What Does The Bible Say About Death
The short answer to this question is that the Bible says we literally die after death. We dont go to heaven or hell, or maintain any conscious state. Dead people sleep in unconsciousnessthey dont think or feel anything.
But the good news is that the sleep of death is not permanent. The Bible teaches there will be a resurrectiona restoration of life at a future time.

The road to Heaven is extremely small and most people will not find it even many people who call themselves Christians. Many people say they love Christ, but their actions show that they truly hate Him. Just because you go to church doesnt mean youre going to go to Heaven.
If you ask people what will you say to God if He asks you why should I let you into Heaven, most people are going to say, because Im good. I go to church and I love God. The word Christian has been changed over the years. The world is filled with fake Christians.
Jesus Christ alone is the only way into Heaven, but true acceptance of Him always results in a change of life. Repentance is not taught in pulpits anymore. Many people who call themselves Christians use the Im a sinner excuse to purposely and deliberately rebel against the Word of God. No one who rebels against His Word will enter.
There will be no excuses in Heaven none whatsoever. If you love the Lord you will commit to Him. You only have one chance. Its either Paradise or torment. God is good and a good judge must punish the criminal. Whoever wants to keep their life will lose it. Stop being part of the world, deny yourself, and take up the cross daily.

The Inescapable Problem Of Sin
Since Adam and Eve and the Fall, every human being has been born with a sinful nature. Our instincts are not toward goodness but are toward sin. We may think we are good, compared to others, but we are not holy.
If we look at the story of Israel in the Old Testament, we each see a parallel to the endless struggle in our own life: obeying God, disobeying God clinging to God, rejecting God. Eventually, we all backslide into sin. No one can meet God’s standard of holiness to get into heaven.
In Old Testament times, God addressed this problem of sin by commanding the Hebrews to sacrifice animals to atone for their sins:
“For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar it is the blood that makes atonement for ones life.”
The sacrificial system involving the desert tabernacle and later the temple in Jerusalem was never meant to be a permanent solution to humanity’s sin. All of the Bible points to a Messiah, a coming Savior promised by God to deal with the problem of sin once and for all.
“When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.”
God’s great plan of salvation is based not on people being good because they can never be good enough but on the atoning death of Jesus Christ.
Onegod Said Our Good Works Can Never Be Good Enough
It is not possible that anything good we do would ever be good enough to be our ticket to Heaven.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags and we all do fade as a leaf and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. Isaiah 64:6
Why are our good deeds not good enough to get us into Heaven? Because our good works are as filthy rags, meaning that try as we might, the good we may do would still be tainted, because of the fact that we ourselves are unclean.
If I mop my kitchen floor with a dirty mop, the floor is still dirty. My intentions were good, but the result isnt.
When any of us try to do good, that good is always tainted by sinful human flesh.
My efforts, my righteousnesses, my works are as filthy rags to God. They dont measure up to His holiness.
Therefore, no amount of doing good works will ever make anyone clean enough to enter Heaven. No one is good on their own merit.
And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lambs book of life. Revelation 21:27

Last week, we dealt with the plan of salvation as established by all New Testament scriptures. Today we will look at how this plan is corrupted by teachings that do not use the scriptures in their entirety instead, they use only those passages that establish a man-made doctrine. Paul says: if we or an angel from Heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed Galatians 1:8).
James 2 states: But someone will say, You have faith and I have works. Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that God is one you do well. Those who have come out of the great tribulation will remain before the throne of God forever.
With pure joy and adoration, they will serve Him night and day. Jesus, the Good Shepherd, will lead them to fountains of living waters, never to thirst again. Every tear will be wiped away by the merciful hand of God and they will rest in the shade of His presence.
I imagine the saints will have just as much joy, after ten thousand years of serving God, as they had on the first day. Just like the old hymn says
When weve been there ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun, weve no less days to sing Gods praise than when wed first begun.
