If youre anything like me, you have battled some form of fear or anxiety for much of your life. As a child, I was afraid of so many things and my stomach was often in knots. It continued on through young adulthood when an encounter with God changed everything for me. I was set free and it was amazing.
And then I became a mommy and it all came flooding back. I had whole new area of life I needed to conquer fear in. Can you relate? I guess, for me, conquering fear will be a matter of letting Jesus take me from glory to glory , and I carry with me great anticipation of victory and perfect healing.
Sometimes fear and anxiety can make you feel so alone, weak, and isolated. But the truth is, so many people struggle in these areas.
Did you know that Fear is mentioned over 500 times in the bible? Jesus was CONSTANTLY telling his own disciples not to fear!
To give you a point of reference, love is mentioned 310 times and faith is mentioned 336 times . Clearly God had a lot to tell us about fear and He desires to equip His children to overcome it.

I read words – of life – of truth. Soaking them in, over and over, praying them out loud. Until they became so familiar, they replaced the other things in my mind that Id battled against. Theres nothing magical about words and verses, but there is power through them because theyre Gods words.
Change happened. Anxious thoughts began to diminish. Worry let go of its constant grip. And though fear is sometimes still there, it no longer wields control, holding me back, paralyzing me in its grasp.

Dont let Satan steal your joy. Satan gives us a spirit of fear, but God gives us a different spirit. He gives us a spirit of power, peace, self-control, love, etc. When your joy comes from circumstances, that is always an open door for Satan to plant fear in you.

Today, we are looking for burning bushes, miracles, and wonders. Please understand that I am not saying that God doesnt give signs and do amazing miracles, because He does. However, the righteous shall live by faith! Without faith you cant please God.
Our faith shouldnt last until bedtime and then we start worrying again. No! God Im going to take your Word for it. Here I am God. Help my unbelief! God is trying to produce a remarkable faith in you. Some of you are in a battle right now. Youre a testimony to the world. What testimony do you give when youre murmuring about everything? When all you do is complain youre bringing out negative energy that affects not only you, it affects those around, and it affects those seeking God.
