Bible Prophecy: Iran Will Attack Israel

God warns Iran , with Russia , and a coalition of allies will attack and will invade Israel. In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible warns this coming war between Iran and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation this prophetic war has never yet taken place the only time in history Persia has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD.

EDGAR CAYCE : IF THERE WILL BE A WORLD WAR III IT WILL START IN DAMASCUS !

This War will be unlike any other war in history this war will unleash a series of irreversible events which will change the world forever. God has set aside two whole chapters in the Bible to warn Mankind of this coming war.

EDGAR CAYCE : THE HOPE OF THE WORLD WILL BE IN THE HANDS OF RUSSIA !

EZEKIEL 38:1-10

Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Son of man, set your face against Gog , of the land of Magog , the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal and prophesy against him, and say

BABA VANGA : WORLD WAR III WILL START IN NOVEMBER 2010 !

Thus says the Lord GOD :

Behold, I am against you, O Gog , the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords .

Q: Are There Places In Scripture Where We May Replace Israel With The Church

No. This would be an example of men attempting to force their misconceptions into scripture. The Jewish Bible writers were perfectly capable of speaking clearly concerning Israel, and meaning what they said.

However, some people get the idea that this word substitution is justified by Romans 9:6-8:

6But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel 7nor are they all children because they are Abrahams descendants, but: THROUGH ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED. 8That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.

From this, some people may think that the word Israel doesnt really refer to the nation Israel , but to the church . Therefore , we can sometimes substitute the Church where we see the word Israel. But this thinking is illogical.

Paul quickly explains the correct meaning of his statement: He is using the name Israel to refer to two distinct, but related, groups of people chosen by God:

God chose the Jewish nation to be the deliverers of Gods promise to the world They are the children of the flesh. God chooses people from all nations to be the recipients of that promise delivered by the Jews These are the children of the promise.

The Bible’s many chapters outline a prophetic timeline of events that will lead to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. From the Rapture and Tribulation to the final war between good and evil, Armageddon, Christians worldwide await the day of the Messiah’s return. In Matthew 24, Jesus told his disciples of wars and rumours of war, natural cataclysms and Christian persecution that will precede His Second Coming.

God Promises To Bless And Protect

Third, God promised to protect the nation of Israel. God promised to bless those nations who bless Israel. But anyone who seeks to harm Israel will be cursed. This is the reason to support Israel. Any nation in the world who seeks to harm Israel will find Gods wrath upon it. Gods wrath will come when He chooses. For some it will not occur until the end of the world . Another important passage is found in Gen. 27:29. It has the same idea of Genesis 12:2-3.

Rise Of The Antichrist

Oct. 27, 2020

Everyone wants to know everything yesterday. We even want to know about tomorrow yesterday.

Questions about the Antichrist fill my mailbox Is he alive? What is his name? Where will he be born? Is it ?

This column will concentrate on how the Antichrist comes to world dominance.

The Antichrist will rise to power through the aftermath of an invasion of Israel. Suppose you think the Middle East is a hotbed with Israel at the center of all the tension. In that case, you are right, but what the Bible says will happen will make what has already happened look like a playground fight between second graders.

Psalm 83 records an invasion of Israel. Some scholars believe this battle has already taken place. Others believe it is the same as the invasion of Ezekiel 38-39. The problem with these interpretations is: in thinking that fulfillment of the passage has already taken place the prophecy states that fire destroys the participants in the attack . The nations involved: Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan are still here. This destruction by fire of Israels enemies is also prophesied in Amos chapters one and two.

As far as Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 being the same invasion, there is a huge problem. Not one single invader is in both passages. It appears highly likely that the destruction by fire of Psalms occurs before the passage in Ezekiel.

Following is a list of the invasion party .

Old Testament Promises Of Protection In End Times

There are several prophecies that tell us that in the end times, enemy nations will surround Jerusalem, but God will come to its defense. Some of these prophecies are discussed as part of the sixth bowl event in chapter 16. This protection corresponds to Revelation 12, where we see the remnant of Israel being protected during the 3 1/2 years of great tribulation . Some other related prophecies are as follows:

Zech 9:14-16 14Then the LORD will appear over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning And the Lord GOD will blow the trumpet, And will march in the storm winds of the south. 15The LORD of hosts will defend them. And they will devour and trample on the sling stones And they will drink and be boisterous as with wine And they will be filled like a sacrificial basin, Drenched like the corners of the altar. 16And the LORD their God will save them in that day As the flock of His people For they are as the stones of a crown, Sparkling in His land.

This speaks of a day when the Lord appears over Israel to defend them and save them. This defense of Israel is describing the battle of Armageddon which we see described in Revelation.

Zechariah later gave an even more profound prophecy of protection for Israel, shown below:

Why Is Jerusalem A Flashpoint

The city, with its sacred sites, is the most sensitive place of all in the decades-old conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.

Alongside its religious importance are national claims – Israel in effect annexed East Jerusalem and considers the entire city its capital, though this is not recognised by most other countries.

Palestinians claim the eastern half as the capital of a hoped-for state of their own.

The hilltop compound containing the al-Aqsa mosque and buttressed by the Jewish holy site of the Western Wall is especially sensitive, with both Israel and Palestinians wary of each other’s intentions and activities there.

Israel says the current violence there was planned “well in advance” by Palestinian extremists, though a series of events has driven unrest in Jerusalem.

Palestinian anger fuelled in the past few days by the uncertain fate of the families in Sheikh Jarrah came after a month of escalating tensions in the city.

After Ramadan began in mid-April, clashes erupted nightly between police and Palestinians protesting against security barriers outside Damascus Gate, worsening after a march by ultra-nationalist Jewish extremists angry over assaults by Palestinians on ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Genesis And Violence At Creation

cylinder sealEnûma Eli

In 1895 Hermann Gunkel observed that most Ancient Near Eastern creation stories contain a theogony depicting a god doing combat with other gods thus including violence in the founding of their cultures. For example, in the Babylonian creation epic Enuma Elish, the first step of creation has fighting and killing Tiamat, a chaos monster, to establish order.:45,16,18 Kenneth A. Mathews says, “It has been typical of scholarship since Gunkel’s Schöpfung und Chaos to interpret Genesis 1’s subjugation of ‘the deep’ and division of the ‘waters’ as a remnant of the battle motif between Marduk and watery Tiamat, which was taken up by the Hebrew author and demythologized, most contemporary scholars now see the association of the Hebrew tehôm with Tiamat as superficial.” “The fact was likely part of the last stages of the creation of the Pentateuch may indicate that the portrait of God in Gen. 1:12:4a was normative for those who gave the Old Testament canon its present shape. Hence, it seems that the account of God creating without violence in Gen. 1:12:4a now serves as the overture to the entire Bible, dramatically relativizing the other cosmologies.”:4

New Testament Doctrine About Israel And The Church

BREAKING! THE GOSPEL OF YESHUA JESUS BEING ATTACKED IN ISRAEL! MESSIANIC RABBI ZEV PORAT ANSWERS

The primary teaching about Israel and its relationship to the church is found in Pauls epistle to the Romans, chapter 11. This chapter alone obliterates any notion that Israel has lost its relevance to God.

Side Note: Lamentably, some people who insist that Israel is irrelevant will actually argue that Romans 11 is allegorical. This is absurd, since there are no justifiable allegorical substitutions of terms that make sense in the context of chapter 11. Besides that, its inconceivable that Paul, while writing a letter to the church in Rome for the purpose of explaining Christian doctrine, would suddenly switch to the use highly cryptic allegory in this part of his letter.

Romans 11 begins with Paul, a Jew, addressing the Gentile Christians in Rome, as follows:

Rom 11:1a I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be!

Paul is adamant that Israel has not been rejected by God. He goes on in Rom 11:2-5 to explain that God will have a faithful remnant in Israel even if it is not obvious that they are there.

Rom 11:7 What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

Paul says that there are some chosen among Israel to obtain the truth about the Christ, but the rest were hardened, having rejected the Christ.

Next, Paul brings up the salvation of the Gentiles:

Paul then uses this metaphor to make two very strong points to Gentile Christians:

Iran Tensions Could Fulfill Prophecies About The End Of The World Some Religious Teachers Say

Smoke and flames have turned Australias skies blood-red, and wildfires still rage. Dozens of people died in recent floods in Jakarta, and Puerto Rico was hit with a series of earthquakes.

The torrent of troubling news swelled in the early days of 2020, as tensions with Iran flared after the United States killed Irans Maj. Gen. Qasem Soleimani in an airstrike in Baghdad. Late Tuesday, President Trump sought to ease Americans fears by tweeting, All is well!

But as conflict in the Middle East intensified and natural disasters struck, some voices are taking the opportunity to offer biblical interpretations. Religious teachers and authors, especially some conservative Christians, often draw on these kinds of current events as examples of how various predictions and descriptions in the Old and New Testaments could be coming true.

Many of these religious leaders view actions in Iran, a Muslim-majority country, as playing a special role in these predictions, which usually focus on the apocalypse, or the end of days.

California-based prophecy writer Bill Salus told viewers this week on the show Prophecy Watchers that Iran is the elephant in the room in the Middle East hes the bully. Salus suggested on the show that God is angry with the current Iranian leadership and that Christians should watch recent events as likely to fulfill biblical prophecies.

Still, many conservative Christians continue to show deep interest in end-time prophecy.

Why Did The Israelites Take 40 Years To Reach The Promised Land

This was considered a grave sin by God. Corresponding to the 40 days that the spies toured the land, God decreed that the Israelites would wander in the wilderness for 40 years as a result of their unwillingness to take the land. God brought victories where needed, and his promise to Abraham was fulfilled.

With Tensions Between Christians Jews And Arabs What Lies Ahead For Jerusalem Will Peace Come What Does The Bible Say About Jerusalem In Prophecy

What does the Bible say about Jerusalem in prophecy?

Founded approximately 3,000 years ago, the city of Jerusalem has long been considered a holy city of peacea concept embodied in its name. Although there is no consensus among scholars on the exact meaning of Jerusalem, the oldest known form, Uru-sa-lim, has been considered by many to mean either the City of Peace or the City of Salem, but other interpreters, considering the name as of Hebrew origin, interpret it as the possession of peace or foundation of peace .

But there has been little peace for the residents of this famous city. Ironically, through the centuries this city has been the site of numerous conflicts. According to Eric H. Cline, the city has been destroyed at least twice, besieged 23 times, attacked an additional 52 times, and captured and recaptured 44 times .

While the history of Jerusalems conflicts is easily documented, the following questions are often asked today: What lies ahead for this famous city in the end times? Will there be more strife or will it finally find the peace suggested in its name? What does the Bible say about Jerusalem in prophecy?

To answer these questions, lets begin with an overview of tensions today.

Q: Did The Church Replace Israel As Gods Representatives On Earth

Lee Strobel

In a partial sense, perhaps, but its not as if Israel is excluded from being Gods representatives. Its just that Christ is the cornerstone of Gods plan to redeem humanity, and therefore anyone who denies this is not representing God. The Church consists of those who represent God by truthfully proclaiming Gods plan through Christ the Savior. At this time, the great majority of the nation Israel denies Christ as the Savior.

As discussed above, we could say that the church didnt really begin with New Testament events it began when Israel was called to represent God. However, the word church was first applied to those Jews who succeeded in that calling by recognizing Christ as the promised Messiah. Those Jews faithfully proclaimed the truth of Gods plan of salvation through Christ. Only later did the church begin to include people from other nations.

In short, its not really a matter of the church replacing Israel as Gods representatives on earth. The church is the uninterrupted continuation of that calling to represent God, and that calling may be carried out by both Jews and Gentiles.

Some Christians hold to a view called Replacement theology , which asserts that Israel has simply been replaced by the church. But this view is an unnecessary and unwarranted extreme that abuses scripture and ignores history along the way.

Q: Should Christians Fault Israel For Their Failures Especially For Killing Christ

No. Did the Jewish religious leaders conspire to have Jesus crucified? Has most of Israel since then rejected Jesus their Messiah? Yes, to both questions, and it seems that many Gentile Christians like to point these faults. Some thus look upon Israel with disdain, and sometimes even teach that God has permanently rejected Israel as His representatives.

But nowhere are Gentile Christians given permission to rebuke Israel for this. On the contrary, Paul warned them to not be arrogant toward Israel not become conceited .

One example of Gentile Christian arrogance is to view Israel with disdain and make claims on Gods behalf concerning His permanent rejection of Israel. One example of Gentile Christian conceit is to be prideful enough to believe that they would have been wiser and acted more righteously than Israel did. And even if they were wiser, what then would the result be? That Jesus would never have been killed? Then what becomes of Gods plan for the redemption of sinners, which depends entirely on Christ being killed for our sins?

Let us not be fools who are fooling ourselves. Israel did not fail in the purpose that God had prepared for them, nor could they have failed because Gods purposes are inexorable. From Israel came the scriptures of truth and the Savior. Even when Israel fails, God uses their failures for His purposes. One purpose for their failures is to be examples for us to learn from:

Lifted From The Bible

Numerous accounts of wars and battles that involved ancient Israel, Judah, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon and other powers in the region are recorded in the Bible and other ancient sources. Some of these conflicts may never have taken place, while others occurred but didn’t have the results that the Bible claims. Here’s a look at tales from 12 “biblical” ancient wars and battles.
