implies such beings not only do not exist but that they cannot exist. For instance, some have pointed to a statement in the Westminster Confession of Faith The whole counsel of God, concerning all things necessary for his own glory, mans salvation, faith, and life, is either expressly set down in Scripture, or by good and necessary consequence may be deduced from Scriptureand applied it to the issue of aliens. They claim that if aliens existed, God would have told us about such beings.
Other believers take the silence of Scripture as an opening from which we could conclude that it is possible such beings exist. Why would the Bible need to mention them if they were not to be discovered for 2,000 years after the founding of the church? Why would such knowledge be necessary when it would not affect billions of Christians throughout history?
Visions Of Godnot Ufos
Rather than relating to mysterious outer-space UFOs, these visions were breathtaking glimpses of the glory of Almighty God. Indeed, verses one and twenty-eight stand like guardian sentinels at the beginning and end of the chapter to prevent fanatical speculation as to the meaning of the narrative.
In the first verse, the prophet says:
I saw visions of God.
In the final verse he concludes:
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of Jehovah.

Does The Bible Refer To Ufos
Could you explain the reference in the book of Ezekiel chapter one about the wheel within a wheel? Some say that this is an allusion to ancient visitors to the Earth in flying saucers.
In recent times a few radical sensationalists have contended that centuries ago Earth was visited by space beings from distant planets. It has been alleged that evidence for such a notion is to be found not only in the archaeological records and monuments of antiquity but that the Bible also contains allusions to such.
For instance, in the book, Chariots of the Gods , Swiss author Erich von Daniken contended that Ezekiel 1 contains a biblical description of flying saucers visiting earth from outer space. However, careful study of this chapter thoroughly refutes von Danikens absurd theory.
The Birth Life And Death Of Christ
Perhaps the most famous Bible story of them all, the birth of Jesus Christ is said by some to be jam-packed with references to spaceships and alien visitors. Whatever the true origins of the story, where its roots lie, and what the actual interpretation might have been, if you are someone who is looking to discover alien activity in the Bible, then this is an account that will possibly have you chomping at the bit.
Mary discovering she is miraculously pregnant, for example, is often looked upon by some in the UFO field as an ancient description of an alien abduction, with the implanting of a fetus in Marys womb and instructions given to her under the guise of God.
The star that guides the Three Wise Men is another part of the story that is pointed to as describing extraterrestrial intervention. Even the strange visitors themselves have been the subject of theories as to their true identity in the ancient astronaut community.
In truth, the entire life of Jesus, if one chooses to see it in such a way, could be said to have been awash with alien abilities, from the many miracles He performed to the strange disappearance from His tomb after His death and His reappearance after that.

The Angels At Sodom And Gomorrah
The entire incident of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 19 could be argued to be an example of an account of advanced nuclear technology being used to level two sinful cities. Verse 26 speaks of Lots wife looking back and of how she became a pillar of salt. Then, verse 28 describes how Abraham views the ruined city: He looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace. Thats bizarrely similar to how a description of a nuclear explosion might look.
If we isolate some of the verses speaking of the angels who visit Lot, it is easy to see how they can be interpreted as extraterrestrials, who carry with them some kind of technological weapon no less.
After Lot brings the angels to his home, the entire crowd surrounds his property, demanding that they be brought out to them. Lot pleads with them to leave the angels beeven offering one his daughters to them instead! As the crowds begin to force their way into the property, verses 10 and 11 speak of how the angels blind the unruly mob:
But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.
Might the angels have used some kind of advanced device to blind their potential attackers?
The Parting Of The Red Sea
Before Moses could lead the Exodus that we looked at earlier in the list, he, of course, had to break free from his Egyptian enslavers, and part of that story is the parting of the Red Sea, which allowed the Israelites to cross to safety before the waters came crashing down on the Egyptian soldiers in pursuit.
Many ancient astronaut theorists have no doubt that the Exodus itself was guided by alien intelligence, so it is perhaps no surprise that they interpret a similar involvement in the parting of the Red Sea in order to allow Moses and the Israelites safe passage. Given that verse 16 speaks of Moses stretching out his hand, which caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind, it is easy to see why some perceive this to be the use of alien or advanced technology.
Incidentally, various media platforms have recently ran stories offering various suggestions about how this might have been achieved, mainly based on the idea of a freak weather incident. Also, Ron Wyatt made claims as far back as the 1970s that his study of the area turned up what he believed to be the remains of chariots as well as fossilized human remains.

How Should We Relate To Intelligent Aliens
We may or may not understand them, but as Christians we know they are fellow creatures. They might be friendly, indifferent, or violent toward us. But if they exist, they are creatures that God intended to create, just like life on Earth. As 20th century Christian leader Billy Graham said, I firmly believe there are intelligent beings like us far away in space who worship God. But we have nothing to fear from these people. Like us, they are Gods creation. . The God of the Bible is the God of all life in the cosmos, and thus we should treat that life with respect and care.
Sadly, most speculation about intelligent aliens leaves out God entirely. In science fiction, the major religions of Earth are rarely mentioned. Even more rare are stories in which the God of the Bible is also God of the alien species. If religion appears at all, it is often a mystical religion in a primitive alien culture, not something relevant for the human characters. A beautiful exception is The Sparrow, a novel by Mary Doria Russell in which a team of scientists and Jesuit priests travel to another planet to meet an intelligent species. Another is C.S. Lewis space trilogy, in which a human meets creatures on Mars and Venus who also know God.
Ufos Exist But What Are They
Are UFOs realand if so, what are they? Does the Bible speak of UFOs? Was God an ancient astronaut? Are we being visited by non-earthlings, and if so, who are they and what do they want? Who will ultimately rule space? You can know! And the answers will astound you!
In this supposed age of reason, public officials and scientists find themselves facing a new wave of interest in unexplained phenomena. UFO sightings, testimony about alien abductions, and government agencies dabbling in telepathy have produced a steady stream of headlines.
A 1996 Gallup Poll revealed that nearly 75 percent of Americans believe in UFOs and/or extraterrestrial life, and that 3 percent even believe theyve been abductedthats over 8,000,000 people!
The mysteries of parapsychology, life after death, crossing over, astrology, UFOs, and the occult are in these days, while traditional Christianity is considered out, old fashioned or even downright fraudulent. One reporter said nearly every person he met at UFO conferences and cults claim they used to belong to a Christian church. Generally, they left and began seeking other answers when a Christian parent or leader could notor would nottake their experiences and inquiry seriously enough to respond with sound biblical answers. You will be given strong biblical answers in this booklet.
The facts are in. Yes, UFOs are real! They exist! But what arethey? The answer may astound you!

Some Corrections / Updates:
And a couple of corrections to the show. In one of my fervent monologues I said there are 66 books mentioned in the Bible that are not in the 66 Book canon. That number is actually 22. There are 22 books mentioned in the Bible that are not present in the existing KJV.
Also toward the end of the show, I mention the recent discovery of a 300,000 ton carved granite rock in Russia. The actual size was estimated to be 3,000 . Here is a link to that article.
Also the name of the woman who met with Gene Roddenberry to channel information from the fallen elohim was Phyllis Schlemmer in the book The Only Planet of Choice.
God bless you.
Ancient Astronauts Hypothesis Of Creation
Proponents argue that the evidence for ancient astronauts comes from documentary gaps in historical and archaeological records, and they also maintain that absent or incomplete explanations of historical or archaeological data point to the existence of ancient astronauts. The evidence is argued to include archaeological artifacts that they deem anachronistic, or beyond the accepted technical capabilities of the historical cultures with which they are associated. These are sometimes referred to as “out-of-place artifacts” and include artwork and legends which are interpreted in a modern sense as depicting extraterrestrial contact or technologies.
Scholars have responded that gaps in contemporary knowledge are not evidence of the existence of ancient astronauts, and that advocates have not provided any convincing documentary or physical evidence of an artifact that might conceivably be the product of ETI contact. According to astrophysicist Carl Sagan, “In the long litany of ‘ancient astronaut’ pop archaeology, the cases of apparent interest have perfectly reasonable alternative explanations, or have been misreported, or are simple prevarications, hoaxes and distortions”.
