Ontological Argument For Gods Existence
There are many forms of the Ontological Argument, all of which are very complex and many have been abandoned by modern theist apologists. In its simplest form the argument works from the idea of God to the reality of God.
Since man believes that God exists, God must exist. Man could not have an idea of God in the mind if the reality of God did exist. Since this argument is so complex, and since most find it unpersuasive, this briefest of summaries is probably sufficient.

How Do We Choose The Correct Ultimate Standard
Since we must appeal to some ultimate standard, the next question is how to determine the right one.
Oneand only onelogical solution is available. The standard itself must be self-attesting and self-authenticating. In other words, it must speak for itself and defend itself in such a way that it passes all its own standards of truth and gives a foundation for successfully interpreting all other claims to truth.
Even before modern logicians recognized this limitation to every logical argument, Gods Word had already acknowledged and solved it.
Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, said, I am the truth
Gods word is truth
. Jesus claimed to define what truth is, and He said Gods Word is the ultimate judge of truth . No truth exists apart from Him. As the Bible explains it, In him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge
. So the Bible clearly claims an exalted position as the ultimate authority.
Moreover, Gods Word concludes that all other standards outside of Christ must be empty because they depend on the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ
. For the Bible to appeal to any other authority would be to deny its own place as the ultimate standard.

Is The Bible A True Story
Despite feverish searching with Scripture in one hand and cutting-edge technology in the other, evidence backing the Bible remains elusive. But there are some surprising anomalies
Beauty and biblical evidence both lie in the eye of the beholder, it seems. No evidence of the events described in the Book of Genesis has ever been found. No city walls have been found at Jericho, from the appropriate era, that could have been toppled by Joshua or otherwise. The stone palace uncovered at the foot of Temple Mount in Jerusalem could attest that King David had been there or it might belong to another era entirely, depending who you ask.
Archaeologists always hope that advances in technology will shed fresh light on at least part of this ancient mystery: Did the Bible really happen? So far, what discoveries there are, tend to indicate that at the least, the timelines are off.

Eternity In Our Hearts
All the things that this world has to offer will never truly satisfy us. In our hearts we know that there is more to life than this. We know that there is a life after this. We all have a sense of a higher power. When I was an unbeliever I had more than others in my age group, but I was never truly satisfied until I put my trust in Jesus Christ. I know now that this is not my home. I feel homesick sometimes because I long for my true home in Heaven with the Lord.

These two realities are profound and undeniable scientific proof of God. I know that many who hate the idea of a God, will do all they can to escape this reality. But no matter how hard we yell that it is not true, no matter if we stand on our head or throw rocks at those who point out this scientific truth, it wont change it one bit.

The New Testament Evidence
The elimination of the OT leaves only the New Testament evidence and extrabiblical material to be considered. Essentially, the NT is composed of two types of documents: letters and would-be biographies . A third category of writing, apocalyptic,Note C of which the Book of Revelation is an example, also exists, but it gives no support for the historicity of Jesus. In fact, it would appear to be an intellectual fossil of the thought-world from which Christianity sprang a Jewish apocalypse that was reworked for Christian use.Citation 8 The main character of the book would seem to be the Lamb, an astral being seen in visions , and the book overall is redolent of ancient astrology.Citation 9
The name Jesus occurs only seven times in the entire book, Christ only four times, and Jesus Christ only twice! While Revelation may very well derive from a very early period , the Jesus of which it whispers obviously is not a man. He is a supernatural being. He has not yet acquired the physiological and metabolic properties of which we read in the gospels. The Jesus of Revelation is a god who would later be made into a man not a man who would later become a god, as liberal religious scholars would have it.

Yet God does not demand blind faith. Our faith is reasonable. In fact, it is the only logical and reasonable choice available to mankind. And explaining that simple fact is the secret to a biblical defense of the Bible.
