What The Bible Says About Childrens Death

What does the Bible say about Heaven? (Part 1)

Children Losing Their Lives Can Be Grieved Through The Bible He will wipe every tear in their eyes the loss of a child can be grieved through the Bible He will wipe every tear from their eyes. Jesus, however, answered, Let the little children go to me and do not hinder them, which gives rise to this heavenly kingdom. Matthew 18:00. In other words, my Father whose will has always maintained these small kids shouldnt guide One of them to his death.

The Truth About Life After Death Provides Hope And Comfort

While it may be comforting to those coping with the death of loved ones to think of them as looking down from heaven, this belief is not supported by the Bible. Instead, Gods Word comforts us with the fact that God will raise them to life again, and all will have a chance to become children of God, who will live happy, productive and abundant lives forever!

In the meantime, there is no suffering in the grave. The dead have no thoughts or consciousness and are unaware of the passage of time. They are sleeping in their graves.

But God promises they will live again! When the dead are resurrected, it will be as though they have awakened from a deep sleep.

Paul likened the perception of the dead from the time they die to the time they are resurrected as like a moment, in the twinkling of an eye . That means that the time between death and resurrection is like a split second to the personthe blink of an eye.

When the dead are resurrected, it will feel like their death occurred a moment agoeven though their death could have occurred hundreds of years before!

We can take great comfort in knowing that when they awaken, they will rise in a much different world, a world that Jesus Christ and the resurrected saints will have been ruling.

So, to summarize, do we go to heaven when we die?

The Bible answers this question very clearly: No. Only Jesus Christ has gone to heaven. Human beings dont go to heaven or hell at death.

A Great Storm In Heaven & The Ark Of The Covenant

Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail .

There is something absolutely majestic about watching a storm from afar. The intensity of lightning and deep rumbling of thunder reminds us of Gods matchless power and sovereignty over all of creation. Beyond our human understanding, the thunderings of heaven will be unlike the most powerful storm weve ever experienced. Gods majesty will be proclaimed throughout the entire universe. His voice will thunder throughout the heavens.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters the God of glory thunders the Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful the voice of the Lord is full of majesty .

At last, the temple of the Lord will be opened and the ark of the covenant will be seen again. For His covenant is everlasting and His kingdom will have no end.

and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end .

How Can I Be Sure I Am Going To Heaven

This is the most important question of all. Here is a wonderful truth: God has made it easy for you to go to heaven. He did the hard part when he sent his Son to die on the Cross for you. He paid the price for your sins so that you could one day stand before God in heaven. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” . He also said, “I am the door if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved” . Jesus is not only the way to heaven, he is also the door to heaven. If you want to go to heaven, you’ve got to go through the door marked “Jesus Christ.” There is no other entrance.

Suppose you were to die and found yourself standing at the door of heaven. If God were to say, ‘Why should I let you into heaven?’ what answer would you give?

Picture the scene. You are standing at the very gates of heaven. It’s more beautiful than you ever dreamed possible. This is where you want to spend eternity. This is where you belong. But before you enter, the Lord himself asks what possible reason you have to claim admission. You pause, knowing that all eternity hangs on your answer. What will you say?

Let me make this very personal. If you were to die tonight, do you know for certain that you would go to heaven? I’ve already said that this is too important to say “I think so” or “I hope so.” If you’re wrong, you’re going to be wrong for a long, long time.

All Nations And People Will Worship Jesus

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

The triumphal entry, mentioned in the Gospels, portrayed Jesus riding on a donkey into the city of Jerusalem. The Jews had lined the streets with their cloaks, waving palm branches and praising God for the miracles they had seen Jesus perform .

when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out: Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! The King of Israel!

However, as Jesus saw them, He wept, For He knew they did not truly understand who He was.

And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace!

In heaven, there will be no confusion about the Prince of Peace. Every saint, from every tribe and tongue will be clothed in robes of white, waving palm branches of genuine praise.

Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

What The Bible Teaches

In the Bible, the word heaven has more than one meaning. For example:

  • Genesis 1:20 describes the creation of birds that fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens. In this case, the word heavens refers to our atmosphere, the observable sky.

  • Isaiah 13:10 mentions the stars of the heavens and their constellationswhat we would call outer space.

  • The Bible speaks of Gods dwelling place in the heavens and says that there are angels in heaven. Note that the words heavens and heaven are not simply metaphors, but describe an actual place of residence. *

Look down from heaven and see from your lofty abode of holiness and glory.

Many people have been thrilled to learn what the Bible really teaches about heaven. For example, a former Catholic named George says: I found the Bible teaching about living forever on earth to be comforting. It made more sense than going to heaven. *

As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.Psalm 115:16.

^ par. 13 Of course, Gods nature is spiritual, not physical. Hence, his dwelling place must be a spiritual realm separate from our physical or tangible universe.

^ par. 19 The term new earth is not a literal new planet rather, it is a symbolic term referring to a society of people living on the earth who receive Gods approval.

What Does Bible Say About Heaven

For the majority of the people, the word Heaven conjures up the image of the white-clad angels sitting around on the clouds playing the harps: an old-style Philadelphia cheese advert on the asteroids. But this is that really what the Bible tells us to await us just beyond the grave? So what does the Bible actually say about life after death?

Lets start with the clouds and the angels, an idea that owes much less to Christianity than it does to the 2nd-century religious movement called Gnosticism.

The Gnostics hated the body with all of its longings and urges. But, for all of them, death was a stunning release: freed from its body, the soul cloud may soar heavenward and float very uncorrupted just forever among the clouds with just the angels, ad the presumably the Philadelphia

So what does the Bible tell us about that what happens when we die? Well, perhaps the most important thing which it says, is that Heaven is just not the final destination for the Christians after the death, And heres something else that might also surprise you: the Bible does not talk just about very much about going to the heaven when we will die at all.

Instead of just how to get the Heaven when we die and the Gnostic cloudy floaty idea of the disembodied souls, Jesus and the early Christians also taught that after when we die, we could also look forward to the complete bodily resurrection.

The Struggle Of Sin Will Finally Be Over

One of the greatest things that we have to look forward to is that the struggle over sin will finally be over. We all struggle with sin every day. We know that in the kingdom of heaven nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lambs book of life . This is only possible because of Jesus. We have no fear of being judged for our sin because it was already judged and taken away at the cross by Christ. We will have heavenly bodies, free from sin. We will no longer face the challenges and limitations we face one earth.

Can you imagine what our first glimpse of heaven will be like? It will cause us to gasp with amazement and delight. That first gasp will likely be followed by many more as we continually encounter new sights in that endlessly wonderful place. We know from Scripture that Heaven is not only a real place, but also a dwelling place of God. His throne is there, the angels are there, and the Lord Jesus Christ is there. What greater place do we have to look forward to?

If Our Loved Ones Are In Hell Won’t That Spoil Heaven

In we’ll see clearly that God revealed Himself to each person and that He gave opportunity for each heart or conscience to seek and respond to Him . Everyone deserves hell no one deserves heaven. Jesus went to the cross to offer salvation to all . God is absolutely sovereign and doesn’t desire any to perish . Yet many will perish in their unbelief .

In heaven, we’ll embrace God’s holiness and justice. God will be our source of joy. Hell’s small and distant shadow will not interfere with God’s greatness or our joy in Him. All of this should motivate us to share the gospel of Christ with family, friends, neighbors and the whole world.

Heaven Will Be A City Built For Worship

Heaven what does the bible say about

But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect .

This Bible passage is rich with beautiful and detailed descriptions of heaven. The city of the living God, will be a spectacular place according to Gods perfect design. And, as one writer put it, the heavenly Jerusalem will be a place of unimagined blessing.

Those registered in heaven, having been made perfect by Jesus sacrifice on the cross, will assemble with an innumerable company of angels before their most holy God. To try and picture the multitudes spread out before the Living God is amazing, and altogether incomprehensible.

Mount Zion, the city of David and the eternal possession of God Most High, will be the holy city where all will assemble to worship Him.

At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the Lord, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the Lord, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts .

Jesus Leads Armies Clothed In White On White Horses 1: 11

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses .

Rider on a white horse, Faithful and True the Lord Jesus will ride from heaven with His armies dressed in white. The King of Kings, wearing many crowns, will ultimately come to judge the nations. With eyes like flames of fire, His righteousness will penetrate every single heart.

There will be no mistake about who Jesus is or what He has done. His robe, dipped in blood, will be a testament to His perfect sacrifice on the cross. And every knee will bow, every tongue will confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father .
