Demons often disguise themselves, which is why God forbids participation in the occult, seances, Ouija boards, witchcraft, channeling, or the spirit world .
Satan and demons cannot possess a Christian . Believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit however, unbelievers are not under the same divine protection.
While Satan and demons cannot read a believer’s mind, these ancient beings have been observing humans for thousands of years and are experts in the craft of temptation. They can influence people to sin.
The Apostle Paul was often attacked by Satan and his demons as he carried out his missionary work. Paul used the metaphor of the Full Armor of God to instruct Christ followers in how to withstand demonic attacks. In that lesson, the Bible, represented by the sword of the spirit, is our offensive weapon to cut down these unseen enemies. An invisible war of good vs. evil is going on all around us, but it’s important to remember that Satan and his demons are a defeated enemy, conquered by Jesus Christ on Calvary. The outcome of this conflict has already been decided. At the end of time, Satan and his demonic followers will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire.
How Is Satan Described In Paradise Lost
In John Miltons Paradise Lost Satan is portrayed as proud, manipulative, and vengeful against God, whom he sees as a powerful oppressor. Some Romantic poets saw Satan as the real hero of the poem and applauded his rebellion against God.
Satan, in the three major Abrahamic religions , the prince of evil spirits and adversary of God. Satan is traditionally understood as an angel who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven with other fallen angels before the creation of humankind. Ezekiel 28:1418 and Isaiah 14:1217 are the key Scripture passages that support this understanding, and, in the New Testament, in Luke 10:18 Jesus states that he saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. In all three major Abrahamic religions, Satan is identified as the entity that tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden and was thus the catalyst for the fall of humankind.

Tell Them To Choose Their Friends Very Carefully In This Life
Tell them to look for God to bring in some good, true, God-friends into their lives so they will have other Spirit-filled believers to fellowship with and to share their walk with if they do not have many good God-friends at this time.
When people have demons on the inside of them, sometimes the demons will try and isolate that person over the period of time they are in them so they do not develop many good friendships with other people, especially with other solid Christians.
Also advise them that God is probably going to take out some of the bad and negative people who are still in their lives. If you had them break any ungodly soul ties when you were dealing with their legal rights earlier on, then chances are, God may also want some of those bad people out of their lives for good if that will be at all possible.

Jesus Casts Out Demons

If you have your Bibles, I would invite you to turn with me to Matthew chapter 8. The Lord Jesus Sermon on the Mount is recorded from chapter 5 to chapter 7, giving us the words of life and the way of life. Chapters 8 and 9 of Matthew, miracles, mighty attesting signs of the Lord Jesus Christ, are performed so that the word of life is set side by side with the powerful deeds of Christ, thus attesting to the fact that He is indeed the very Son of God, the Messiah, the Christ, sent from God for the sins of the world
Our Lord and our God, we know that this word is not recorded simply to cause us interest, nor even to give us an accurate account of the deeds of our Lord Jesus Christ, though it does that, and we praise You for it. This word is written for our instruction, for our counsel, for our admonition. So teach us the spiritual truths contained in it, and by the spirit apply it to our hearts. For we ask it in Jesus name. Amen.
Secondly, notice that in the first half of verse 31, it is clear that the demons acknowledge that Christ has the power to cast them out of these two poor men so afflicted. They never attempt a strategy to resist being cast out. They only attempt to mitigate where Jesus is going to send them once he does cast them out. He is sovereign.
Believers Cannot Be Demon Inhabited
Can believers be demon inhabited? This is a question which many ask. Theologically considered, it is hard to believe that it is possible that a believer can both be a dwelling place for a demon and the temple of the indwelling Holy Spirit . However, there is every reason to believe that a believer may be demonized in the sense of oppressed by demonic malevolence . Likewise, the devil may actively seek to harass a godly servant as Paul tells the Corinthians . In brief: inhabited, no oppressed, yes.

Types Of Occult Satanic Worship In The Bible
There are many ways satan is worshipped through occult means that includes demon worship:
Divination
Divination was one of the specific practices named by Moses in his prohibition on occult worship . Often this practice included the killing of a chicken or some small animal, and on occasions to observe its liver to determine the state of affairs and direction of the immediate future . Divination is an illegitimate means of determining the will of God. The Christian desiring to know the will of God should consult the Scriptures, not the stars .
Necromancy
A second occult practice of today was also banned by God. Necromancy is an effort to communicate with and interrogate the dead. As the Bible teaches the dead are unable to communicate with the living , it only stands to reason that those who claim to have this ability are lying or are themselves deceived. In either case, the necromancer was considered an abomination unto the Lord .
Magic
The use of magic formulas and incantations was also forbidden. Today it is popular to distinguish between white and black magic, but leading biblical scholars agree that both forms of magic find their source and strength in demonic power. Those who practice magic are under certain limits as to what they can accomplish . Even when it appears that magicians are able to duplicate the power of God, they still fall short of what God is able to accomplish .

Analysis Of The Battle Prayer
With the Lords help, I drew up this special type of battle prayer for many of you so that you could throw every possible effective battle strategy against the demons, along with making sure that both you, the person who has the demons in them, and anyone else who may be in the room with you will be fully protected from any possible counterattacks from these demons once you start up the actual deliverance.
This battle prayer came in a little bit longer compared to some of the other ones that we have in our site, but when you are dealing with a nest of demons who have been living on the inside of a person for a certain number of years, you will want to cover all of your bases with them and the Lord, along with wanting to throw everything at them including the kitchen sink.
Notice the following strategies that was in this battle prayer :
1. The first thing you will want to do before you start to directly engage with the demons is to get Gods full protection on you so that neither you, the host, or anyone else who is in the room will be attacked by these demons. In this type of heavier battle prayer, I will have you do the following so that you can get Gods full protection on both you and the host before you start to actually engage with the demons:
b) Ask God to station His battle angels all around you
c) Plead the Blood of Jesus on your body, soul, spirit, and on some of your personal possessions for Gods protection

What Do Demons Look Like In The Bible
Demons do not look like little red devils with horns and a pitchfork. They are not like what you would see in a movie. They are angels spiritual beings with a spiritual body. They can take on the guise of physical form, just like angels can. And they can deceptively appear to be beautiful and holy, as if they are an angel of light.
11. 1 John 3:8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
12. Genesis 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
13. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.

Bind The Lesser Demons To The Chief Demon And Cast Them All Out As One Spirit
This next strategy will now be the final blow that you will deliver to these demons. What you will be doing in this final step and strategy is binding up all of the lesser demons to the head chief demon.
And then once you bind up all of the lesser demons to the head chief demon, then you will cast all of them out as one spirit instead of trying to cast all of them out individually, which would take a lot longer to do.
When the demons are actually being cast out, one of two things will happen. Either the person will have an actual manifestation of them leaving or there will be no manifestations. If there are no manifestations, this does not mean they have not been cast out.
The way you will know if they are gone is the person himself will be able to tell you. In some of these heavier inside type of cases, the demons will have been in these people for so long, they will know when they have left, as they will feel much lighter and much more free on the inside of them. The Holy Spirit will also help you with this, as you will be getting a very good witness from Him they have all been finally expelled out of this person for good.
Demons can also be expelled out through the nose, eyes, ears, the top of the head, and the hands. Sometimes the person will actually feel it as it is occurring, other times they will not feel or sense anything.
Why Does God Allow Demons To Attack Us
God does not allow anything to happen that is outside of His control. Everything, even the hard things in life are allowed for our sanctification and His glory. Even demonic attack. God can use it to help us grow.
God even allows those who are not His to be possessed for His own purposes. We cannot know the mind of God, but we cant trust Him because He loves us and cares for us.
42. 1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons.

What Else Do We Know About Demons According To The Bible
Demons know that God is a triune God and that Jesus is God the Son. The demons are aware of their fate. Demons have been worshipped and sacrificed since early in the Old Testament with the idol Molech, as they are being worshipped today with abortion.
We are told that the evil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour we must stand vigilant. There is never a time for the Christian to rest and not to be watchful over his soul.
43. James 2:19 You believe that God is one You do well the demons also believe, and shudder.
What Are Demons According To The Bible
Demons are angels that have rebelled against God. They decided to follow after Lucifer, the archangel who decided he wanted some of the glory that was going to God.
Just like angels, they are spiritual beings that may take on physical form. But also just like angels, they cannot act without Gods permission.
1. Revelation 16:14-15 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty. 15 Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.
2. Deuteronomy 32:17 They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear.
3. Psalm 106:37-39 They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons. 38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters. By sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the land with murder. 39 They defiled themselves by their evil deeds, and their love of idols was adultery in the LORDs sight.

Can Fundamentalist Christians Believe In Dinosaurs
The primary thing that differentiates fundamentalists from other varieties of Christians is their conviction they can prove that the Old and the New Testaments hold and, therefore, the first and final word in any discussion on ethics, geology, and biology. While most Christian authorities have no trouble interpreting the six days of creation in the Bible as figurative rather than literal because we know each day can be 500 million years long! Fundamentalists insist that a biblical day is the same as today. Combined with a close reading of the age of the patriarchs and a reconstruction of the timing of biblical events, this reduces the patriarchs to an age of approximately 6,000 years.
It is extremely difficult to fit composition and dinosaurs into that timeframe. Fundamentalists suggest solutions to this problem:
Dinosaurs were real, but they lived only a few thousand years ago. This is the most common solution to the dinosaur problem: Stegosaurus, Triceratops, and their ilk roamed the earth during biblical times, and even two, two by two, rode on Noahs ark . Through). In this view, paleontologists are at best misinformed and outright fraud when they date fossils to hundreds of millions of years ago because it goes against biblical wording.

Angels are spirit beings who are often invisible, but their presence may be made manifest in human form, in dreams and visions, in their natural state, or audibly without a visible form.
To illustrate this point, its helpful to contrast Daniels angel encounter in Daniel 9 with his experience in Daniel 10. When Gabriel appears in Daniel 9:21, he is described as a man. Daniel goes on to have a pleasant conversation with Gabriel, and there is no indication that Daniel is at all intimidated by Gabriels presence. Its as if two peers are discussing the politics of the day, albeit one has profound prophetic insight.
Then, flipping forward to chapter 10, Daniel encounters an unnamed angel, trembles in his presence, and describes him in a way that is completely unlike any human. Here is his description:

So, angels appear as humans and in their natural state. They have also been known to appear in visions. Genesis 28 and 31 record prophetic dreams the Lord gave to Jacob in which he saw angels.
In the New Testament, Marys husband, Joseph, repeatedly encountered angels who instructed him regarding Mary and Jesus while he was dreaming. It doesnt particularly matter whether these angels appeared in human or angelic form Jacob and Joseph clearly recognized them as angels.
Regardless of how angels may appear, the important point to remember is this: their presence is revealed selectively and strategically.
