Our value and identity in Christ is much deeper than the beauty of a gorgeous palm tree on a sunny beach. As beautiful daughters created by our Father, our identity is found in the truth of Gods Word.
The enemy will try to deceive us as he did Eve in the garden. Satan attempts to plant seeds of doubt in our minds about our identity, influencing us to believe lies about who we really are. The enemy uses our past experiences, current circumstances, and the negative words and opinions of others to make us believe that we are worthless and insignificant.
But who does God say we are?
The voice of His truth is the only voice that matters, and the voice of a stranger we dare not follow . We must silence the lies of Satan by daily drenching ourselves in the truth of who we are in Christ through the lens of Scripture.
He Who Oppresses The Poor Shows Contempt For Their Maker But Whoever Is Kind To The Needy Honors God
Jesus focused on the poor and marginalized during His earthly ministry. While He was a king, he embraced the lowly and called the disciples to do the same. There are countless examples in the Bible of His commitment to helping those in need, and His desire for us to model the same love in our lives. Jesus warns us about ignoring those in need. John 3:17 tells us If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? We have a calling to help those who need help most.
In Christ I Am A Work In Progress
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus, Philippians 1:6
Of course, just because God made us doesnt mean that any of us are perfect . But the good news is God isnt done with us yet! God doesnt just leave us in our sin. He sanctifies us and makes us holy . He works on our hearts more and more every day.

Gods Grace Sustains All Ministry In Christ
Now, third, Gods grace sustains all ministry in Christ. We saw this last time, and so I will only point it out and close with two applications. Verse 6: Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us. What we are in our differing individuality we are by grace. You may not think so. You may not approve of what God has made of you for the sake of his body. You may think he made a mistake. Or that he is cruel. I dont think that is mainly a self-esteem issue. Its mainly a God-esteem issue. Will you trust himthat your individuality is a work of grace. You are a gift of grace to the church. You will find that when you start loving the church in practical ways.
In Christ I Am Victorious
But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57
Whatever youre facing today whether its the lies on the inside or the tough circumstances on the outside its not too much for God and its not too much for you. God will give you the victory when you follow Him! No matter what circumstances youre facing, God always provides a way out. God is working everything out for your good.
Ask it. Who am I in Christ? Now say it with me! I am who God says I am!
The battle may not be over, but the winner has already been decided. You are victorious!

Christ lives in us from the time were saved, but He wants to be formed in us in a definite way by growing in us. Day by day, we need to give Him the opportunity to grow and be formed in us. As we do, Christ will be able to express Himself more fully through us in our daily life.

Life in Christ is filled with surprises, miracles, and joy. Its in Christ that we have peace. Disappointment and loss are part of our story. We dont always understand why God allows certain things to happen. What we do know, is that God has a purpose for our life. Our assurance in this sets us free from insecurity and gives us a life of security.
Truth 4 I am a Minister of Gods Word Because of What Jesus Did on the Cross.
In Christ we have forgiveness and we are obligated to deliver God’s salvation message to others. We are saved and changed so that all can know the good news of the gospel. We were not saved just to sit around all quiet about it.
