Now this is what the Lord says- the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who formed you, Israel- Do not fear, for I have redeemed you I have called you by your name you are Mine.

Although Israel doubted God repeatedly, God never abandoned them. But this promise to the Jewish nation also applies to us believers today.
We have been created by the Lord we are new creations in Christ, children of God, members of Christs body, and ambassadors of heaven.
God makes us understand that when we are sad in heart, we should not be afraid, for I have rescued you I have called you by your name you are Mine.
These words of comfort, uttered by God to the nation of Israel, can be applied to Christians today.
Why Do We Feel Sad And Alone
There could be many reasons for us to feel lonely. It could be missing family and loved ones when we are separated. It could be a loss of someone or something important, rejection, or simply finding life to be difficult.
Most of the reasons why we feel lonely are rooted in our attachment to earthly things. We worry about losing our jobs or money, and we are afraid of being abandoned by people with whom we share borrowed time. None of the things we possess on earth are meant to be ours forever. When we realize that and seek heavenly connections instead, that is when we feel whole again.

What Does The Bible Say About Sadness
The Bible says that sadness is a reality in our fallen world, where Gods design has become corrupted by sin. Ecclesiastes 1:18 declares, For with much wisdom comes much sorrow the more knowledge, the more grief. In John 16:33, Jesus guarantees that in this world you will have trouble. However, in that same verse, Jesus also promises But take heart! I have overcome the world. He also promises: in me you may have peace in that verse. God cares about sadness and offers humanity help in the midst of it. In his earthly life as Jesus, God experienced sorrow regularly. Isaiah 53:3-4 describes Jesus in a way that highlights his sadness: He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering.

We have been told by prophet Joel that for the years that cankerworm and caterpillar have eaten, that God will restore it.
You may wonder, which one is the years eaten by cankerworm and caterpillar, this refers to the troubles we go through, the different challenges and disappointments we will face.
God has promised us that He will restore those years back into our life so we wont have any wasted years in our journey on earth.
