The Future Judgment Of The Believer
The coming of Christ will be an occasion of jubilation for all saints. When the graves are opened and the dead in Christ shall rise first and the living saints shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air, it will be a time such as attends the meeting of a bride with her bridegroom.
Believers never need fear a condemnatory judgment for sin. For every Christian this judgment is already past. When Jesus comes again He will have in His body the marks of crucifixion, and this will prove that the penalty for sin has been paid in full. Our Lord reassures us by His own word: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shallnot come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life . To this the Apostle Paul adds: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus . Our souls rest forever upon these eternal words of our God.
What Does The Bible Really Say About Judging Others
In ourlast post we examined the definitions, examples, and differences in using good judgment and being judgmental. In this article we take a look at specifically what the Bible says and means about judging others.
Jesus command not to judge others is one of the most widely quoted of His sayings, even though it is frequently quoted in disregard of its context. Here is Jesus statement: Do not judge, or you too will be judged . Many people use this verse in an attempt to silence their critics, interpreting Jesus meaning as You dont have the right to tell me Im wrong. Taken alone, Jesus command Do not judge does seem to preclude making negative assessments of others. However, there is much more to the passage than those three words.
The Bibles command that we not judge others does not mean we cannot show discernment. Immediately after Jesus says, Do not judge, He says, Do not give dogs what is sacred do not throw your pearls to pigs . A little later in the same sermon, He says, Watch out for false prophets. . . . By their fruit you will recognize them . How are we to discern who are the dogs and pigs and false prophets unless we have the ability to make a judgment call on doctrines and deeds? Jesus is giving us permission to tell right from wrong.
Later we are told to gently confront erring brothers or sisters in Christ . We are to practice church discipline . We are to speak the truth in love .
Judge Not That Ye Be Not Judged Bible Verse
Many people point to Matthew 7:1 and say, you see judging is a sin. We must read it in context. It is talking about hypocritical judging. For example, how can I judge you for being a thief, but I steal just as much or more? How can I tell you to stop having premarital sex when I still have premarital sex? I have to examine myself. Am I being a hypocrite?
4. Matthew 7:1-5 Do not judge, so that you wont be judged. For with the judgment you use, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck in your brothers eye but dont notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye, and look, theres a log in your eye? Hypocrite! First take the log out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brothers eye.
5. Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
6. Romans 2:1-2 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
7. Romans 2:21-22 therefore you who teach someone else, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

What Does The Bible Say About Judgment
It is a popular subject among Christians judgment. Not only is it popular but it is a subject that the Bible addresses often. There are many judgments in the Bible and depending upon whom you talk to, that number may change. However most will agree that judgment after life on this planet will be different depending upon whether or not you are a believer in Jesus Christ.
For the purpose of this article, I will be discussing only two judgments that are clearly based upon belief and unbelief in what Jesus did to atone for sins. Salvation is a free gift and is not based upon any good work . The Bible also speaks clearly that after salvation our works may earn rewards in Heaven. Lets take a look at some of the things I have studied regarding judgment. This article includes many Bible references so I encourage you to look up each scripture and compare them line upon line, precept upon precept. Let the Bible show you what the Bible says .
The Christians Works Will Be Tested
Let us pause to read carefully the Holy Spirits message concerning Christian work and its rewards:
For we are labourers together with God: ye are Gods husbandry, ye are Gods building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble Every mans work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire and the fire shall try every mans work of what sort it is. If any mans work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any mans work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved yet so as by fire .
The great Apostle refers to himself and all of his fellow-workers as labourers together with God. This is a wonderful truth when we realize that God does not actually need any one of us to do His work. It is not necessary that He should consider us at all to carry His Gospel, for He can carry out the whole plan of salvation without us. He could send His holy angels to spread redemptions message, or He could flash it across the skies to the visibility of every person in the universe, but He has chosen the believer to tell the story of His sovereign grace and matchless love.

Bible Verses About Judgement
To execute on them the judgment written This is an honor for all His godly ones.Praise the Lord!
Correct me, O Lord, but with justice Not with Your anger, or You will bring me to nothing.

Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes. Yet know that God will bring you to judgment for all these things.
The Accounts Are Settled
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death, and anyone not written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14-15. No wonder Jesus said that we should rejoice because our names are written in the Book of Life!
Then the accounts will have been settled, and everything put in its rightful place. Sin and death are finally gone forever. Out of all the affliction and misery, and in spite of Satans deceptive power, God, by His wisdom and might, has finished His work in the bride, the martyrs, and the sheep who have been gathered to Jesus right hand. These are the ones who are written in the Book of Life and will live eternally with the Father and the Son in the new heaven and the new earth.

Christian Judging The Meaning Of Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged
What does Jesus mean when He says, Judge not, that you be not judged. ?
For modern westerners, this single verse is one of the most misunderstood and, therefore, misapplied verses in all of Scripture. I grew up hearing this defense mechanism, Judge not, lest ye be judged, when someone pointed out sin in anothers life. Sometimes the confrontation was done with vain motives , but sometimes not. Nevertheless, either kind of attempt to expose and correct sin in another was blocked by misquoting Matthew 7:1 as a shield for sin.
But is that what the verse means, that no one can judge anyone else or, for that matter, even inform others about their sin, so that the one whom informs will not be judged themselves? Well, lets reason it out with the Scriptures.
1) God will judge every sin, and He will judge every sin no matter who you are . He can do this because He not only sees all we do He sees the true intentions of our heart . Thus, no amount of overlooking someone elses sin will cause God to overlook your sin.
This is not to shame or humiliate or to gain a superior spiritual standing over someone else. No, Jesus says the sin should be first confronted privately between you and him alone . We are to go and tell them so that we may love them, truly. The uncomfortable conversation must be had so that we may keep our brothers and sisters in Christ from the awful effects of sin and sins ultimate end: death and eternal condemnation .
Bible Verses About Judging Righteously
We are to judge, but we are not to judge by appearance. This is something that we all struggle with and we have to pray for help with. Whether we are at school, work, the grocery store, etc. We like to judge people by what we see, what they are wearing, what they are buying and this should not be. We see a poor person and think he got that way because he was an addict. We have to continually pray for help with the spirit of judgmentalism.
15. John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.
16. Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

The Judgment Seat Of Christ
This is a judgment for believers. Remember, it is not to determine salvation because that is already determined at the moment one believes the gospel of Jesus Christ. At that moment the believers destination is changed from Hell to Heaven . We know this because the Bible says For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . That means no one is good enough to be in the presence of God. Also, in Romans 6:23 we see that the wages of sin is death. That means that we not only fall short but we also owe the wage which is death. That death means death in Hell when we pass from this life. The good news is that Jesus paid our sin wage on the cross at Calvary and when we believe in what Jesus did, our sins past, present and future are washed away by His blood .
So then, since the believers destination is Heaven then we can know that the Judgment Seat of Christ is not about salvation. As a matter of fact, according to the Bible, believers are subject to this judgment to determine rewards in heaven. I like to look at the following as some references to the Judgment Seat of Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
… for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Bible Verses About Gods Final Judgement
Ecc 3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
Friends, pls hear this.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: All may not die, but at his return, this age will come to a close and there is going to be accountability. Believe it or not, every human being that ever set foot on this earth will assemble before the great King and the Judge, Jesus Christ, to give accounts of how you lived your life on this earth. Both the righteous, who are the believers in Christ, and the wicked, who are those who rejected Jesus.
Rev 2:18 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Listen, the good news is, the righteous, who are those who made Jesus their lord, whiles on this earth, have been acquitted and set free, even while they were on this earth before they died, why, because they accepted forgiveness of sins that Jesus offered them when he paid the price on their behalf.

Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged
As you can see, judging in the Bible can be a bit complex and confusing to understand!
God is the only judge and we will all face His judgment one day and have to account for our actions during the time we spend on earth. As Christians, we arent called to judge others in condemnation. We are called to love them and help them to turn away from the sinful things they may be doing.
It saddens me when I hear of someone who is lost being treated with disdain like they are less than human because of their particular sin. It saddens me, even more, when the church makes them feel unwelcome because the church is where the lost are supposed to turn to.
I know there was a time when I quickly passed judgment on others and to be honest, I still do sometimes without even realizing it because we are all human and subject to our sinful human nature. But I do try to make more of a conscious effort to stop myself and see them through the eyes of Jesus and not my own.
Those who are the furthest from sin need us to befriend and love them the most! No one ever came to be a Christ-follower because someone bullied them into it!

Why Does God Want Us To Understand The Judgments
God wants Christians to understand the truth of the judgments to both comfort and motivate them to godly living. He wants those who have not trusted in Christ to understand the judgments that this might motivate them to trust in Christ as their personal Savior because He bore the judgment for their sin in their place.
The Five Separate Future Judgments
Not all men will be judged at the same time and place. There are five future judgments.
1. The Judgment Seat of Christ. The first of these will be the judgment of the believers works, called The Judgment Seat of Christ. It is this judgment to which we shall give consideration in this chapter. But first, we shall outline the four future judgments that will follow the judgment of the believers works.
2. The Judgment of Regathered Israel.In Daniel 12:1 this judgment is called The Time of Jacobs Trouble. It will be the punishment of the Jews for their disobedience to God and their rejection of Jesus Christ. During the Tribulation Period and after the close of the present Age of Grace, Israel will pay for her sins, being afflicted with unprecedented misery and woe.
3. The Judgment of the Living Nations. At the end of the Tribulation Period, after Israel has been judged, the nations of earth will be judged by Christ and His Church. This judgment will not be against individuals but against nations for their treatment of the Jewish people. For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land .
